1 The heads of families of the Levites then came to the priest, Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun and theheads of families of the tribes of Israel-	1 Начальники поколений левитских пришли к Елеазару священнику и к Иисусу, сыну Навину, и к начальникам поколений сынов Израилевых,
2 they were then at Shiloh in Canaan. They said to them, 'Through Moses, Yahweh ordered us to begiven towns to live in, with their pasture lands for our livestock.'	2 и говорили им в Силоме, в земле Ханаанской, и сказали: Господь повелел чрез Моисея дать нам города для жительства и предместья их для скота нашего.
3 In compliance with Yahweh's order, the Israelites consequently and from their own heritage gave theLevites the fol owing towns with their pasture lands:	3 И дали сыны Израилевы левитам из уделов своих, по повелению Господню, сии города с предместьями их.
4 Lots were cast for the clans of the Kohathites: to those Levites who were sons of Aaron the priest, felthirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin;	4 Вышел жребий племенам Каафовым; и досталось по жребию сынам Аарона священника, левитам, от колена Иудина, и от колена Симеонова, и от колена Вениаминова, тринадцать городов;
5 to the other sons of Kohath, by clans,	5 а прочим сынам Каафа от племен колен Ефремова, и от колена Данова, и от половины колена Манассиина, по жребию, [досталось] десять городов;
6 fel ten towns from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh. To the sons of Gershon,by clans, fel thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali and the half-tribe of Manasseh inBashan.	6 сынам Гирсоновым--от племен колена Иссахарова, и от колена Асирова, и от колена Неффалимова, и от половины колена Манассиина в Васане, по жребию, [досталось] тринадцать городов;
7 To the sons of Merari, by clans, fel twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.	7 сынам Мерариным, по их племенам, от колена Рувимова, от колена Гадова и от колена Завулонова--двенадцать городов.
8 The Israelites assigned these towns and their pasture lands to the Levites by lot, as Yahweh hadordered through Moses.	8 И отдали сыны Израилевы левитам сии города с предместьями их, как повелел Господь чрез Моисея, по жребию.
9 From the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Simeon, they gave the towns named below.	9 От колена сынов Иудиных, и от колена сынов Симеоновых, дали города, которые [здесь] названы по имени:
10 The first portion was for the sons of Aaron, belonging to the clans of the Kohathites, to the sons ofLevi, since the first lot was theirs.	10 сынам Аарона, из племен Каафовых, из сынов Левия, так как жребий их был первый,
11 They gave them Kiriath-Arba, Anak's father's town -- now Hebron -- in the highlands of Judah, with itssurrounding pasture lands.	11 дали Кириаф-Арбы, отца Енакова, иначе Хеврон, на горе Иудиной, и предместья его вокруг его;
12 The fields and vil ages of this town, however, they gave to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his property.	12 а поле сего города и сёла его отдали в собственность Халеву, сыну Иефонниину.
13 To the sons of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron, a city of refuge for those who had kil ed, with itspasture lands, as wel as Libnah with its pasture lands,	13 Итак сынам Аарона священника дали город убежища для убийцы--Хеврон и предместья его, Ливну и предместья ее,
14 Jattir with its pasture lands, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,	14 Иаттир и предместья его, Ештемо и предместья его,
15 Holon with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,	15 Холон и предместья его, Давир и предместья его,
16 Ashan with its pasture lands, Juttah with its pasture lands, and Beth-Shemesh with its pasture lands:nine towns taken from these two tribes;	16 Аин и предместья его, Ютту и предместья ее, Беф-Шемеш и предместья его: девять городов от двух колен сих;
17 and, from the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its pasture lands, Geba with its pasture lands,	17 а от колена Вениаминова: Гаваон и предместья его, Геву и предместья ее,
18 Anathoth with its pasture lands and Almon with its pasture lands: four towns.	18 Анафоф и предместья его, Алмон и предместья его: четыре города.
19 Total number of towns for the priests, the sons of Aaron: thirteen towns with their pasture lands.	19 Всех городов сынам Аароновым, священникам, [досталось] тринадцать городов с предместьями их.
20 As regards the clans of the sons of Kohath, those Levites stil left of the sons of Kohath, the towns oftheir lot were taken from the tribe of Ephraim.	20 И племенам сынов Каафовых, левитов, прочим из сынов Каафовых, по жребию их, достались города от колена Ефремова;
21 They were given Shechem, a city of refuge for those who had kil ed, with its pasture lands, in thehighlands of Ephraim, as wel as Gezer with its pasture lands,	21 дали им город убежища для убийцы--Сихем и предместья его, на горе Ефремовой, Гезер и предместья его,
22 Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth-Horon with its pasture lands: four towns;	22 Кивцаим и предместья его, Беф-Орон и предместья его: четыре города;
23 from the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,	23 от колена Данова: Елфеке и предместья его, Гиввефон и предместья его,
24 Aijalon with its pasture lands and Gath-Rimmon with its pasture lands: four towns;	24 Аиалон и предместья его, Гаф-Риммон и предместья его: четыре города;
25 and, from the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasture lands and Jibleam with its pasturelands: two towns.	25 от половины колена Манассиина: Фаанах и предместья его, Гаф-Риммон и предместья его: два города.
