1 Intelletto (ovver ammaestramento) di David, essendo nella spelonca.	1 [Psalm Of David] Yahweh, I am cal ing, hurry to me, listen to my voice when I cal to you.
2 Gridai al Signore con la voce mia; e ho pregato il Signore.	2 May my prayer be like incense in your presence, my uplifted hands like the evening sacrifice.
3 Nel suo conspetto spargo l'orazione mia; dinanzi a lui racconto la tribulazione mia.	3 Yahweh, mount a guard over my mouth, a guard at the door of my lips.
4 Nel venire a meno per me il spirito mio, e tu hai cognosciuto li sentieri miei. Hanno nascosto a me il laccio nella via per la quale andava.	4 Check any impulse to speak evil, to share the foul deeds of evil-doers. I shal not sample theirdelights!
5 Considerava alla mano destra, e vedeva; e non v'era cui cognoscesse me. Son fuggiti, e non è cui ricerchi l'anima mia.	5 May the upright correct me with a friend's rebuke; but the wicked shal never anoint my head with oil,for that would make me party to their crimes.
6 A te gridai, o Signore; dissi: tu sei la speranza mia, nella terra de' viventi la parte. mia.	6 They are delivered into the power of the rock, their judge, those who took pleasure in hearing mesay,
7 Intendi al preghiero mio; per che molto abbassato son io. Dalli miei persecutori libera me; imperò che son confortati sopra di me.	7 'Like a shattered mil stone on the ground our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.'
8 Tra' fuori della guardia l'anima mia a confessare al nome tuo; li giusti me aspettano, insino che a me retribuisca tu.	8 To you, Yahweh, I turn my eyes, in you I take refuge, do not leave me unprotected.
	9 Save me from the traps that are set for me, the snares of evil-doers.
	10 Let the wicked fal each into his own net, while I pass on my way.
