NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e disse:
2 'Give the Israelites this order. Say: "When you enter the country (Canaan), this will be the countrywhich forms your heritage. This is Canaan as defined by its boundaries:	2 Comanda ai figliuoli d'Israel, e di loro: quando voi entrerete nella terra Canaan, e averetela per possessione, terminaretela in questo modo.
3 "The southern part of your country wil start from the desert of Zin, on the borders of Edom. Yoursouthern boundary wil start on the east at the end of the Salt Sea.	3 La parte del mezzo di incomincerà dalla solitudine di Sin, la quale si è presso ad Edom; e averae i termini di ricontro all'oriente del mare salsissimo;
4 It wil then turn south towards the Ascent of the Scorpions and go by Zin to end in the south atKadesh-Barnea. It wil then run towards Hazar-Addar and pass through Azmon.	4 e conchiuderanno la parte australe per l'ascendere del scorpione, sì che passi in Senna e pervengane al mezzogiorno insino a Cadesbarne; é i confini verranno dalla villa che si chiama Ador, e torneranno insino ad Asemona.
5 From Azmon the boundary wil turn towards the Torrent of Egypt and end at the Sea.	5 E anderà per circuito d'Asemona insino al torrente d'Egitto, e alla ripa del mare grande finirà.
6 "Your seaboard wil be on the Great Sea; this will be your western boundary.	6 La parte dell' occidente incomincerà dal mare grande, e in esso finirà, e serrarassi.
7 "Your northern boundary wil be as fol ows: you wil draw a line from the Great Sea to Mount Hor,	7 Dalla parte di settentrione i termini incominceranno dal mare grande, e perverranno insino al monte altissimo;
8 then from Mount Hor you wil draw a line to the Pass of Hamath, and the boundary will end at Zedad.	8 dal quale verranno in Emat insino al termine di Sedada;
9 From there it wil run on to Ziphron and end at Hazar-Enan. This wil be your northern boundary.	9 e li confini anderanno insino a Zefrona e alla villa Enan: questi saranno i termini dalla parte d'aquilone.
10 "You will then draw your eastern boundary from Hazar-Enan to Shepham.	10 E di là termineranno i confini dalla parte d'oriente, e dalla villa di Enan insino a Sefama.
11 The boundary wil run down from Shepham towards Riblah on the east side of Ain. Further down itwil keep to the eastern shore of the Sea of Chinnereth.	11 E di Sefama discenderanno i termini in Rebla incontro al fonte di Dafnim; e indi verranno insino incontro all'oriente al mare di Ceneret;
12 The frontier wil then fol ow the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. "Such wil be your country with theboundaries surrounding it." '	12 e anderanno insino al Giordano, e all'ultimo insino al mare salso, e ivi finirà. Questa è la terra che possederete con tutto il suo circuito.
13 Moses then gave the Israelites this order: 'This is the country, where your heritages wil be assignedby lot, and which Yahweh has ordered to be given to the nine tribes and the half-tribe,	13 Comandò Moisè ai figliuoli d'Israel, e disse loro: questa è la terra che voi possederete, partendola per sorti, perciò che comandò Iddio che fosse data a nove tribù e ad una mezza tribù.
14 for the tribe of the Reubenites with their families and the tribe of the Gadites with their families havealready received their heritage; the half-tribe of Manasseh has also received its heritage.	14 La tribù de' figliuoli di Ruben per tutte le sue famiglie, e la tribù de' figliuoli di Gad con tutto il suo numero delle sue cognazioni, e la mezza tribù di Manasse,
15 These two tribes and the half-tribe have received their heritage on the other side of the Jordan byJericho, to the east, towards the sunrise.'	15 tolsero la loro parte di là dal Giordano, di rincontro a Gerico, dalla parte di oriente.
16 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	16 E Iddio disse a Moisè:
17 'Here are the names of the men who wil divide the country up for you: the priest Eleazar andJoshua son of Nun,	17 Questi sono i nomi di coloro che divideranno la terra: Eleazaro sacerdote, Iosuè figliuolo di Nun,
18 and you wil take one leader from each tribe to divide the country up into heritages.	18 e tutti i principi, ciascuno secondo la sua tribù.
19 Here are the names of these men: 'For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;	19 De' quali i nomi si chiamarono così: della tribù di Giuda, Caleb figliuolo di Iefone;
20 'for the tribe of the Simeonites, Shemuel son of Ammihud;	20 della tribù di Simeon, Samuel figliuolo di Ammiud;
21 'for the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;	21 della tribù di Beniamin, Elidad figliuolo di Caselon;
22 'for the tribe of the Danites, the leader Bukki son of Jogli;	22 della tribù de' figliuoli di Dan, Bocci figliuolo di Iogli;
23 'for the sons of Joseph: for the tribe of Manasseh, the leader Hanniel son of Ephod;	23 de' figliuoli di Iosef, della tribù di Manasse, Anniel figliuolo di Efod;
24 'for the tribe of the Ephraimites, the leader Kemuel son of Shiphtan;	24 della tribù di Efraim, Camuel figliuolo di Seftan;
25 'for the tribe of the Zebulunites, the leader Elizaphan son of Parnach;	25 della tribù di Zabulon, Elisafan figliuolo di Farnac;
26 'for the tribe of the Issacharites, the leader Paltiel son of Azzan;	26 della tribù di Issacar, il duca Faltiel figliuolo di Ozan;
27 'for the tribe of the Asherites, the leader Ahihud son of Shelomi;	27 della tribù di Aser, Aiud figliuolo di Salomi;
28 'for the tribe of the Naphtalites, the leader Pedahel son of Ammihud.'	28 della tribù di Neftali, Fedael figliuolo di Ammiud.
29 These were the men whom Yahweh ordered to divide Canaan into heritages for the Israelites.	29 E questi sono coloro a cui comandò Iddio, che dividessero la terra di Canaan ai figliuoli d'Israel.
