1 Os príncipes do povo habitaram em Jerusalém, mas o resto do povo deitou sortes, para tirarem uma parte de dez, a qual habitaria em Jerusalém, cidade santa, ficando as restantes nove partes nas outras cidades.	1 And the princes of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: but the rest of the people cast lots, to take one part in ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.
2 O povo abençoou todos os homens que se ofereceram voluntariamente para habitar em Jerusalém.	2 And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 Estes são os principais da província que habitaram em Jerusalém. Nas cidades de Judá, cada um se estabeleceu na sua possessão, na sua cidade: os Israelitas, os sacerdotes, os Levitas, os Natineus e os filhos dos servos de Solomão.	3 These therefore are the chief men of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda. And every one dwelt in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon.
4 Em Jerusalém habitaram filhos de Judá e filhos de Benjamim. Dos filhos de Judá: Ataias, filho de Azião, filho de Zacarias, filho de Amarias, filho de Safatias, filho de Malaleel, dos filhos de Farés;	4 And in Jerusalem there dwelt some of the children of Juda, and some of the children of Benjamin: of the children of Juda, Athaias the son of Aziam, the son of Zacharias, the son of Amarias, the son of Saphatias, the son of Malaleel: of the sons of Phares,
5 Maasias, filho de Baruque, filho de Colboza, filho de Hazias, filho de Adaias, filho de Joiarib, filho de Zacarias, filho de Sela.	5 Maasia the son of Baruch, the son of Cholhoza, the son of Hazia, the son of Adaia, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zacharias, the son of the Silonite:
6 Todos os filhos de Farés, que habitaram em Jerusalém, eram quatrocentos e sessenta e oito homens valentes.	6 All these the sons of Phares, who dwelt in Jerusalem, were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.
7 Os filhos de Benjamim (que habitaram em Jerusalém) foram estes: Selum, filho de Mosolão, filho de Joed, filho de Fadaias, filho de Colaias, filho de Masias, filho de Eteel, filho de Isaías,	7 And these are the children of Benjamin: Sellum the son of Mosollam, the son of Joed, the son of Phadaia, the son of Colaia, the son of Masia, the son of Etheel, the son of Isaia.

18 Todos os Levitas na cidade santa eram duzentos e oitenta e quatro.	18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.
19 Os porteiros, Acub, Telmon e seus irmãos, que guardavam as portas, eram cento e setenta e dois.	19 And the porters, Accub, Telmon, and their brethren, who kept the doors: a hundred seventy-two.
20 O resto dos sacerdotes e dos Levitas de Israel (estavam espalhados) em todas as cidades de Judá, cada um na sua possessão.	20 And the rest of Israel, the priests and the Levites were in all the cities of Juda, every man in his possession.
21 Os Natineus habitavam em Ofel. Siaa e Gasfa eram (chefes) dos Natineus.	21 And the Nathinites, that dwelt in Ophel, and Siaha, and Gaspha of the Nathinites.
22 O chefe dos Levitas em Jerusalém era Azi, filho de Bani, filho de Hasabias, filho de Matanias, filho de Mica, um dos cantores ao serviço da casa de Deus, que eram da estirpe de Asaf.	22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Azzi the son of Bani, the son of Hasabia, the son of Mathania, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, were the singing men in the ministry of the house of Cod.
23 O rei (David) tinha posto um regulamento sobre eles, e a ordem que devia ser observada todos os dias entre os cantores.	23 For the king's commandment was concerning them, and an order among the singing men day by day.

25 Quanto às aldeias e suas cercanias, alguns dos filhos de Judá habitaram em Cariatarbe, nas suas cercanias, em Dibon, e nas suas cercanias, em Cabseel e nas suas cercanias,	25 And in the houses through all their countries. Of the children of Juda so dwelt at Cariath-Arbe, and in the villages thereof: and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof: and at Cabseel, and in the villages thereof.
26 em Jesué, em Molada, em Betfalet,	26 And at Jesue, and at Molada, and Bethphaleth,
27 em Hasersual, em Bersabee e nas suas cercanias,	27 And at Hasersual, and at Bersabee, and in the villages thereof,
28 em Siceleg, em Mocona e nas suas cercanias,	28 And at Siceleg, and at Mochona, and in the villages thereof,

30 em Zanos, em Odolão e nas suas cercanias, em Laquis e no seu território, em Azeca e nas suas cercanias. Estabeleceram-se desde Bersabee até ao vale de Enom.	30 Zanoa, Odollam, and in their villages, at Lachis and its dependencies, and at Azeca and the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Bersabee unto the valley of Ennom.
31 Os filhos de Benjamim estabeleceram-se desde Geba, em Mecmas, em Hai, era Betel e nas suas cercanias,	31 And the children of Benjamin, from Geba, at Mechmas, and at Hai, and at Bethel, and in the villages thereof,
32 em Anatot, em Nobe, em Ananias,	32 At Anathoth, Nob, Anania,
33 em Asor, em Rama, e em Getaim,	33 Asor, Rama, Gethaim,
34 em Hadid, em Seboim e em Nebalat, em Lod	34 Hadid, Seboim, and Neballat, Led,
35 e em Ono, vale dos Operários.	35 And Ono the valley of craftsmen.
36 Os Levitas tinham as suas porções em Judá e Benjamim.	36 And of the Levites were portions of Juda and Benjamin.
