Nehemiah 11

1 Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem. Yet truly, the remainder of the people cast lots, so that they might choose one part in ten who were to live in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts for the other cities.	1 Και κατωκησαν οι αρχοντες του λαου εν Ιερουσαλημ? και το υπολοιπον του λαου ερριψαν κληρους, δια να φερωσιν ενα εκ των δεκα να κατοικηση εν Ιερουσαλημ τη αγια πολει, τα δε εννεα μερη εν ταις αλλαις πολεσι.
2 Then the people blessed all the men who freely offered themselves to live in Jerusalem.	2 Και ηυλογησεν ο λαος παντας τους ανθρωπους, οσοι προσεφεραν αυτοπροαιρετως εαυτους να κατοικησωσιν εν Ιερουσαλημ.
3 And so these are the leaders of the province, who were living in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah. Now each one lived in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.	3 Ουτοι δε ειναι οι αρχοντες της επαρχιας οι κατοικησαντες εν Ιερουσαλημ? εν δε ταις πολεσι του Ιουδα κατωκησαν εκαστος εν τη ιδιοκτησια αυτου, εν ταις πολεσιν αυτων, ο Ισραηλ, οι ιερεις και οι Λευιται και οι Νεθινειμ και οι υιοι των δουλων του Σολομωντος.
4 And in Jerusalem, there lived some of the sons of Judah, and some of the sons of Benjamin: of the sons of Judah, Athaiah, the son of Aziam, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;	4 Και εν Ιερουσαλημ κατωκησαν τινες εκ των υιων Ιουδα και εκ των υιων Βενιαμιν? εκ των υιων Ιουδα, Αθαιας ο υιος του Οζια, υιου Ζαχαρια, υιου Αμαρια, υιου Σεφατια, υιου Μααλελεηλ, εκ των υιων Φαρες?
5 Maaseiah, the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of a Silonite.	5 και Μαασιας ο υιος του Βαρουχ, υιου Χολ-οζε, υιου Αζαια, υιου Αδαια, υιου Ιωιαριβ, υιου Ζαχαρια, υιου του Σηλωνι?
6 All these sons of Perez lived in Jerusalem, four hundred sixty-eight strong men.	6 παντες οι υιοι Φαρες οι κατοικησαντες εν Ιερουσαλημ ησαν τετρακοσιοι εξηκοντα οκτω ανδρες δυναμεως.
7 Now these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah;	7 Οι δε υιοι Βενιαμιν ειναι ουτοι? Σαλλου ο υιος του Μεσουλλαμ, υιου Ιωαδ, υιου Φεδαια, υιου Κωλαια, υιου Μαασια, υιου Ιθιηλ, υιου Ιεσαια?
8 and after him Gabbai, Sallai. These were nine hundred twenty-eight.	8 και μετ' αυτων, Γαββαει, Σαλλαι, εννεακοσιοι εικοσιοκτω?
9 And Joel, the son of Zichri, was their foremost leader. And Judah, the son of Hassenuah, was second over the city.	9 και Ιωηλ ο υιος του Ζιχρι ητο εφορος αυτων? ο δε Ιουδας, ο υιος του Σενουα, δευτερος επι την πολιν?
10 And from the priests, there were Jedaiah, the son of Joiarib, Jachin,	10 Εκ των ιερεων, Ιεδαιας ο υιος του Ιωιαριβ, Ιαχειν,
11 Seraiah, the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God,	11 Σεραιας ο υιος του Χελκια, υιου Μεσσουλλαμ, υιου Σαδωκ, υιου Μεραιωθ, υιου Αχιτωβ, ο αρχων του οικου του Θεου.
12 and their brothers, who were doing the works of the temple: eight hundred twenty-two. And Adaiah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zachariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah,	12 Και οι αδελφοι αυτων οι ποιουντες το εργον του οικου ησαν οκτακοσιοι εικοσιδυο? και Αδαιας ο υιος του Ιεροαμ, υιου Φελαλια, υιου Αμσι, υιου Ζαχαρια, υιου Πασχωρ, υιου Μαλχια,
13 and his brothers, the leaders among the fathers: two hundred forty-two. And Amassai, the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,	13 και οι αδελφοι αυτου, αρχοντες πατριων, διακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα δυο? και Αμασσαι ο υιος του Αζαρεηλ, υιου Ααζαι, υιου Μεσιλλεμωθ, υιου Ιμμηρ,
14 and their brothers, who were very powerful: one hundred twenty-eight. And their foremost leader was Zabdiel, the son of the powerful.	14 και οι αδελφοι αυτων, ανδρες δυνατοι εν ισχυι, εκατον εικοσιοκτω? εφορος δε αυτων ητο Ζαβδιηλ, υιος του Γεδωλειμ.
15 And from the Levites, there were Shemaiah, the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni,	15 Και εκ των Λευιτων, Σεμαιας ο υιος του Ασσουβ, υιου Αζρικαμ, υιου Ασαβια, υιου Βουννι?
