2 Blessed are those who examine his testimonies. They seek him with their whole heart.	2 Beati quei che scrutano [e osservano] le sue massime, [che] con tutto il cuore le cercano.
3 For those who work iniquity have not walked in his ways.	3 Che non operano iniquità, [e] nelle sue vie camminano.
4 You have ordered your commandments to be kept most diligently.	4 Tu hai ingiunto, i tuoi comandamenti, perchè fossero osservati rigorosamente.
5 I wish that my ways may be directed so as to keep your justifications.	5 Oh! siano indirizzati [e rafforzati] i miei passi, a custodire i tuoi statuti.
6 Then I will not be confounded, when I will look into all your commandments.	6 Non arrossirò allora, se avrò badato a tutti i tuoi precetti.
7 I will confess to you with honesty of heart. In this way, I have learned the judgments of your justice.	7 Ti celebrerò con rettitudine di cuore, perchè ho imparato i giudizi della tua giustizia.

14 I have been delighted in the way of your testimonies, as if in all riches.	14 Nella via delle tue massime mi diletto, come [e più che] in ogni ricchezza.
15 I will be trained in your commandments, and I will consider your ways.	15 I tuoi comandamenti io meditoe bado alle tue vie.
16 I will meditate on your justifications. I will not forget your words.	16 Sui tuoi statuti io medito [con diletto], non dimentico la tua parola. Ghimel.
17 GHIMEL. Repay your servant, revive me; and I will keep your words.	17 Fa' del bene al tuo servo, fa' ch'io viva, e osserverò la tua parola.
18 Reveal to my eyes, and I will consider the wonders of your law.	18 Togli il velo ai miei occhi e considereròle maraviglie della tua legge.
19 I am a sojourner on the earth. Do not hide your commandments from me.	19 Forestiero io son sulla terra, non nascondere a me i tuoi precetti.
20 My soul has longed to desire your justifications at all times.	20 Si consuma l'anima mia di desiderioper i tuoi giudizi in ogni tempo.
21 You have rebuked the arrogant. Those who decline from your commandments are accursed.	21 Tu minacci i superbi: maledettiquei che deviano da' tuoi precetti!
22 Take me away from disgrace and contempt, for I have sought your testimonies.	22 Togli via da me l'obbrobrio e il dispregio, perchè le tue massime io curo.
23 For even the leaders sat and spoke against me. But your servant has been trained in your justifications.	23 S'assidono anche i principi e parlan contro di me; ma il tuo servo medita i tuoi statuti.
24 For your testimonies are also my meditation, and your justifications are my counsel.	24 Invero le tue massime son la mia meditazione [e la mia delizia], e i tuoi statuti i miei consiglieri. Daleth.
25 DALETH. My soul has adhered to the pavement. Revive me according to your word.	25 Prostesa a terra è l'anima mia, rimettimi tu in vita secondo la tua parola.

28 My soul has slumbered because of weariness. Confirm me in your words.	28 Dorme l'anima mia per il tedio, confortami secondo la tua parola.
29 Remove the way of iniquity from me, and have mercy on me by your law.	29 La via dell'iniquità [e della menzogna] allontana da me, e per la tua legge abbi pietà di me.
30 I have chosen the way of truth. I have not forgotten your judgments.	30 La via della fedeltà ho scelto, i tuoi giudizi non dimentico.
31 I have adhered to your testimonies, O Lord. Do not be willing to confound me.	31 Mi sono attaccato alle tue massime, o Signore, non mi fare arrossire.
32 I have run by way of your commandments, when you enlarged my heart.	32 La via de' tuoi precetti io corro, quando tu allarghi il mio cuore. He.
33 HE. O Lord, place the law before me, the way of your justifications, and I will always inquire into it.	33 Insegnami, o Signore, la via de' tuoi statutie la ricercherò [e custodirò] sempre.

