NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Parlo Iddio a Moisè, e disse:
2 'Make yourself two trumpets; make them of beaten silver, so that you can use them for summoningthe community, and for sounding the order to break camp.	2 Fatti due trombe d'ariento battuto, colle quali tu possi convocare il popolo, quando vi movete dalle abitazioni.
3 Whenever they are sounded, the whole community must gather round you, at the entrance to theTent of Meeting.	3 E quando tu sonerai queste due trombe, tutta la gente si raunerà dinanzi all'uscio del tabernacolo.
4 But if only one trumpet is sounded, then only the leaders, the heads of Israel's thousands, mustgather round you.	4 Se tu sonerai una volta, verranno a te tutti i principi e capi della moltitudine (de ' figliuoli) d'Israel.
5 'When the trumpet blast is accompanied by a battle cry, the encampments pitched to the east wil setout.	5 E se tu continuerai il sonare più forte, quelli che sono dalla parte dell' oriente moveranno le loro abitazioni,
6 At the second blast accompanied by a battle cry, the encampments pitched to the south wil set out.For breaking camp, the trumpet blast wil be accompanied by a battle cry,	6 E se sonerai due volte con amendue le trombe, coloro che abitano nel mezzo giorno leveranno le loro abitazioni; e in questo modo sonando le trombe, tutti gli altri (staranno e) faranno.
7 but for assembling the community the trumpets will be sounded without battle cry.	7 Quando tu vuogli raunare il popolo, sonerai la tromba; e non soneranno insieme.
8 The Aaronite priests wil sound the trumpets; this is a perpetual decree for you and your descendants.	8 E i figliuoli d'Aaron soneranno le trombe; e questo sarà loro ufficio in sempiterno, e a' loro discendenti.
9 'When in your country you go to war against an enemy who is oppressing you, you will soundtrumpets with a battle cry, and Yahweh your God wil remember you, and you wil be delivered from yourenemies.	9 E se voi anderete alla battaglia fuori della vostra terra, contro a persone che vi vogliono offendere, griderete sonando le trombe; e allora avrà Iddio memoria di voi, ed (esso Dio) vi delibe rerà dalle mani de' vostri nemici.
10 At your festivals, solemnities and new-moon feasts, you will sound the trumpets over your burntofferings and communion sacrifices, so that they recal you to the remembrance of your God. I am Yahweh yourGod.'	10 E quando avrete conviti o dì di feste,guarderete vostre solennitadi, sonerete le trombe sopra lo olocausto e sopra la oblazione pacifica, acciò che sia memoria al vostro Iddio; e io sono lo Signore vostro Iddio.
11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud rose fromwhere the Dwel ing of the Testimony was,	11 L'anno secondo, e il mese secondo, a' venti dì del mese, si levoe la nebbia del tabernacolo del patto.
12 and the Israelites set out, in marching order, from the desert of Sinai. The cloud came to rest in thedesert of Paran.	12 E i figliuoli d'Israel andarono, ciascuno colla sua gente, per lo deserto di Sinai; e la nebbia si riposoe nella solitudine di Faran.
13 These were the men who set out in the vanguard, at Yahweh's order through Moses:	13 Mossero i primi le loro abitazioni, secondo che Iddio comandò a Moisè,
14 first went the standard of the camp of the Judahites and their units, with Nahshon son ofAmminadab commanding that contingent;	14 i figliuoli di Giuda colla gente sua, de' quali era principe Naasson figliuolo di Aminadab.
15 Nethanel son of Zuar commanding the tribal contingent of the Issacharites;	15 Nella tribù de' figliuoli di Issacar fue principe Natanael figliuolo di Suar.
16 and Eliab son of Helon commanding the tribal contingent of the Zebulunites.	16 Nella tribù di Zabulon fue principe Eliab figliuolo di Elon.
17 The Dwel ing was then dismantled and the Gershonites and Merarites set out, carrying the Dwel ing.	17 Lo tabernacolo puosero giuso; e li figliuoli di Gerson e di Merari, che lo portavano no, uscirono fuori.
18 Then came the standard of the camp of the Reubenites and their units, with Elizur son of Shedeurcommanding that contingent;	18 E andarono i figliuoli di Rubén colla loro gente ordinati, della quale era principe Elisur figliuolo di Sedeur.
