1 Ao mestre de canto. Salmo de Davi. Cântico. Levanta-se Deus; eis que se dispersam seus inimigos, e fogem diante dele os que o odeiam.	1 For the leader. A psalm of David; a song.
2 Eles se dissipam como a fumaça, como a cera que se derrete ao fogo. Assim perecem os maus diante de Deus.	2 God will arise for battle; the enemy will be scattered; those who hate God will flee.
3 Os justos, porém, exultam e se rejubilam em sua presença, e transbordam de alegria.	3 The wind will disperse them like smoke; as wax is melted by fire, so the wicked will perish before God.
4 Cantai à glória de Deus, cantai um cântico ao seu nome, abri caminho para o que em seu carro avança pelo deserto. Senhor é o seu nome, exultai em sua presença.	4 Then the just will be glad; they will rejoice before God; they will celebrate with great joy.
5 É o pai dos órfãos e o protetor das viúvas, esse Deus que habita num templo santo.	5 Sing to God, praise the divine name; exalt the rider of the clouds. Rejoice before this God whose name is the LORD.
6 Aos abandonados Deus preparou uma casa, conduz os cativos à liberdade e ao bem-estar; só os rebeldes ficam num deserto ardente.	6 Father of the fatherless, defender of widows-- this is the God whose abode is holy,
7 Ó Deus, quando saíeis à frente de vosso povo, quando avançáveis pelo deserto,	7 Who gives a home to the forsaken, who leads prisoners out to prosperity, while rebels live in the desert.
8 a terra tremia, os próprios céus rorejavam diante de vós, o monte Sinai estremecia na presença do Deus de Israel.	8 God, when you went forth before your people, when you marched through the desert, Selah
9 Sobre vossa herança fizestes cair generosa chuva, e restaurastes suas forças fatigadas.	9 The earth quaked, the heavens shook, before God, the One of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.
10 Vosso rebanho fixou habitação numa terra que vossa bondade, ó Deus, lhe havia preparado.	10 You claimed a land as your own, O God;
11 Apenas o Senhor profere uma palavra, tornam-se numerosas as mulheres que anunciam a boa nova:	11 your people settled there. There you poured abundant rains, God, graciously given to the poor in their need.
12 Fogem, fogem os reis dos exércitos; os habitantes partilham os despojos.	12 All you people so numerous,
13 Enquanto entre os rebanhos repousáveis, as asas da pomba refulgiam como prata, e de ouro era o brilho de suas penas.	13 b) Every household will share the booty,
14 Quando o Todo-poderoso dispersava os reis, caía a neve sobre o Salmon.	14 c) its wings covered with yellow gold."
15 Os montes de Basã são elevados, alcantilados são os montes de Basã.	15 When the Almighty routed the kings there, the spoils were scattered like snow on Zalmon.
16 Montes escarpados, por que invejais a montanha que Deus escolheu para morar, para nela estabelecer uma habitação eterna?	16 You high mountains of Bashan, you rugged mountains of Bashan,
17 São milhares e milhares os carros de Deus: do Sinai vem o Senhor ao seu santuário.	17 You rugged mountains, why look with envy at the mountain where God has chosen to dwell, where the LORD resides forever?
18 Subindo nas alturas levastes os cativos; recebestes homens como tributos, aqueles que recusaram habitar com o Senhor Deus.	18 God's chariots were myriad, thousands upon thousands; from Sinai the Lord entered the holy place.
19 Bendito seja o Senhor todos os dias; Deus, nossa salvação, leva nossos fardos:	19 You went up to its lofty height; you took captives, received slaves as tribute. No rebels can live in the presence of God.
20 nosso Deus é um Deus que salva, da morte nos livra o Senhor Deus.	20 Blessed be the Lord day by day, God, our salvation, who carries us. Selah
21 Sim, Deus parte a cabeça de seus inimigos, o crânio hirsuto do que persiste em seus pecados.	21 Our God is a God who saves; escape from death is in the LORD God's hands.
22 Dissera o Senhor: Ainda que seja de Basã, eu os farei voltar, eu os trarei presos das profundezas do mar,	22 God will crush the skulls of the enemy, the hairy heads of those who walk in sin.
23 para que banhes no sangue os teus pés, e a língua de teus cães receba dos inimigos seu quinhão.	23 The Lord has said: "Even from Bashan I will fetch them, fetch them even from the depths of the sea.
24 Contemplam a vossa chegada, ó Deus, a entrada do meu Deus, do meu rei, no santuário;	24 You will wash your feet in your enemy's blood; the tongues of your dogs will lap it up."
25 Vêm na frente os cantores, atrás os tocadores de cítara; no meio, as jovens tocando tamborins.	25 Your procession comes into view, O God, your procession into the holy place, my God and king.
26 Bendizei a Deus nas vossas assembléias, bendizei ao Senhor, filhos de Israel!	26 The singers go first, the harpists follow; in their midst girls sound the timbrels.
27 Eis Benjamim, o mais jovem, que vai na frente; depois os príncipes de Judá, com seus esquadrões; os príncipes de Zabulon, os príncipes de Neftali.	27 In your choirs, bless God; bless the LORD, you from Israel's assemblies.
28 Mostrai, ó Deus, o vosso poder, esse poder com que atuastes em nosso favor.	28 In the lead is Benjamin, few in number; there the princes of Judah, a large throng, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali, too.
29 Pelo vosso templo em Jerusalém, ofereçam-vos presentes os reis!	29 Summon again, O God, your power, the divine power you once showed for us.
30 Reprimi a fera dos canaviais, a manada dos touros com os novilhos das nações pagãs. Que eles se prosternem com barras de prata. Dispersai as nações que se comprazem na guerra.	30 Show it from your temple on behalf of Jerusalem, that kings may bring you tribute.
31 Aproximem-se os grandes do Egito, estenda a Etiópia suas mãos para Deus.	31 Roar at the wild beast of the reeds, the herd of mighty bulls, the lords of nations; scatter the nations that delight in war.
32 Reinos da terra, cantai à glória de Deus, cantai um cântico ao Senhor,	32 Exact rich tribute from lower Egypt, from upper Egypt, gold and silver; make Ethiopia extend its hands to God.
33 que é levado pelos céus, pelos céus eternos; eis que ele fala, sua voz é potente:	33 You kingdoms of the earth, sing to God; chant the praises of the Lord, Selah
