Psalms 149

CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN	LXX
1 Alleluia. Sing to the Lord a new song. His praise is in the Church of the saints.	1 αλληλουια ασατε τω κυριω ασμα καινον η αινεσις αυτου εν εκκλησια οσιων
2 Let Israel rejoice in him who made them, and let the sons of Zion exult in their king.	2 ευφρανθητω ισραηλ επι τω ποιησαντι αυτον και υιοι σιων αγαλλιασθωσαν επι τω βασιλει αυτων
3 Let them praise his name in chorus. Let them sing psalms to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.	3 αινεσατωσαν το ονομα αυτου εν χορω εν τυμπανω και ψαλτηριω ψαλατωσαν αυτω
4 For the Lord is well pleased with his people, and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.	4 οτι ευδοκει κυριος εν λαω αυτου και υψωσει πραεις εν σωτηρια
5 The saints will exult in glory. They will rejoice upon their couches.	5 καυχησονται οσιοι εν δοξη και αγαλλιασονται επι των κοιτων αυτων
6 The exultations of God will be in their throat, and two-edged swords will be in their hands:	6 αι υψωσεις του θεου εν τω λαρυγγι αυτων και ρομφαιαι διστομοι εν ταις χερσιν αυτων
7 to obtain vindication among the nations, chastisements among the peoples,	7 του ποιησαι εκδικησιν εν τοις εθνεσιν ελεγμους εν τοις λαοις
8 to bind their kings with shackles and their nobles with manacles of iron,	8 του δησαι τους βασιλεις αυτων εν πεδαις και τους ενδοξους αυτων εν χειροπεδαις σιδηραις
9 to obtain judgment over them, as it has been written. This is glory for all his saints. Alleluia.	9 του ποιησαι εν αυτοις κριμα εγγραπτον δοξα αυτη εστιν πασι τοις οσιοις αυτου
