2 My soul rests in God alone, from whom comes my salvation.	2 Solo in Dio riposa l'anima mia; da lui la mia salvezza.
3 God alone is my rock and salvation, my secure height; I shall never fall.	3 Lui solo è mia rupe e mia salvezza, mia roccia di difesa: non potrò vacillare.
4 How long will you set upon people, all of you beating them down, As though they were a sagging fence or a battered wall?	4 Fino a quando vi scaglierete contro un uomo, per abbatterlo tutti insieme, come muro cadente, come recinto che crolla?
5 Even from my place on high they plot to dislodge me. They delight in lies; they bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah	5 Tramano solo di precipitarlo dall'alto, si compiacciono della menzogna. Con la bocca benedicono, e maledicono nel loro cuore.
6 My soul, be at rest in God alone, from whom comes my hope.	6 Solo in Dio riposa l'anima mia, da lui la mia speranza.
7 God alone is my rock and my salvation, my secure height; I shall not fall.	7 Lui solo è mia rupe e mia salvezza, mia roccia di difesa: non potrò vacillare.
8 My safety and glory are with God, my strong rock and refuge.	8 In Dio è la mia salvezza e la mia gloria; il mio saldo rifugio, la mia difesa è in Dio.
9 Trust God at all times, my people! Pour out your hearts to God our refuge! Selah	9 Confida sempre in lui, o popolo, davanti a lui effondi il tuo cuore, nostro rifugio è Dio.
10 Mortals are a mere breath, the powerful but an illusion; On a balance they rise; together they are lighter than air.	10 Sì, sono un soffio i figli di Adamo, una menzogna tutti gli uomini, insieme, sulla bilancia, sono meno di un soffio.
11 Do not trust in extortion; in plunder put no empty hope. Though wealth increase, do not set your heart upon it.	11 Non confidate nella violenza, non illudetevi della rapina; alla ricchezza, anche se abbonda, non attaccate il cuore.
12 One thing God has said; two things I have heard: Power belongs to God;	12 Una parola ha detto Dio, due ne ho udite: il potere appartiene a Dio, tua, Signore, è la grazia;
13 3) so too, Lord, does kindness, And you render to each of us according to our deeds.	13 secondo le sue opere tu ripaghi ogni uomo.
