Psalms 85

1 A Prayer of David himself. Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear me. For I am needy and poor.	1 προσευχη τω δαυιδ κλινον κυριε το ους σου και επακουσον μου οτι πτωχος και πενης ειμι εγω
2 Preserve my soul, for I am holy. My God, bring salvation to your servant who hopes in you.	2 φυλαξον την ψυχην μου οτι οσιος ειμι σωσον τον δουλον σου ο θεος μου τον ελπιζοντα επι σε
3 O Lord, be merciful to me, for I have cried out to you all day long.	3 ελεησον με κυριε οτι προς σε κεκραξομαι ολην την ημεραν
4 Give joy to the soul of your servant, for I have lifted up my soul to you, Lord.	4 ευφρανον την ψυχην του δουλου σου οτι προς σε κυριε ηρα την ψυχην μου
5 For you are sweet and mild, Lord, and plentiful in mercy to all who call upon you.	5 οτι συ κυριε χρηστος και επιεικης και πολυελεος πασι τοις επικαλουμενοις σε
6 Pay attention, Lord, to my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplication.	6 ενωτισαι κυριε την προσευχην μου και προσχες τη φωνη της δεησεως μου
7 In the day of my tribulation, I cried out to you, because you heeded me.	7 εν ημερα θλιψεως μου εκεκραξα προς σε οτι εισηκουσας μου
8 There is no one like you among the gods, O Lord, and there is no one like you in your works.	8 ουκ εστιν ομοιος σοι εν θεοις κυριε και ουκ εστιν κατα τα εργα σου
9 All the nations, which you have made, will draw near and adore in your presence, O Lord. And they will glorify your name.	9 παντα τα εθνη οσα εποιησας ηξουσιν και προσκυνησουσιν ενωπιον σου κυριε και δοξασουσιν το ονομα σου
10 For you are great, and you perform wonders. You alone are God.	10 οτι μεγας ει συ και ποιων θαυμασια συ ει ο θεος μονος ο μεγας
11 Lead me, O Lord, in your way, and I will walk in your truth. May my heart rejoice, so that it will fear your name.	11 οδηγησον με κυριε τη οδω σου και πορευσομαι εν τη αληθεια σου ευφρανθητω η καρδια μου του φοβεισθαι το ονομα σου
12 I will confess to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart. And I will glorify your name in eternity.	12 εξομολογησομαι σοι κυριε ο θεος μου εν ολη καρδια μου και δοξασω το ονομα σου εις τον αιωνα
13 For your mercy toward me is great, and you have rescued my soul from the lower part of Hell.	13 οτι το ελεος σου μεγα επ' εμε και ερρυσω την ψυχην μου εξ αδου κατωτατου
14 O God, the iniquitous have risen up against me, and the synagogue of the powerful have sought my soul, and they have not placed you in their sight.	14 ο θεος παρανομοι επανεστησαν επ' εμε και συναγωγη κραταιων εζητησαν την ψυχην μου και ου προεθεντο σε ενωπιον αυτων
15 And you, Lord God, are compassionate and merciful, being patient and full of mercy and truthful.	15 και συ κυριε ο θεος οικτιρμων και ελεημων μακροθυμος και πολυελεος και αληθινος
16 Look down upon me and have mercy on me. Grant your authority to your servant, and bring salvation to the son of your handmaid.	16 επιβλεψον επ' εμε και ελεησον με δος το κρατος σου τω παιδι σου και σωσον τον υιον της παιδισκης σου
17 Make me a sign of what is good, so that those who hate me, may look and be confounded. For you, O Lord, have helped me and consoled me.	17 ποιησον μετ' εμου σημειον εις αγαθον και ιδετωσαν οι μισουντες με και αισχυνθητωσαν οτι συ κυριε εβοηθησας μοι και παρεκαλεσας με
