Hosea 1

NEW JERUSALEM	Biblija Hrvatski
1 The word of Yahweh which came to Hosea son of Beeri during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz andHezekiah kings of Judah, and of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel.	1 Riječ Jahvina koja dođe Hošei, sinu Beerijevu, u dane Uzije, Jotama, Ahaza i Ezekije, kraljeva judejskih, u dane Jeroboama, sina Joaševa, kralja izraelskog.
2 The beginning of what Yahweh said through Hosea: Yahweh said to Hosea, 'Go, marry a whore, andget children with a whore; for the country itself has become nothing but a whore by abandoning Yahweh.'	2 Početak riječi Jahvinih Hošei. Jahve reče Hošei: »Idi, oženi se bludnicom i izrodi djecu bludničku, jer se zemlja bludu odala, odmetnuvši se od Jahve!«
3 So he went and married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, who conceived and bore him a son.	3 I on ode, uze Gomeru, kćer Diblajimovu, koja zače i rodi mu sina.
4 Yahweh then said to him, 'Call him Jezreel, for in a little while I shal punish the House of Jehu for thebloodshed at Jezreel and put an end to the sovereignty of the House of Israel.	4 Jahve mu reče: »Nadjeni mu ime Jizreel, jer još samo malo i kaznit ću pokolje jizreelske na domu Jehuovu i dokončat ću kraljevstvo doma Izraelova.
5 When that day comes, I shal break the bow of Israel in the Val ey of Jezreel.'	5 I u taj dan slomit ću lûk Izraelov u dolini jizreelskoj.«
6 She conceived a second time and gave birth to a daughter. Yahweh then said to him, 'Cal her Lo-Ruhamah, for I shall show no more pity for the House of Israel, I shal never forgive them again.	6 I ona opet zače i rodi kćer. I reče mu Jahve: »Nadjeni joj ime Nemila, jer mi odsad neće biti mila kuća Izraelova, od nje ću se povući;
7 (Instead, I shal take pity on the House of Judah and shal save them, not by bow or sword or force ofarms, not by horses or horsemen, but by Yahweh their God.)'	7 a omiljet će mi kuća Judina, spasit ću je Jahvom, Bogom njihovim, a neću je spasiti lûkom, mačem ni kopljem, ni konjima ni konjanicima.«
8 After weaning Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son.	8 Kad odoji Nemilu, zače opet i rodi sina.
9 Yahweh said, 'Cal him Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people and I do not exist for you.'	9 I reče Jahve: »Nadjeni mu ime Ne-narod-moj, jer više niste narod moj i ja vama nisam više Onaj koji jest.«
