NEW JERUSALEM	GREEK BIBLE
1 'Write to the angel of the church in Sardis and say, "Here is the message of the one who holds theseven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know about your behaviour: how you are reputed to be alive and yetare dead.	1 Και προς τον αγγελον της εν Σαρδεσιν εκκλησιας γραψον? Ταυτα λεγει ο εχων τα επτα πνευματα του Θεου και τους επτα αστερας. Εξευρω τα εργα σου, οτι το ονομα εχεις οτι ζης και εισαι νεκρος.
2 Wake up; put some resolve into what little vigour you have left: it is dying fast. So far I have failed tonotice anything in your behaviour that my God could possibly cal perfect;	2 Γινου αγρυπνος και στηριξον τα λοιπα, τα οποια μελλουσι να αποθανωσι? διοτι δεν ευρηκα τα εργα σου τελεια ενωπιον του Θεου.
3 remember how you first heard the message. Hold on to that. Repent! If you do not wake up, I shalcome to you like a thief, and you wil have no idea at what hour I shal come upon you.	3 Ενθυμου λοιπον πως ελαβες και ηκουσας, και φυλαττε αυτα και μετανοησον. Εαν λοιπον δεν αγρυπνησης, θελω ελθει επι σε ως κλεπτης, και δεν θελεις γνωρισει ποιαν ωραν θελω ελθει επι σε.
4 There are a few in Sardis, it is true, who have kept their robes unstained, and they are fit to come withme, dressed in white.	4 Εχεις ολιγα ονοματα και εν Σαρδεσι, τα οποια δεν εμολυναν τα ιματια αυτων, και θελουσι περιπατησει μετ' εμου με λευκα, διοτι ειναι αξιοι.
5 Anyone who proves victorious wil be dressed, like these, in white robes; I shal not blot that name outof the book of life, but acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels.	5 Ο νικων, ουτος θελει ενδυθη ιματια λευκα, και δεν θελω εξαλειψει το ονομα αυτου εκ του βιβλιου της ζωης, και θελω ομολογησει το ονομα αυτου ενωπιον του Πατρος μου και ενωπιον των αγγελων αυτου.
6 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	6 Οστις εχει ωτιον, ας ακουση τι λεγει το Πνευμα προς τας εκκλησιας.
7 'Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia and say, "Here is the message of the holy and true onewho has the key of David, so that when he opens, no one wil close, and when he closes, no one wil open:	7 Και προς τον αγγελον της εν Φιλαδελφεια εκκλησιας γραψον? Ταυτα λεγει ο αγιος, ο αληθινος, ο εχων το κλειδιον του Δαβιδ, οστις ανοιγει και ουδεις κλειει, και κλειει και ουδεις ανοιγει?
8 I know about your activities. Look, I have opened in front of you a door that no one will be able to close-- and I know that though you are not very strong, you have kept my commandments and not disowned myname.	8 Εξευρω τα εργα σου? ιδου, εθεσα ενωπιον σου θυραν ανεωγμενην, και ουδεις δυναται να κλειση αυτην? διοτι εχεις μικραν δυναμιν και εφυλαξας τον λογον μου και δεν ηρνηθης το ονομα μου.
9 Look, I am going to make the synagogue of Satan -- those who falsely claim to be Jews, but are liars,because they are no such thing -- I wil make them come and fal at your feet and recognize that I have lovedyou.	9 Ιδου, θελω καμει τους εκ της συναγωγης του Σατανα, οιτινες λεγουσιν εαυτους οτι ειναι Ιουδαιοι, και δεν ειναι, αλλα ψευδονται ιδου, θελω καμει αυτους να ελθωσι και να προσκυνησωσιν ενωπιον των ποδων σου και να γνωρισωσιν οτι εγω σε ηγαπησα.
