1 [For the choirmaster Of David Psalm Song] Let God arise, let his enemies scatter, let his opponentsflee before him.	1 In fine, per quelli che saranno commutati, [David].
2 You disperse them like smoke; as wax melts in the presence of a fire, so the wicked melt at thepresence of God.	2 Fammi salvo, Iddio; però che entrorono l'acque insino all' anima mia.
3 The upright rejoice in the presence of God, delighted and crying out for joy.	3 Son sommerso insino al luto del profondo; e non è sostanza. Per che nel profondo del mare sommersemi la tempesta.
4 Sing to God, play music to his name, build a road for the Rider of the Clouds, rejoice in Yahweh,dance before him.	4 M' affaticai gridando; sono fatto rauco; vennero a meno li occhii miei, sperando nell' Iddio mio.
5 Father of orphans, defender of widows, such is God in his holy dwel ing.	5 Quelli che mi hanno odiato senza cagione sono moltiplicati sopra li capelli del mio capo. Gli miei nemici, che mi hanno perseguitato ingiustamente, sono confortati; allora rendeva quelle cose che non ho tolto.
6 God gives the lonely a home to live in, leads prisoners out into prosperity, but rebels must live in thebare wastelands.	6 Tu sai, Iddio, la mia insipienza; da te non sono ascosti li miei delitti.
7 God, when you set out at the head of your people, when you strode over the desert,	7 Non si vergognino in me quelli che te aspettano, Signore, Signore delle virtù. Quelli che ti chiedono, Iddio d' Israel, non si confonderanno sopra di me.
8 the earth rocked,Pause the heavens pelted down rain at the presence of God, at the presence of God,the God of Israel.	8 Però [che] per te ho sostenuto la ingiuria; la confusione ha coperta la mia faccia.
9 God, you rained down a shower of blessings, when your heritage was weary you gave it strength.	9 Io sono fatto straniero da' miei fratelli, e come pellegrino da' figliuoli di mia madre.
10 Your family found a home, which you in your generosity provided for the humble.	10 Il zelo della tua casa mi ha inghiottito; e gli vituperii delli tuoi riprovatori cascorono sopra di me.
11 The Lord gave a command, the good news of a countless army.	11 E in digiuno io ho coperta l'anima mia; e a me è fatto in vituperio.
12 The chieftains of the army are in flight, in flight, and the fair one at home is sharing out the spoils.	12 E mi puosi il cilicio per vestimento; e a loro son fatto in proverbio.
13 While you are at ease in the sheepfolds, the wings of the Dove are being covered with silver, and herfeathers with a sheen of green gold;	13 Quelli che sedevano nella porta parlavano contra di me; e contra di me cantavano gli beventi il vino.
14 when Shaddai scatters the chieftains, through her it snows on the Dark Mountain.	14 Ma io a te, Signore, mando la mia orazione; egli è il tempo della riconciliazione, Iddio. Esaudi me nella molta tua misericordia, nella verità della [tua] salute.
15 A mountain of God, the mountain of Bashan! a haughty mountain, the mountain of Bashan!	15 Levami dal luto, acciò non mi profondi; libera me dalli miei odianti, e dalli profondi delle acque.
16 Why be envious, haughty mountains, of the mountain God has chosen for his dwel ing? There Godwil dwell for ever.	16 Non mi sommerga la tempesta delle acque, e il profondo non m' inghiottisca; e il pozzo non stringa la sua bocca sopra di me.
17 The chariots of God are thousand upon thousand; God has come from Sinai to the sanctuary.	17 Esaudi me, Signore, per che benigna è la tua misericordia; e risguarda in me secondo la moltitudine delle tue miserazioni.
18 You have climbed the heights, taken captives, you have taken men as tribute, even rebels thatYahweh God might have a dwelling-place.	18 E non rimuovere la faccia dal servo tuo; per che son tribulato, velocemente esaudi me.
19 Blessed be the Lord day after day, he carries us along, God our Saviour.Pause	19 Attendi all' anima mia, e liberala; per gli miei nemici libera me.
20 This God of ours is a God who saves; from Lord Yahweh comes escape from death;	20 Tu sai il mio improperio, e la mia confusione, e la mia reverenza.
21 but God smashes the head of his enemies, the long-haired skul of the prowling criminal.	21 Tutti che mi trìbulano sono nel tuo cospetto; il mio cuore ha aspettato l' improperio e la miseria. E aspettai chi meco si contristassero, e non furono; e non trovai chi me consolasse.
22 The Lord has said, 'I wil bring them back from Bashan, I wil bring them back from the depths of thesea,	22 E per mio cibo mi dettero il fiele; e abbeverorono la mia sete coll' aceto.
23 so that you may bathe your feet in blood, and the tongues of your dogs feast on your enemies.'	23 Sia fatta loro mensa dinanzi a loro in lacciuolo, e in retribuzioni e in scandalo.
24 Your processions, God, are for all to see, the processions of my God, of my king, to the sanctuary;	24 Accechinsi loro occhi acciò non vedano; e loro spalle sempre siano piegate.
25 singers ahead, musicians behind, in the middle come girls, beating their drums.	25 Spargi sopra loro l'ira tua; siano appresi dal furore della tua ira.
26 In choirs they bless God, Yahweh, since the foundation of Israel.	26 La loro abitazione sia fatta deserta; e non vi sia chi abiti ne' loro tabernacoli.
27 Benjamin was there, the youngest in front, the princes of Judah in bright-coloured robes, the princesof Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.	27 Imperò che hanno perseguitati quelli che hai percosso; e hanno aggiunto sopra il dolore delle mie ferite.
28 Take command, my God, as befits your power, the power, God, which you have wielded for us,	28 Giungi la iniquità sopra loro iniquità; e non entrino nella tua giustizia.
29 from your temple high above Jerusalem. Kings wil come to you bearing tribute.	29 Siano scancellati del libro de' viventi; e con li giusti non siano scritti.
30 Rebuke the Beast of the Reeds, that herd of bul s, that people of calves, who bow down with ingotsof silver. Scatter the people who delight in war.	30 Io son povero e dolente; la tua salute, Iddio, mi ha ricevuto.
31 From Egypt nobles wil come, Ethiopia wil stretch out its hands to God.	31 Loderò il nome di Dio con cantico; e magnificherollo colla lode.
32 Kingdoms of the earth, sing to God, play for	32 E a Dio piacerà più che il vitello giovincello, producente le corne e le ugne.
33 the Rider of the Heavens, the primeval heavens.Pause There he speaks, with a voice of power!	33 Vedano li poveri, e rallegrinsi; cercate Iddio, e viverà l' anima vostra.
34 Acknowledge the power of God. Over Israel his splendour, in the clouds his power.	34 Perche (etiam) il Signore ha udito li poveri; e non ha guardato li suoi nemici.
35 Awesome is God in his sanctuary. He, the God of Israel, gives strength and power to his people.Blessed be God.	35 Lodino quello li cieli e la terra, il mare e tutti loro rettili.
	36 Imperò [che] Dio farà salva Sion; ed edificheransi le città di Giuda. E ivi abiteranno, e acquisteranno quella per eredità.
	37 Il seme de' suoi servi possederà quella; e in quella abiteranno quelli che amano il nome suo.
