1 A Psalm according to Solomon.	1 W Tobie, Panie, moja ucieczka, niech nie doznam wstydu na wieki;
2 Give your judgment, O God, to the king, and your justice to the king’s son, to judge your people with justice and your poor with judgment.	2 wyrwij mnie i wyzwól w Twej sprawiedliwości, nakłoń ku mnie swe ucho i ocal mnie!
3 Let the mountains take up peace for the people, and the hills, justice.	3 Bądź mi skałą schronienia i zamkiem warownym, aby mnie ocalić, boś Ty opoką moją i twierdzą.
4 He will judge the poor of the people, and he will bring salvation to the sons of the poor. And he will humble the false accuser.	4 Boże mój, wyrwij mnie z rąk niegodziwca, od pięści złoczyńcy i ciemiężyciela.
5 And he will remain, with the sun and before the moon, from generation to generation.	5 Ty bowiem, mój Boże, jesteś moją nadzieją, Panie, ufności moja od moich lat młodych!
6 He will descend like rain upon fleece, and like showers showering upon the earth.	6 Ty byłeś moją podporą od narodzin; od łona matki moim opiekunem. Ciebie zawsze wysławiałem.
7 In his days, justice will rise like the sun, with abundance of peace, until the moon is taken away.	7 Jak gdyby cudem stałem się dla wielu, Ty bowiem byłeś potężnym mym wspomożycielem.
8 And he will rule from sea to sea and from the river to the limits of the whole world.	8 Usta moje były pełne Twojej chwały, przez cały dzień - Twojej sławy.
9 In his sight, the Ethiopians will fall prostrate, and his enemies will lick the ground.	9 Nie odtrącaj mnie w czasie starości; gdy siły ustaną, nie opuszczaj mnie!
10 The kings of Tarshish and the islands will offer gifts. The kings of Arabia and of Seba will bring gifts.	10 Albowiem moi wrogowie o mnie rozprawiają, czyhający na moje życie radzą się nawzajem,
11 And all the kings of the earth shall adore him. All nations will serve him.	11 Bóg go opuścił - mówią - gońcie go, chwytajcie, bo nie ma on wybawcy.
12 For he will free the poor from the powerful, and the poor one who has no helper.	12 O Boże, nie stój z daleka ode mnie, mój Boże, pośpiesz mi na pomoc!
13 He will spare the poor and the indigent, and he will bring salvation to the souls of the poor.	13 Niech się zawstydzą i niech upadną wrogowie mego życia; niech się hańbą i wstydem okryją szukający mego nieszczęścia!
14 He will redeem their souls from usuries and from iniquity, and their names shall be honorable in his sight.	14 Ja zaś będę zawsze ufał i pomnażał wszelką Twą chwałę.
15 And he will live, and to him will be given from the gold of Arabia, and by him they will always adore. They will bless him all day long.	15 Moje usta będą głosić Twoją sprawiedliwość, przez cały dzień Twoją pomoc: bo nawet nie znam jej miary.
16 And there will be a firmament on earth, at the summits of mountains: its fruits will be extolled above Lebanon, and those of the city will flourish like the grass of the earth.	16 Przyjdę z potężnymi czynami Pana i będę przypominał tylko Jego sprawiedliwość.
17 May his name be blessed forever; may his name remain before the sun. And all the tribes of the earth will be blessed in him. All nations will magnify him.	17 Boże, Ty mnie uczyłeś od mojej młodości, i do tej chwili głoszę Twoje cuda.
18 Blessed is the Lord, God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.	18 Lecz i w starości, i w wieku sędziwym nie opuszczaj mnie, Boże, gdy [moc] Twego ramienia głosić będę, całemu przyszłemu pokoleniu - Twą potęgę,
19 And blessed is the name of his majesty in eternity. And all the earth will be filled with his majesty. Amen. Amen.	19 i sprawiedliwość Twą, Boże, sięgającą wysoko, którą tak wielkich dzieł dokonałeś: o Boże, któż jest równy Tobie?
20 The praises of David, the son of Jesse, have reached an end.	20 Zesłałeś na mnie wiele srogich utrapień, lecz znowu przywrócisz mi życie i z czeluści ziemi znów mnie wydobędziesz.
	21 Pomnóż moją godność i pociesz mnie na nowo!
	22 A ja chcę wielbić na harfie Twoją wierność, mój Boże! Będę Ci grał na cytrze, Święty Izraela!
	23 Rozradują się moje wargi, gdy będę Ci śpiewał, i dusza moja, którą odkupiłeś.
	24 Również mój język przez cały dzień będzie głosił Twoją sprawiedliwość, bo okryli się hańbą i wstydem szukający mojego nieszczęścia.
