2 LORD, deliver me from lying lips, from treacherous tongues.	2 Signore, libera la mia vitadalle labbra bugiarde,dalla lingua ingannatrice.
3 What will the Lord inflict on you, O treacherous tongue, and what more besides?	3 Che cosa ti darà,come ti ripagherà,o lingua ingannatrice?
4 A warrior's sharpened arrows and fiery coals of brush wood!	4 Frecce acute di un prodecon braci ardenti di ginestra!
5 Alas, I was an alien in Meshech, I lived near the tents of Kedar!	5 Ahimè, io abito straniero in Mesec,dimoro fra le tende di Kedar!
6 Too long did I live among those who hated peace.	6 Troppo tempo ho abitatocon chi detesta la pace.
7 When I spoke of peace, they were for war.	7 Io sono per la pace,ma essi, appena parlo,sono per la guerra.