36 Bend my heart with your testimonies, and not with avarice.	36 Piega il mio cuore verso le tue massime e non verso la cupidigia.
37 Turn my eyes away, lest they see what is vain. Revive me in your way.	37 Distogli i miei occhi dal veder la vanità, nella tua via rimettimi in vita.
38 Station your eloquence with your servant, along with your fear.	38 Mantieni al tuo servo il tuo detto[a chi vive] nel timor tuo.
39 Cut off my disgrace, which I have taken up, for your judgments are delightful.	39 Taglia via da me l'obbrobrio che pavento, perchè i tuoi giudizi son [buoni e] lieti.
40 Behold, I have longed for your commandments. Revive me in your fairness.	40 Ecco, io bramo i tuoi comandamenti: nella tua equità rimettimi in vita. Van.
41 VAU. And let your mercy overwhelm me, O Lord: your salvation according to your eloquence.	41 E venga su me la tua misericordia, o Signore, la tua salvezza secondo il tuo detto.
42 And I will respond to those who reproach me by word, for I have hoped in your words.	42 E saprò che rispondere ai miei ingiuriatori, poichè confido nella tua parola.
43 And do not utterly take away the word of truth from my mouth. For in your judgments, I have hoped beyond hope.	43 Non toglier dalla mia bocca la parola di verità, perchè nei tuoi giudizi fortemente io spero.
44 And I will always keep your law, in this age and forever and ever.	44 E osserverò la tua legge sempre, in perpetuo e ne' secoli de' secoli.
45 And I have wandered far and wide, because I was seeking your commandments.	45 E camminerò all'aperto, perchè i tuoi comandamenti io ricerco.
46 And I spoke of your testimonies in the sight of kings, and I was not confounded.	46 E parlerò delle tue massime al cospetto de' re, e non avrò rossore.
47 And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved.	47 E mediterò [con diletto] sui tuoi precettiche io amo.
48 And I lifted up my hands to your commandments, which I loved. And I was trained in your justifications.	48 E metterò mano ai tuoi precetti che io amo, e mediterò sui tuoi statuti. Zain.
49 ZAIN. Be mindful of your word to your servant, by which you have given me hope.	49 Rammentati della tua parola al tuo servo, con la quale mi hai dato speranza.

67 Before I was humbled, I committed offenses; because of this, I have kept to your word.	67 Prima ch'io fossi afflitto, ho commesso falli; ma ora il tuo detto osservo.
68 You are good, so in your goodness teach me your justifications.	68 Buono tu sei, e nella tua bontàinsegnami i tuoi statuti.
69 The iniquity of the arrogant has been multiplied over me. Yet I will examine your commandments with all my heart.	69 S'è moltiplicata contro di me l'iniquità de' superbi, ma io con tutto il mio cuore scruto [e osservo] i tuoi comandamenti.
70 Their heart has been curdled like milk. Truly, I have meditated on your law.	70 S'è coagulato come latte il cuor loro, ma io la tua legge medito [con diletto].
71 It is good for me that you humbled me, so that I may learn your justifications.	71 Buon per me che m'hai afflitto, perchè imparassi i tuoi statuti.

78 Let the arrogant be confounded, for unjustly they have done iniquity to me. But I will be trained in your commandments.	78 Sian confusi i superbi che ingiustamente m'han leso: io medito sui tuoi comandamenti.
79 Let those who fear you turn to me, along with those who know your testimonies.	79 Si volgano a me quei che ti temonoe conoscon le tue massime.
80 Let my heart be immaculate in your justifications, so that I may not be confounded.	80 Sia il mio cuore irreprensibile ne' tuoi statuti, perchè io non abbia ad arrossire. caph.
81 CAPH. My soul has faltered in your salvation, yet in your word, I have hoped beyond hope.	81 languisce [di desiderio] per la tua salvezza l'anima mia, e nella tua parola fortemente io spero.
82 My eyes have failed in your eloquence, saying, “When will you console me?”	82 Languono i miei occhi per il tuo detto, ripetendo: «Quando mi consolerai?».
83 For I have become like a wineskin in the frost. I have not forgotten your justifications.	83 Perchè son diventato come un otre [esposto] alla brinata, [e tuttavia] i tuoi statuti non ho dimenticato.
84 How many are the days of your servant? When will you bring judgment against those who persecute me?	84 Quanti son mai i giorni del tuo servo? quando farai tu de' miei persecutori giudizio?
85 The iniquitous have spoken fables to me. But these are unlike your law.	85 Gl'iniqui m'han contato favole; ma non come la tua legge!
86 All your commandments are truth. They have been persecuting me unjustly: assist me.	86 Tutti i tuoi precetti son verità: ingiustamente mi perseguitano, salvami tu.