26 In al : ten towns with their pasture lands for the remaining clans of the sons of Kohath.	26 Всех городов с предместьями их прочим племенам сынов Каафовых [досталось] десять.
27 To the sons of Gershon, of the levitical clans, were given: from the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan inBashan, a city of refuge for those who had kil ed, with its pasture lands, and Ashtaroth with its pasture lands --two towns;	27 А сынам Гирсоновым, из племен левитских [дали]: от половины колена Манассиина город убежища для убийцы--Голан в Васане и предместья его, и Беештеру и предместья ее: два города;
28 from the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its pasture lands, Dobrath with its pasture lands,	28 от колена Иссахарова: Кишион и предместья его, Давраф и предместья его,
29 Jarmuth with its pasture lands and En-Gannim with its pasture lands -- four towns;	29 Иармуф и предместья его, Ен-Ганним и предместья его: четыре города;
30 from the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands,	30 от колена Асирова: Мишал и предместья его, Авдон и предместья его,
31 Helkath with its pasture lands and Rehob with its pasture lands -- four towns;	31 Хелкаф и предместья его, Рехов и предместья его: четыре города;
32 and, from the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee, a city of refuge for those who had kil ed, with itspasture lands, Hammoth-Dor with its pasture lands and Kartan with its pasture lands -- three towns.	32 от колена Неффалимова город убежища для убийцы--Кедес в Галилее и предместья его, Хамоф-Дор и предместья его, Карфан и предместья его: три города.
33 Total number of towns of the Gershonites, by clans: thirteen towns with their pasture lands.	33 Всех городов сынам Гирсоновым, по племенам их, [досталось] тринадцать городов с предместьями их.
34 To the clans of the sons of Merari, the remainder of the Levites, fel : from the tribe of Zebulun,Jokneam with its pasture lands, Kartah with its pasture lands,	34 Племенам сынов Мерариных, остальным левитам, [дали]: от колена Завулонова Иокнеам и предместья его, Карфу и предместья ее,
35 Rimmon with its pasture lands and Nahalal with its pasture lands -- four towns;	35 Димну и предместья ее, Нагалал и предместья его: четыре города;
36 on the other side of the Jordan opposite Jericho, from the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the desert, on thetableland, a city of refuge for those who had killed, with its pasture lands, Jahaz with its pasture lands,	36 от колена Рувимова Бецер и предместья его, Иааца и предместья ее,
37 Kedemoth with its pasture lands and Mephaath with its pasture lands -- four towns;	37 Кедемоф и предместья его, Мефааф и предместья его: четыре города;
38 and, from the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead, a city of refuge for those who had killed, with its pasturelands, Mahanaim with its pasture lands,	38 от колена Гадова: города убежища для убийцы--Рамоф в Галааде и предместья его, Маханаим и предместья его,
39 Heshbon with its pasture lands and Jazer with its pasture lands -- four towns.	39 Есевон и предместья его, Иазер и предместья его: всех городов четыре.
40 Total number of towns forming the lot of the sons of Merari by clans, of the remaining levitical clans:twelve towns.	40 Всех городов сынам Мерариным по племенам их, остальным племенам левитским, по жребию досталось двенадцать городов.
41 The total number of towns for the Levites in Israelite territory was forty-eight towns with their pasture lands.	41 Всех городов левитских среди владения сынов Израилевых [было] сорок восемь городов с предместьями их.
42 These towns consisted in each case of the town itself and the pasture land round it. This was thecase with all the towns.	42 При городах сих были при каждом городе предместья вокруг него: так было при всех городах сих.
43 This was how Yahweh gave the Israelites the entire country which he had sworn to give to theirancestors. They took possession of it and settled in it.	43 Таким образом отдал Господь Израилю всю землю, которую дать клялся отцам их, и они получили ее в наследие и поселились на ней.
44 Yahweh granted them tranquil ity on all their frontiers just as he had sworn to their ancestors and, ofal their enemies, not one succeeded in resisting them. Yahweh put al their enemies at their mercy.	44 И дал им Господь покой со всех сторон, как клялся отцам их, и никто из всех врагов их не устоял против них; всех врагов их предал Господь в руки их.
45 Of al the promises that Yahweh had made to the House of Israel, not one failed; al were fulfilled.	45 Не осталось неисполнившимся ни одно слово из всех добрых слов, которые Господь говорил дому Израилеву; все сбылось.
