Isaiah 16

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 Send the lamb to the ruler of the land, from Sela by the desert, to the mountain of the daughter of Zion,	1 Signore, manda fuori l'agnello signoreggiatore della terra; della pietra del deserto insino al monte [della figliuola] di Sion.
2 for soon, like a fluttered bird, like nestlings cast out, wil be the women of Moab at the fords of theArnon.	2 E sarà; come uccello fuggente, pulcino volante fuori del nido, così saranno le figliuole di Moab nel trassilimento di Arnon.
3 Hold a council, make a decision. At noon spread your shadow as if it were night. Hide those who havebeen driven out, do not betray the fugitive,	3 E fa consiglio, e costringi lo radunamento del concilio; poni come la notte la tua ombra nel mezzo dì; nascondi li fuggenti, e non tradire li vaghi.
4 let those who have been driven out of Moab come and live with you; be their refuge in the face of thedevastator. Once the oppression is past, and the devastation has stopped and those now trampling on thecountry have gone away,	4 Li miei fuggitivi abiteranno teco; o tu, Moab, fa che tu sia loro ripostiglio dalla faccia de' guastatori; la polvere è finita, e lo misero è consumato; e quello che conculcava la terra è venuto meno.
5 the throne wil be made secure in faithful love and on it wil sit in constancy within the tent of David, ajudge seeking fair judgement and pursuing uprightness.	5 E la sedia si apparecchierà nella misericordia, e sederà sopra quella nella verità nel tabernacolo di David, giudicante e domandante giudicio, e velocemente rendente quello che è giusto.
6 We have heard about Moab's pride, about how very proud it is, about its arrogance, its pride, its rage,its bravado, which wil come to nothing!	6 Noi udimmo la superbia di Moab, e certo ch' è molto superbo; la sua superbia e la sua arroganza e la sua indignazione è più che la sua fortezza.
7 And so Moab is wailing for Moab, wailing, every one of them. For the raisin cakes of Kir-Hareseth youmourn, stricken with grief.	7 Però urlerà Moab a Moab, tutto urlerà; a quelli che si rallegrano nel muro del mattone cotto, parlate le piaghe sue.
8 For Heshbon's vineyards are withering, the vine of Sibmah whose red grapes used to overcome theoverlords of the nations. It used to reach to Jazer, had wound its way into the desert, its shoots grew sonumerous they spread across the sea.	8 Però che le ville di Esebon sono deserte, e la vigna di Sabama li signori delle genti tagliorono; le sue battitture pervennero insino a Iazer; ed errarono (la via) nel deserto, e li suoi arfosi furono lasciati, e passarono lo mare.
9 And so I weep, as Jazer weeps, for the vine of Sibmah. I water you with my tears, Heshbon andElealeh. For over your harvest and vintage the cheering has died away;	9 Sopra questo io piagnerò nel pianto di Iazer sopra la vigna di Sabama; o Esebon ed Eleale, io ti inebrierò colla mia lacrima, però che la voce. delli conculcatori corsa è sopra la tua vendemmia e sopra la tua ricolta.
10 joy and gladness have vanished from the orchards. No more revelry in the vineyards, no more happyshouting; no more the treader treads wine in the presses, the cheering has ceased.	10 E la letizia e la allegrezza sarà tolta di Carmelo (cioè di quello monte), e non si rallegrerà nelle vigne; e non ancora calcherà lo vino nel canale, quello che soleva calcare; io hoe tolta la voce de' calcatori.
11 That is why my whole being quivers like harp strings for Moab, my very heart, for Kir-Heres.	11 Sopra questo lo mio ventre sonerà a Moab come una citara, e le mie interiora alle mura del mattone cotto.
12 Moab will be seen, wearing itself out on the high places and going to its temple to pray, but it wilaccomplish nothing.	12 E sarà; quando apparirà suso quello che Moab hae affaticato sopra le sue alture, entrerà tra li suoi santi per pregare, e non gli varrà.
13 Such was the word which Yahweh spoke about Moab in the past.	13 Questa è la parola, che parlò Iddio a Moab allora.
14 And now Yahweh has spoken in these terms, 'Within three years, as a hired worker reckons them, the glory of Moab wil be humbled, despite its teeming population. It wil be reduced to nothing, an insignificantremnant.'	14 E ora parlò Iddio, e disse: in tre anni, quasi come li anni del mercenaio, sarà tolta la gloria di Moab sopra ogni populo, e sarà lasciata in lui a modo d' uno racimolo piccolo, e non ve ne sarà.