90 Your truth is from generation to generation. You have founded the earth, and it remains firm.	90 Di generazione in generazione la tua fedeltà [rimane]: hai fondato la terra e sta salda.
91 By your ordinance, the day perseveres. For all things are in service to you.	91 Per tuo ordine persiste il giorno, perchè ogni cosa è al tuo servizio.

93 I will not forget your justifications, for eternity. For by them, you have enlivened me.	93 In eterno non mi scorderò de' tuoi statuti, perchè per essi mi rimetti in vita.
94 I am yours. Accomplish my salvation. For I have inquired into your justifications.	94 Tuo io sono, salvami!perchè i tuoi statuti io cerco.
95 The sinners have waited for me, in order to destroy me. I have understood your testimonies.	95 M'aspettano [al varco] gli empi per rovinarmi: alle tue massime io bado.
96 I have seen the end of the consummation of all things. Your commandment is exceedingly broad.	96 Di ogni perfezione ho visto un limite;[ma] vasto è il tuo precetto oltremodo. Mem.
97 MEM. How have I loved your law, O Lord? It is my meditation all day long.	97 Come amo la tua legge, o Signore!tutto il giorno è la mia meditazione.
98 By your commandment, you have made me able to see far, beyond my enemies. For it is with me for eternity.	98 Più savio de' miei nemici tu m'hai fatto col tuo precetto, perchè in eterno esso m'appartiene.
99 I have understood beyond all my teachers. For your testimonies are my meditation.	99 Più di tutti i miei maestri io capisco, perchè le tue massime son la mia meditazione.
100 I have understood beyond the elders. For I have searched your commandments.	100 Più de' vecchi ho senno, perchè i tuoi comandamenti io ricerco [e osservo].
101 I have prohibited my feet from every evil way, so that I may keep your words.	101 Da ogni cattivo sentiero ritraggo i miei piedi, per custodir la tua parola.
102 I have not declined from your judgments, because you have stationed a law for me.	102 Dai tuoi giudizi non devio, perchè tu m'ammaestri.
103 How sweet is your eloquence to my palate, more so than honey to my mouth!	103 Quanto dolci al mio palato sono i tuoi detti!più che il miele alla mia bocca!
104 I obtained understanding by your commandments. Because of this, I have hated every way of iniquity.	104 Dai tuoi comandamenti acquisto intelligenza; perciò odio ogni via d'iniquità! Nun.

108 Make the willing offerings of my mouth well pleasing, Lord, and teach me your judgments.	108 Le [offerte] spontanee della mia bocca gradisci, o Signore, e i tuoi giudizi insegnami.
109 My soul is always in my hands, and I have not forgotten your law.	109 L'anima mia è sulle mie mani sempre, ma la tua legge non ho dimenticato.

119 I have considered all the sinners of the earth to be transgressors. Therefore, I have loved your testimonies.	119 Fuorviati reputo tutti i peccatori della terra, perciò io amo le tue massime.
120 Pierce my flesh with your fear, for I am afraid of your judgments.	120 Trafiggi col tuo timore le mie carni, che i tuoi giudizi io pavento. Ain.
121 AIN. I have accomplished judgment and justice. Do not hand me over to those who slander me.	121 Adempio il giudizio e la giustizia: non m'abbandonare a' miei calunniatori [e persecutori].
122 Uphold your servant in what is good. And do not allow the arrogant to slander me.	122 Datti cura del tuo servo per il [suo] bene, non mi calunnino [nè m'opprimano] i superbi.
123 My eyes have failed in your salvation and in the eloquence of your justice.	123 I miei occhi languono [di desiderio] per la tua salvezzae per il detto della tua giustizia.
124 Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your justifications.	124 Fa' col tuo servo secondo la tua misericordia, e i tuoi statuti insegnami.
125 I am your servant. Give me understanding, so that I may know your testimonies.	125 Tuo servo io sono: dammi intellettoper conoscer le tue massime.
126 It is time to act, O Lord. They have dissipated your law.	126 È tempo d'agire, o Signore!han spazzato via la tua legge.
127 Therefore, I have loved your commandments beyond gold and topaz.	127 Perciò io amo i tuoi precettipiù dell'oro e del topazio.
128 Because of this, I was directed toward all your commandments. I held hatred for every iniquitous way.	128 Perciò secondo tutti i tuoi comandamenti io mi dirigoe ogni via iniqua [di menzogna] detesto. Phe.

