Ezekiel 6

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	1 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 “Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and you shall prophesy against them,	2 Hijo de hombre, vuelve tu rostro hacia las montañas de Israel y profetiza contra ellas.
3 and you shall say: O mountains of Israel, listen to the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and hills and cliffs and valleys: Behold, I will lead over you the sword. And I will destroy your exalted places.	3 Dirás: Montañas de Israel, escuchen la palabra del Señor. Así habla el Señor a las montañas y a las colinas. Yo haré caer la espada sobre ustedes y haré desaparecer sus lugares altos.
4 And I will demolish your altars. And your graven images will be broken apart. And I will throw down your slain before your idols.	4 Sus altares serán devastados, sus braseros para el incienso serán destrozados y haré caer los cadáveres de ustedes delante de sus ídolos.
5 And I will lay the dead bodies of the sons of Israel before the face of your idols. And I will scatter your bones around your altars.	5 Pondré los cadáveres de los israelitas delante de sus ídolos y dispersaré sus huesos alrededor de sus altares.
6 In all of your habitations, the cities will be made desolate, and the exalted places will be torn down and scattered. And your altars will be broken and destroyed. And your idols will cease to exist. And your shrines will be crushed. And your works will be wiped away.	6 En todos los lugares donde ustedes habiten, las ciudades quedarán en ruinas y los lugares altos serán devastados. Así quedarán en ruinas y execrados sus altares, destrozados y arrasados sus ídolos, derribados sus braseros para el incienso y aniquiladas sus obras.
7 And the slain will fall in your midst. And you shall know that I am the Lord.	7 Los cadáveres caerán en medio de ustedes, y así sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
8 And I will leave among you those who will escape the sword among the Gentiles, when I will have dispersed you upon the earth.	8 Pero yo dejaré mi resto. Y cuando los que se hayan librado de la espada estén en medio de las naciones, cuando ustedes sean dispersados entre los pueblos,
9 And your liberated shall remember me among the nations to which they were led away as captives. For I have crushed their heart, which fornicated and withdrew from me, and their eyes, which fornicated after their idols. And they will be displeased with themselves over the evils that they have done by all their abominations.	9 los sobrevivientes se acordarán de mí, en medio de las naciones donde hayan sido deportados. Yo desgarraré su corazón prostituido que se apartó de mi y sus ojos que se prostituyeron detrás de sus ídolos; sentirán horror de sí mismos por las maldades que cometieron con todas sus abominaciones.
10 And they shall know that I, the Lord, have not spoken in vain, that I would do this evil to them.”	10 Y sabrán que yo, el Señor, no en vano los amenacé con estos males.
11 Thus says the Lord God: “Strike with your hand, and stomp with your foot, and say: ‘Alas, to all the abominations of the evils of the house of Israel!’ For they will fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.	11 Así habla el Señor: Aplaude, patalea y di: «bien hecho!», por todas las execrables abominaciones del pueblo de Israel, que va a perecer por la espada, el hambre y la peste.
12 Whoever is far away will die of pestilence. But whoever is near will fall by the sword. And whoever remains and is besieged will die by famine. And I will fulfill my indignation among them.	12 El que está lejos morirá por la peste; el que está cerca caerá bajo la espada; y el que quede sitiado morirá de hambre. Así desahogaré mi furor contra ellos.
13 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when your slain will be in the midst of your idols, all around your altars, on every exalted hill, and on the summits of all the mountains, and under every dense tree, and under every leafy oak: the places where they burned sweet-smelling incense to all their idols.	13 Y ustedes sabrán que yo soy el Señor, cuando sus cadáveres estén en medio de sus ídolos, alrededor de sus altares, en toda colina elevada y en todas las cumbres de las montañas, bajo todo árbol frondoso y bajo todo terebinto tupido, allí mismo donde ofrecían perfume agradable a todos sus ídolos.
14 And I will extend my hand over them. And I will make the earth desolate and destitute: from the desert of Riblah to all their dwelling places. And they shall know that I am the Lord.”	14 Extenderé mi mano contra ellos, haré del país una devastación y una desolación, desde el desierto hasta Riblá, en todos los lugares donde habitan, y ellos sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
