Psalms 107

1 Al eluia! Give thanks to Yahweh for he is good, his faithful love lasts for ever.	1 (106-1) Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его!
2 So let them say whom Yahweh redeemed, whom he redeemed from the power of their enemies,	2 (106-2) Так да скажут избавленные Господом, которых избавил Он от руки врага,
3 bringing them back from foreign lands, from east and west, north and south.	3 (106-3) и собрал от стран, от востока и запада, от севера и моря.
4 They were wandering in the desert, in the wastelands, could find no way to an inhabited city;	4 (106-4) Они блуждали в пустыне по безлюдному пути и не находили населенного города;
5 they were hungry and thirsty, their life was ebbing away.	5 (106-5) терпели голод и жажду, душа их истаевала в них.
6 They cried out to Yahweh in their distress, he rescued them from their plight,	6 (106-6) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он избавил их от бедствий их,
7 he set them on the road, straight to an inhabited city.	7 (106-7) и повел их прямым путем, чтобы они шли к населенному городу.
8 Let them thank Yahweh for his faithful love, for his wonders for the children of Adam!	8 (106-8) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
9 He has fed the hungry to their hearts' content, filled the starving with good things.	9 (106-9) ибо Он насытил душу жаждущую и душу алчущую исполнил благами.
10 Sojourners in gloom and shadow dark as death, fettered in misery and chains,	10 (106-10) Они сидели во тьме и тени смертной, окованные скорбью и железом;
11 for defying the orders of Yahweh, for scorning the plan of the Most High-	11 (106-11) ибо не покорялись словам Божиим и небрегли о воле Всевышнего.
12 he subdued their spirit by hard labour; if they fel there was no one to help.	12 (106-12) Он смирил сердце их работами; они преткнулись, и не было помогающего.
13 They cried out to Yahweh in their distress, he rescued them from their plight,	13 (106-13) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
14 he brought them out from gloom and shadow dark as death, and shattered their chains.	14 (106-14) вывел их из тьмы и тени смертной, и расторгнул узы их.
15 Let them thank Yahweh for his faithful love, for his wonders for the children of Adam!	15 (106-15) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
16 He broke open gates of bronze and smashed iron bars.	16 (106-16) ибо Он сокрушил врата медные и вереи железные сломил.
17 Fools for their rebellious ways, wretched because of their sins,	17 (106-17) Безрассудные страдали за беззаконные пути свои и за неправды свои;
18 finding all food repugnant, brought close to the gates of death-	18 (106-18) от всякой пищи отвращалась душа их, и они приближались ко вратам смерти.
19 they cried out to Yahweh in their distress; he rescued them from their plight,	19 (106-19) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
20 he sent out his word and cured them, and rescued their life from the abyss.	20 (106-20) послал слово Свое и исцелил их, и избавил их от могил их.
21 Let them thank Yahweh for his faithful love, for his wonders for the children of Adam!	21 (106-21) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
22 Let them offer thanksgiving sacrifices, and recount with shouts of joy what he has done!	22 (106-22) Да приносят Ему жертву хвалы и да возвещают о делах Его с пением!
23 Voyagers on the sea in ships, plying their trade on the great ocean,	23 (106-23) Отправляющиеся на кораблях в море, производящие дела на больших водах,
24 have seen the works of Yahweh, his wonders in the deep.	24 (106-24) видят дела Господа и чудеса Его в пучине:
25 By his word he raised a storm-wind, lashing up towering waves.	25 (106-25) Он речет, --и восстанет бурный ветер и высоко поднимает волны его:
26 Up to the sky then down to the depths! Their stomachs were turned to water;	26 (106-26) восходят до небес, нисходят до бездны; душа их истаевает в бедствии;
27 they staggered and reeled like drunkards, and al their skill went under.	27 (106-27) они кружатся и шатаются, как пьяные, и вся мудрость их исчезает.
28 They cried out to Yahweh in their distress, he rescued them from their plight,	28 (106-28) Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он вывел их из бедствия их.
29 he reduced the storm to a calm, and al the waters subsided,	29 (106-29) Он превращает бурю в тишину, и волны умолкают.
30 and he brought them, overjoyed at the stillness, to the port where they were bound.	30 (106-30) И веселятся, что они утихли, и Он приводит их к желаемой пристани.
31 Let them thank Yahweh for his faithful love, for his wonders for the children of Adam!	31 (106-31) Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
32 Let them extol him in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the council of elders.	32 (106-32) Да превозносят Его в собрании народном и да славят Его в сонме старейшин!
33 He has turned rivers into desert, bubbling springs into arid ground,	33 (106-33) Он превращает реки в пустыню и источники вод--в сушу,
34 fertile country into salt-flats, because the people living there were evil.	34 (106-34) землю плодородную--в солончатую, за нечестие живущих на ней.
35 But he has turned desert into stretches of water, arid ground into bubbling springs,	35 (106-35) Он превращает пустыню в озеро, и землю иссохшую--в источники вод;
36 and has given the hungry a home, where they have built themselves a city.	36 (106-36) и поселяет там алчущих, и они строят город для обитания;
37 There they sow fields and plant vines, and reap a harvest of their produce.	37 (106-37) засевают поля, насаждают виноградники, которые приносят им обильные плоды.
38 He blesses them and their numbers increase, he keeps their cattle at full strength.	38 (106-38) Он благословляет их, и они весьма размножаются, и скота их не умаляет.
39 Their numbers had fal en, they had grown weak, under pressure of disaster and hardship;	39 (106-39) Уменьшились они и упали от угнетения, бедствия и скорби, --
40 he covered princes in contempt, left them to wander in trackless wastes.	40 (106-40) он изливает бесчестие на князей и оставляет их блуждать в пустыне, где нет путей.
41 But the needy he raises from their misery, makes their families as numerous as sheep.	41 (106-41) Бедного же извлекает из бедствия и умножает род его, как стада овец.
42 At the sight the honest rejoice, and the wicked have nothing to say.	42 (106-42) Праведники видят сие и радуются, а всякое нечестие заграждает уста свои.
43 Who is wise? Such a one should take this to heart, and come to understand Yahweh's faithful love.	43 (106-43) Кто мудр, тот заметит сие и уразумеет милость Господа.