134 Redeem me from the slanders of men, so that I may keep your commandments.	134 Liberami dalle calunnie [e dall'oppressione] degli uomini, perchè io osservi i tuoi comandamenti.
135 Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your justifications.	135 Fa' risplender la tua faccia sul servo tuo, e insegnami i tuoi statuti.
136 My eyes have gushed like springs of water, because they have not kept your law.	136 Torrenti d'acqua versano i miei occhi, perchè non s'osserva la tua legge. Sade.
137 SADE. You are just, O Lord, and your judgment is right.	137 Giusto tu sei, o Signore, e retto è il tuo giudizio.
138 You have commanded justice: your testimonies and your truth even more so.	138 Hai ingiunto [con] giustizia le tue massime e [con] verità stragrande.
139 My zeal has caused me to pine away, because my enemies have forgotten your words.	139 Mi consuma il mio zeloperchè han dimenticato le tue parole i miei nemici.
140 Your eloquence has been greatly enflamed, and your servant has loved it.	140 Depurato intensamente al fuoco è il tuo detto, e il tuo servo lo ama.
141 I am young and treated with contempt. But I have not forgotten your justifications.	141 Piccolo io sono e disprezzato, [ma] i tuoi statuti non dimentico.

148 My eyes preceded the dawn for you, so that I might meditate on your eloquence.	148 Prevengono i miei occhi, a te [rivolti], il crepuscolo, per meditare i tuoi detti.
149 Hear my voice according to your mercy, O Lord. And revive me according to your judgment.	149 La mia voce deh! ascolta secondo la tua misericordia, o Signore, e secondo il tuo giudizio rimettimi in vita.
150 Those who persecute me have drawn near to iniquity, but they been brought far from your law.	150 Si avvicinano i miei persecutori all'iniquità, dalla tua legge si sono allontanati.
151 You are near, O Lord, and all your ways are truth.	151 [Ma] vicino sei tu, o Signore, e tutte le tue vie son verità.
152 I have known from the beginning about your testimonies. For you founded them in eternity.	152 Ab antico io so circa le tue massime, che in eterno le hai stabilite. Res.

158 I saw the prevaricators, and I pine away. For they have not kept your word.	158 Vedo i prevaricatori e mi consumo, perchè i tuoi detti non osservano.

161 SIN. The leaders have persecuted me without cause. And my heart has been awed by your words.	161 I principi mi perseguitano senza ragione, ma [solo] delle tue parole teme il mio cuore.
162 I will rejoice over your eloquence, like one who has found many spoils.	162 Gioisco a motivo de' tuoi detti, come chi abbia trovato una gran preda.
163 I have held hatred for iniquity, and I have abhorred it. Yet I have loved your law.	163 L'iniquità ho in odio e aborro, ma la tua legge ho cara.
164 Seven times a day, I uttered praise to you about the judgments of your justice.	164 Sette volte al giorno io ti dò lodeper i giudizi della tua giustizia.
165 Those who love your law have great peace, and there is no scandal for them.	165 Molta pace per quelli che aman la tua legge e non v'è inciampo per essi.

171 A hymn will burst forth from my lips, when you will teach me your justifications.	171 Proromperanno le mie labbra in un inno [di lode], perchè tu m'insegni i tuoi statuti.
172 My tongue will pronounce your eloquence. For all your commandments are fairness.	172 Celebrerà la mia lingua il tuo detto, perchè tutti i tuoi precetti son gustizia.
173 Let it be your hand that saves me. For I have chosen your commandments.	173 Si accinga la mano tua a salvarmi, perchè i tuoi comandamenti io ho eletto.
174 O Lord, I have longed for your salvation, and your law is my meditation.	174 Io bramo la salvezza da te, o Signore, e la tua legge è la mia meditazione [e la mia delizia].
175 My soul will live and will praise you, and your judgments will assist me.	175 Viva l'anima mia e ti lodi, e i tuoi giudizi mi soccorrano.
