1 Alleluia. Praise the name of the Lord. You servants, praise the Lord.	1 - Alleluia! Lodate il nome del Signore, lodate [voi suoi] servi, il Signore,
2 You who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God:	2 voi che state nella casa del Signore, negli atri della casa del nostro Dio.
3 praise the Lord, for the Lord is good. Sing psalms to his name, for it is sweet.	3 Lodate il Signore, perchè il Signore è buono, inneggiate al suo nome, perch'è soave.
4 For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel for his own possession.	4 Poichè il Signore s'è scelto Giacobbe, [s'è scelto] Israele per sua possessione.
5 For I have known that the Lord is great, and our God is before all gods.	5 Io so che grande è il Signore, e il nostro Dio è su tutti gli dèi.
6 All things whatsoever that he willed, the Lord did: in heaven, on earth, in the sea, and in all the deep places.	6 Tutto quanto vuole il Signore, egli fa nel cielo e sulla terra, nel mare e in tutti gli abissi.
7 He leads clouds from the ends of the earth. He has created lightnings in the rain. He has produced winds from his storehouses.	7 Solleva le nubi dall'estremità della terra; le folgori per la pioggia produce, i vènti trae fuori dai suoi serbatoi.
8 He struck the first-born of Egypt, from man even to cattle.	8 Egli percosse i primogeniti d'Egitto, dall'uomo sino alle bestie.
9 He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt: upon Pharaoh and upon all his servants.	9 E mandò portenti e prodigi in mezzo a te, o Egitto, contro Faraone e tutti i suoi servi.
10 He has struck many nations, and he has slaughtered strong kings:	10 Percosse nazioni molte, e uccise re potenti,
11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.	11 Sehon re degli Amorreie Og re di Basane tutti i regni di Canaan:
12 And he gave their land as an inheritance, as an inheritance for his people Israel.	12 e diede la lor terra in retaggio, in retaggio a Israele suo popolo.
13 Your name, O Lord, is in eternity. Your memorial, O Lord, is from generation to generation.	13 Signore, il tuo nome sta in eterno! Signore, la tua memoria [va] di generazione in generazione!
14 For the Lord will judge his people, and he will be petitioned by his servants.	14 Perchè fa giustizia il Signore al suo popolo, e de' suoi servi si muove a pietà.
15 The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men.	15 [Ma] gl'idoli delle genti sono argento e oro, opera delle mani degli uomini.
16 They have a mouth, and do not speak. They have eyes, and do not see.	16 Han la bocca e non parlano, han gli occhi e non vedono,
17 They have ears, and do not hear. For neither is there any breath in their mouths.	17 han gli orecchi e non odono, nè v'è fiato nella lor bocca.
18 Let those who make them become like them, along with all who trust in them.	18 Diventino simili ad essi quei che li fabbricanoe quanti confidano in loro!
19 Bless the Lord, O house of Israel. Bless the Lord, O house of Aaron.	19 O casa d'Israele, benedite il Signore, casa d'Aronne, benedite il Signore,
20 Bless the Lord, O house of Levi. You who fear the Lord, bless the Lord.	20 casa di Levi benedite il Signore, voi che temete il Signore, benedite il Signore!
21 The Lord is blessed from Zion, by those who dwell in Jerusalem.	21 Benedetto da Sion il Signore, che abita in Gerusalemme. [Alleluia!]
