EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Canto. Salmo de los hijos de Coré.	1 [Song Psalm Of the sons of Korah] Great is Yahweh and most worthy of praise in the city of our God,the holy mountain,
2 El Señor es grande y digno de alabanza, en la Ciudad de nuestro Dios.	2 towering in beauty, the joy of the whole world: Mount Zion in the heart of the north, the settlement ofthe great king;
3 Su Santa Montaña, la altura más hermosa, es la alegría de toda la tierra. La Montaña de Sión, la Morada de Dios, es la Ciudad del gran Rey:	3 God himself among its palaces has proved himself its bulwark.
4 Dios se manifestó como un baluarte en medio de sus palacios.	4 For look, kings made al iance, together they advanced;
5 Porque los reyes se aliaron y avanzaron unidos contra ella;	5 without a second glance, when they saw, they panicked and fled away.
6 pero apenas la vieron quedaron pasmados y huyeron despavoridos.	6 Trembling seized them on the spot, pains like those of a woman in labour;
7 Allí se apoderó de ellos el terror y dolores como los del parto,	7 it was the east wind, that wrecker of ships from Tarshish.
8 como cuando el viento del desierto destroza las naves de Tarsis.	8 What we had heard we saw for ourselves in the city of our God, in the city of Yahweh Sabaoth, whichGod has established for ever.Pause
9 Hemos visto lo que habíamos oído en la Ciudad de nuestro Dios, en la Ciudad del Señor de los ejércitos, que él afianzó para siempre.	9 We reflect on your faithful love, God, in your temple!
10 Nosotros evocamos tu misericordia en medio de tu Templo, oh Dios.	10 Both your name and your praise, God, are over the whole wide world. Your right hand is ful of savingjustice,
11 Tu alabanza, lo mismo que tu nombre, llega hasta los confines de la tierra. Tu derecha está llena de justicia:	11 Mount Zion rejoices, the daughters of Judah delight because of your saving justice.
12 se alegra la Montaña de Sión; las ciudades de Judá se regocijan a causa de tus juicios.	12 Go round Zion, walk right through her, count her bastions,
13 Den una vuelta alrededor de Sión y cuenten sus torreones;	13 admire her walls, examine her palaces, to tel future generations
14 observen sus baluartes y miren sus palacios, para que puedan decir a la próxima generación:	14 that such is God; our God for ever and ever, he is our guide!
15 «Así es Dios, nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos, aquel que nos conduce».