10 Because you have kept my commandment to persevere, I wil keep you safe in the time of trial whichis coming for the whole world, to put the people of the world to the test.	10 Επειδη εφυλαξας τον λογον της υπομονης μου, και εγω θελω σε φυλαξει εκ της ωρας του πειρασμου, οστις μελλει να ελθη επι της οικουμενης ολης, δια να δοκιμαση τους κατοικουντας επι της γης.
11 I am coming soon: hold firmly to what you already have, and let no one take your victor's crown awayfrom you.	11 Ιδου, ερχομαι ταχεως? κρατει εκεινο το οποιον εχεις, δια να μη λαβη μηδεις τον στεφανον σου.
12 Anyone who proves victorious I wil make into a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and it wil stay therefor ever; I wil inscribe on it the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which is coming down from my God in heaven, and my own new name as wel .	12 Οστις νικα, θελω καμει αυτον στυλον εν τω ναω του Θεου μου, και δεν θελει εξελθει πλεον εξω, και θελω γραψει επ' αυτον το ονομα του Θεου μου και το ονομα της πολεως του Θεου μου, της νεας Ιερουσαλημ, ητις καταβαινει εκ του ουρανου απο του Θεου μου, και το ονομα μου το νεον.
13 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	13 Οστις εχει ωτιον, ας ακουση τι λεγει το Πνευμα προς τας εκκλησιας.
14 'Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea and say, "Here is the message of the Amen, thetrustworthy, the true witness, the Principle of God's creation:	14 Και προς τον αγγελον της εκκλησιας των Λαοδικεων γραψον? Ταυτα λεγει ο Αμην, ο μαρτυς ο πιστος και αληθινος, η αρχη της κτισεως του Θεου.
15 I know about your activities: how you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were one or the other,	15 Εξευρω τα εργα σου, οτι ουτε ψυχρος εισαι ουτε ζεστος? ειθε να ησο ψυχρος η ζεστος?
16 but since you are neither hot nor cold, but only lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.	16 ουτως, επειδη εισαι χλιαρος και ουτε ψυχρος ουτε ζεστος, μελλω να σε εξεμεσω εκ του στοματος μου.
17 You say to yourself: I am rich, I have made a fortune and have everything I want, never realising thatyou are wretchedly and pitiably poor, and blind and naked too.	17 Διοτι λεγεις οτι πλουσιος ειμαι και επλουτησα και δεν εχω χρειαν ουδενος, και δεν εξευρεις οτι συ εισαι ο ταλαιπωρος και ελεεινος και πτωχος και τυφλος και γυμνος?
18 I warn you, buy from me the gold that has been tested in the fire to make you truly rich, and whiterobes to clothe you and hide your shameful nakedness, and ointment to put on your eyes to enable you to see.	18 συμβουλευω σε να αγορασης παρ' εμου χρυσιον δεδοκιμασμενον εκ πυρος δια να πλουτησης, και ιματια λευκα δια να ενδυθης και να μη φανερωθη η αισχυνη της γυμνοτητος σου, και χρισον τους οφθαλμους σου με κολλουριον δια να βλεπης.
19 I reprove and train those whom I love: so repent in real earnest.	19 Εγω οσους αγαπω, ελεγχω και παιδευω? γενου λοιπον ζηλωτης και μετανοησον.
20 Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears me cal ing and opens the door, I wilcome in to share a meal at that person's side.	20 Ιδου, ισταμαι εις την θυραν και κρουω? εαν τις ακουση της φωνης μου και ανοιξη την θυραν, θελω εισελθει προς αυτον και θελω δειπνησει μετ' αυτου και αυτος μετ' εμου.
21 Anyone who proves victorious I wil al ow to share my throne, just as I have myself overcome andhave taken my seat with my Father on his throne.	21 Οστις νικα, θελω δωσει εις αυτον να καθηση μετ' εμου εν τω θρονω μου, καθως και εγω ενικησα και εκαθησα μετα του Πατρος μου εν τω θρονω αυτου.
22 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches." '	22 Οστις εχει ωτιον, ας ακουση τι λεγει το Πνευμα προς τας εκκλησιας.