19 Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai commanding the tribal contingent of the Simeonites;	19 Nella tribù de' figliuoli di Simeon fue principe Salamiel figliuolo di Surisaddai.
20 and Eliasaph son of Reuel commanding the tribal contingent of the Gadites.	20 Nella tribù di Gad fue principe Elisaffi gliuolo di Duel.
21 Then came the Kohathites carrying the sanctuary (the Dwel ing was erected before they arrived).	21 E andarono i Caatiti, e portarono lo santuario. E tanto portarono lo tabernacolo, insino a tanto che loro vennero a quello luogo che si dovea porre.
22 Then came the standard of the camp of the Ephraimites and their units, with Elishama son ofAmmihud commanding that contingent;	22 E moverono i figliuoli di Efraim i loro edificii (ordinatamente) per tutte le loro schiere, infra i quali era principe Elisama figliuolo di Ammiud.
23 Gamaliel son of Pedahzur commanding the tribal contingent of the Manassehites;	23 E nella tribù de' figliuoli di Manasse fue principe Gamaliel figliuolo di Fadassur.
24 and Abidan son of Gideoni commanding the tribal contingent of the Benjaminites.	24 Nella tribù di Beniamin fue principe Abidan figliuolo di Gedeon.
25 Last of al , the rearguard of al the camps, came the standard of the camp of the Danites and theirunits, with Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai commanding that contingent;	25 Li ultimi di tutti, che si partissono, furono i figliuoli di Dan con tutte le sue schiere, nella quale tribù era principe Aiezer figliuolo di Ami saddai.
26 Pagiel son of Ochran commanding the tribal contingent of the Asherites;	26 Nella tribù de' figliuoli di Aser fue principe Fegiel figliuolo di Ocran.
27 and Ahira son of Enan commanding the tribal contingent of the Naphtalites.	27 Nella tribù de' figliuoli di Neftali fue principe Aira figliuolo di Enan.
28 Such was the order of march for the Israelites, unit by unit. So they set out.	28 E queste sono le abitazioni de' figliuoli d'Israel, per tutte le loro turme, quando egli andavano.
29 Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, his father-in-law, 'We are setting out for the countryof which Yahweh has said: I shall give it to you. Come with us, and we wil treat you wel , for Yahweh haspromised good things for Israel.'	29 Disse Moisè ad Obab figliuolo di Raguel, suo cognato: noi andiamo a quello luogo che Iddio ci dee dare; vieni con noi, acciò che ti facciamo bene, però che Iddio ci promise molto bene.
30 'I wil not come with you,' he replied, 'but shal go to my own country and kin.'	30 Ed egli rispuose: non voglio venire teco; anzi voglio tornare alla terra mia, nella quale io nacqui.
31 'Do not leave us,' Moses said, 'for you know where we can camp in the desert, and so you will beour eyes.	31 E Moisè gli disse: non abbandonare noi; perciò che tu sai i luoghi nel deserto, dove noi dovemo porre le nostre abitazioni, e sarai nostro guldatore.
32 If you come with us, we shal share with you whatever blessings Yahweh gives us.'	32 Se verrai con noi, di tutto quello che sarà lo meglio, di quello che Iddio darà di bene, noi te ne faremo parte.
33 They set out from Yahweh's mountain and travel ed for three days, while the ark of the covenant ofYahweh preceded them on the three-day journey, searching out a place for them to halt.	33 E partitisi del monte di Dio, e andarono per la via per tre dì, e l'arca di Dio andava innanzi per provedere i luoghi dove dovessero abitare.
34 In the daytime, Yahweh's cloud was over them, once they had broken camp.	34 La nebbia di Dio sempre era sopra loro il die, quando andavano.
35 Whenever the ark set out, Moses would say: Rise, Yahweh, may your enemies be scattered andthose who hate you flee at your approach!	35 Quando l'arca si levava, Moisè diceva: lè vati, Dio, e guasta i nimici tuoi, e fuggano coloro che ti odiano dalla faccia tua.
36 And when it halted, he would say: Come back, Yahweh, to the countless thousands of Israel!	36 E quando si ponera giuso, egli dicea: torna, Iddio, alla moltitudine de' figliuoli d'Israel.