16 and Shabbethai and Jozabad, who were over all the works which were exterior to the house of God, from among the leaders of the Levites.	16 και Σαββεθαι και Ιωζαβαδ, εκ των αρχοντων των Λευιτων, ησαν επι των εξωτερικων εργων του οικου του Θεου.
17 And Mattaniah, the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the leader of praise and confession in prayer, with Bakbukiah, second among his brothers, and Abda, the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.	17 Και Ματθανιας ο υιος του Μιχα, υιου Ζαβδι, υιου Ασαφ, ητο ο εξαρχων της υμνωδιας εν τη προσευχη? και Βακβουκιας ο δευτερος μεταξυ των αδελφων αυτου, και Αβδα ο υιος του Σαμμουα, υιου Ταλαλ, υιου Ιεδουθουν.
18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.	18 Παντες οι Λευιται εν τη αγια πολει ησαν διακοσιοι ογδοηκοντα τεσσαρες.
19 And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, who guarded the doorways, were one hundred seventy-two.	19 Οι δε πυλωροι, Ακκουβ, Ταλμων, και οι αδελφοι αυτων οι φυλαττοντες εν ταις πυλαις, ησαν εκατον εβδομηκοντα δυο.
20 And the remainder of Israel, the priests and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, each one in his own possession.	20 Και το υπολοιπον του Ισραηλ, οι ιερεις και Λευιται, ησαν εν πασαις ταις πολεσιν Ιουδα, εκαστος εν τη κληρονομια αυτου.
21 And the temple servants were living at Ophel, with Ziha and Gishpa, of the temple servants.	21 Οι δε Νεθινειμ κατωκησαν εν Οφηλ? και ο Σιχα και ο Γισπα ησαν επι των Νεθινειμ.
22 And the director of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi, the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. The singing men in the ministry of the house of God were from the sons of Asaph.	22 Και ο εφορος των Λευιτων εν Ιερουσαλημ ητο Οζι, ο υιος του Βανι, υιου Ασαβια, υιου Ματθανια, υιου Μιχα. Εκ των υιων του Ασαφ, οι ψαλτωδοι ησαν επι του εργου του οικου του Θεου.
23 In fact, there was a precept of the king about them, and an order among the singing men, throughout each day.	23 Διοτι ητο προσταγη του βασιλεως περι αυτων, και διατεταγμενον μεριδιον δια τους ψαλτωδους κατα πασαν ημεραν.
24 And Pethahiah, the son of Meshezabel, from the sons of Zerah, the son of Judah, was at the hand of the king concerning every word of the people,	24 Και Πεθαια ο υιος του Μεσηζαβεηλ, εκ των υιων του Ζερα υιου του Ιουδα, ητο επιτροπος του βασιλεως εν παση υποθεσει περι του λαου.
25 and in the houses throughout all their regions. Some of the sons of Judah lived at Kiriatharba and in its daughter villages, and at Dibon and in its daughter villages, and at Jekabzeel and in its vicinity,	25 Περι δε των χωριων, μετα των αγρων αυτων, τινες εκ των υιων Ιουδα κατωκησαν εν Κιριαθ-αρβα και ταις κωμαις αυτης, και εν Δαιβων και ταις κωμαις αυτης, και εν Ιεκαβσεηλ και τοις χωριοις αυτης,
26 and at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Bethpelet,	26 και εν Ιησουα και εν Μωλαδα και εν Βαιθ-φελετ,
27 and at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba and in its daughter villages,	27 και εν Ασαρ-σουαλ και εν Βηρ-σαβεε και ταις κωμαις αυτης,
28 and at Ziklag, and at Meconah and in its daughter villages,	28 και εν Σικλαγ και εν Μεκονα και εν ταις κωμαις αυτης,
29 and at Enrimmon, and at Zorah, and at Jarmuth,	29 και εν Εν-ριμμων και εν Σαρεα και εν Ιαρμουθ,
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish and its regions, and at Azekah and in its daughter villages. And they dwelt from Beersheba as far as the valley of Hinnom.	30 Ζανωα, Οδολλαμ και τοις χωριοις αυτων, Λαχεις και τοις αγροις αυτης, Αζηκα και ταις κωμαις αυτης. Και κατωκησαν απο Βηρ-σαβεε εως της φαραγγος Εννομ.
31 But the sons of Benjamin lived from Geba, at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel and in its daughter villages,	31 Και οι υιοι Βενιαμιν κατωκησαν απο Γεβα εν Μιχμας και Αιια και Βαιθηλ και ταις κωμαις αυτης,
32 to Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,	32 εν Αναθωθ, Νωβ, Ανανια,
33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,	33 Ασωρ, Ραμα, Γιτθαιμ,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, and Neballat, Lod,	34 Αδιδ, Σεβωειμ, Νεβαλλατ,
35 and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.	35 Λωδ, και Ωνω, τη φαραγγι των τεκτονων.
36 And some of the Levites were apportioned with Judah and Benjamin.	36 Και εκ των Λευιτων κατωκησαν διαιρεσεις εν Ιουδα και Βενιαμιν.
