1 A psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S and all it holds, the world and those who live there.	1 [Ein Psalm Davids.] Dem Herrn gehört die Erde und was sie erfüllt, der Erdkreis und seine Bewohner.
2 For God founded it on the seas, established it over the rivers.	2 Denn er hat ihn auf Meere gegründet, ihn über Strömen befestigt.
3 Who may go up the mountain of the LORD? Who can stand in his holy place?	3 Wer darf hinaufziehn zum Berg des Herrn, wer darf stehn an seiner heiligen Stätte?
4 "The clean of hand and pure of heart, who are not devoted to idols, who have not sworn falsely.	4 Der reine Hände hat und ein lauteres Herz, der nicht betrügt und keinen Meineid schwört.
5 They will receive blessings from the LORD, and justice from their saving God.	5 Er wird Segen empfangen vom Herrn und Heil von Gott, seinem Helfer.

7 Lift up your heads, O gates; rise up, you ancient portals, that the king of glory may enter.	7 Ihr Tore, hebt euch nach oben, hebt euch, ihr uralten Pforten; denn es kommt der König der Herrlichkeit.
8 Who is this king of glory? The LORD, a mighty warrior, the LORD, mighty in battle.	8 Wer ist der König der Herrlichkeit? Der Herr, stark und gewaltig, der Herr, mächtig im Kampf.
9 Lift up your heads, O gates; rise up, you ancient portals, that the king of glory may enter.	9 Ihr Tore, hebt euch nach oben, hebt euch, ihr uralten Pforten; denn es kommt der König der Herrlichkeit.
