| 4 Efectivamente, introduziram-se entre vós certos homens ímpios (dos quais está escrito há muito tempo que viriam a cair nesta condenação), os quais trocam a graça do nosso Deus em luxúria, e negam a Jesus Cristo, nosso único Dominador e Senhor. | 4 For certain men entered unnoticed, who were written of beforehand unto this judgment: impious persons who are transforming the grace of our God into self-indulgence, and who are denying both the sole Ruler and our Lord Jesus Christ. |

| 6 e os anjos, que não conservaram o seu principado, mas abandonaram o seu domicílio, os reteve com cadeias eternas, nas trevas, para o juízo do grande dia. | 6 And truly, the Angels, who did not keep to their first place, but instead abandoned their own domiciles, he has reserved with perpetual chains under darkness, unto the great day of judgment. |
| 7 Assim Sodoma, Gomorra e as cidades circunvizínhas, que com elas se entregaram à luxúria e se abandonaram aos vícios contra a natureza, foram postas por escarmento, sofrendo a pena do fogo eterno. | 7 And also Sodom and Gomorrah, and the adjoining cities, in similar ways, having given themselves over to fornication and to the pursuing of other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. |
| 8 Da mesma maneira também estes, no seu delírio, contaminam a sua carne, desprezam a Dominação (de Cristo) e insultam as glórias. | 8 Similarly also, these ones certainly defile the flesh, and they despise proper authority, and they blaspheme against majesty. |
| 9 Quando o Arcanjo Miguel, disputando com o demônio, altercava sobre o corpo de Moisés, não se atreveu a proferir contra ele uma acusação injuriosa, mas disse (somente): Reprima-te o Senhor. | 9 When Michael the Archangel, disputing with the devil, contended about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring against him a judgment of blasphemy, so instead he said: “The Lord commands you.” |

| 12 Eles são as máculas dos vossos festins, em que se banqueteiam sem respeito, apascentando-se a si mesmos, nuvens sem água, que os ventos levam de uma parte para a outra, árvores de fim de outono, sem fruto, duas vezes mortas, desarraigadas, | 12 These ones are defiled within their banquets, enjoying themselves and feeding themselves without fear; waterless clouds, which are tossed about by winds; autumn trees, unfruitful, twice dead, uprooted; |
| 13 ondas furiosas do mar, que arrojam as espumas da sua torpeza, estrelas errantes, para quem espessas trevas estão reservadas por toda a eternidade. | 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming from their own confusion; wandering stars, for whom the whirlwind of darkness has been reserved forever! |

| 16 Eles são uns murmuradores queixosos, que andam segundo as suas paixões, e a sua boca profere coisas soberbas, as quais mostram admiração pelas pessoas segundo convém ao seu próprio interesse. | 16 These ones are complaining murmurers, walking according to their own desires. And their mouth is speaking arrogance, admiring persons for the sake of gain. |
| 17 Mas vós, caríssimos, lembrai-vos do que foi predito pelos Apóstolos de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, | 17 But as for you, most beloved, be mindful of the words which have been foretold by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, |
| 18 os quais vos diziam : "Nos últimos tempos virão impostores, que andarão segundo as suas paixões, cheias de impiedade." | 18 who declared to you that, in the end time, there would arrive mockers, walking according to their own desires, in impieties. |
| 19 Estes são os que provocam divisões, seres sensuais que não têm o Espírito (de Deus). | 19 These are the ones who segregate themselves; they are animals, not having the Spirit. |
| 20 Vós, porém, caríssimos, edificando-vos a vós mesmos sobre o fundamento da vossa santíssima fé, orando no Espírito Santo, | 20 But you, most beloved, are building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, |
| 21 conservai-vos no amor de Deus, esperando a misericórdia de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo para (alcançar) a vida eterna. | 21 keeping yourselves in the love of God, and anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. |
| 22 Esforçai-vos por convencer os hesitantes, | 22 So certainly, reprove them, after they have been judged. |
| 23 salvai aqueles que podeis arrancar ao fogo. Dos mais, tende compaixão com temor (de serdes contaminados), aborrecendo até a túnica que está contaminada pela sua carne. | 23 Yet truly, save them, seizing them from the fire. And have mercy on others: in fear, hating even that which is of the flesh, the defiled garment. |
