Nehemiah 11

1 Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem. Yet truly, the remainder of the people cast lots, so that they might choose one part in ten who were to live in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts for the other cities.	1 Los jefes del pueblo se establecieron en Jerusalén. El resto del pueblo echó a suertes para que de cada diez hombres habitase uno en Jerusalén, la Ciudad Santa, quedando los otros nueve en las ciudades.
2 Then the people blessed all the men who freely offered themselves to live in Jerusalem.	2 Y el pueblo bendijo a todos los hombres que se ofrecieron voluntarios para habitar en Jerusalén.
3 And so these are the leaders of the province, who were living in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah. Now each one lived in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.	3 Estos son los jefes de la provincia que se establecieron en Jerusalén y en las ciudades de Judá; Israel, sacerdotes, levitas, donados e hijos de los siervos de Salomón, vivían en sus ciudades, cada uno en su propiedad.
4 And in Jerusalem, there lived some of the sons of Judah, and some of the sons of Benjamin: of the sons of Judah, Athaiah, the son of Aziam, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;	4 Habitaban en Jerusalén hijos de Judá e hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Ataías, hijo de Uzzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahalalel, de los hijos de Peres;
5 Maaseiah, the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of a Silonite.	5 Maaseías, hijo de Baruc, hijo de Kol Jozé, hijo de Jazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Yoyarib, hijo de Zacarías, el selanita.

7 Now these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah;	7 Los hijos de Benjamín eran: Sallú, hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Yoed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maaseías, hijo de Itiel, hijo de Isaías,

12 and their brothers, who were doing the works of the temple: eight hundred twenty-two. 13 and his brothers, the leaders among the fathers: two hundred forty-two. And Amassai, the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,	13 y sus hermanos, cabezas de familia: 242; y Amasay, hijo de Azarel, hijo de Ajzay, hijo de Mesillemot, hijo de Immer,
14 and their brothers, who were very powerful: one hundred twenty-eight. And their foremost leader was Zabdiel, the son of the powerful.	14 y sus hermanos, hombres vigorosos: 128. Su encargado era Zabdiel, hijo de Haggadol.
15 And from the Levites, there were Shemaiah, the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni,	15 De los levitas: Semaías, hijo de Jassub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Jasabías, hijo de Bunní;
16 and Shabbethai and Jozabad, who were over all the works which were exterior to the house of God, from among the leaders of the Levites.	16 Sabtay y Yozabad, que entre los jefes de los levitas estaban al frente de los servicios exteriores de la Casa de Dios;
17 And Mattaniah, the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the leader of praise and confession in prayer, with Bakbukiah, second among his brothers, and Abda, the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.	17 Mattanías, hijo de Miká, hijo de Zabdí, hijo de Asaf, que dirigía los himnos, entonaba la acción de gracias de la oración; Baqbuquías, el segundo entre sus hermanos; Abdías, hijo de Sammúa, hijo de Galal, hijo de Yedutún.
18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.	18 Total de los levitas en la Ciudad santa: 284.
19 And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, who guarded the doorways, were one hundred seventy-two.	19 Los porteros: Aqcub, Talmón y sus hermanos, que hacían la guardia de las puertas: 172.

22 And the director of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi, the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. 25 and in the houses throughout all their regions. Some of the sons of Judah lived at Kiriatharba and in its daughter villages, and at Dibon and in its daughter villages, and at Jekabzeel and in its vicinity,	25 y en los poblados situados en sus campos. Parte de los hijos de Judá habitaban en Quiryat Haarbá y sus aldeas anejas, en Dibón y sus aldeas anejas, en Jeqcabsel y sus poblados,
26 and at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Bethpelet,	26 en Yesúa, en Moladá, en Bet Pélet,
27 and at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba and in its daughter villages,	27 en Jasar Sual, en Berseba y sus aldeas anejas,
28 and at Ziklag, and at Meconah and in its daughter villages,	28 en Siquelag, en Mekoná y sus aldeas anejas,
29 and at Enrimmon, and at Zorah, and at Jarmuth,	29 en Enrimmón, en Soreá, en Yarmut,
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish and its regions, and at Azekah and in its daughter villages. 32 to Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,	32 Anatot, Nob, Ananías,

34 Hadid, Zeboim, and Neballat, Lod,	34 Jadid, Seboím, Neballat,

36 And some of the Levites were apportioned with Judah and Benjamin.	36 Había grupos de levitas en Judá y en Benjamín.
