και εξηγαγεν με εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν κατα ανατολας κατεναντι της πυλης της προς βορραν και εισηγαγεν με και ιδου εξεδραι πεντε εχομεναι του απολοιπου και εχομεναι του διοριζοντος προς βορραν1 And he led me into the outer court by the way that leads to the north, and he led me into the storeroom that was opposite the separate edifice, and opposite the shrine that verges toward the north.
επι πηχεις εκατον μηκος προς βορραν και το πλατος πεντηκοντα πηχεων2 The length of the face of the north gate was one hundred cubits, and the width was fifty cubits.
διαγεγραμμεναι ον τροπον αι πυλαι της αυλης της εσωτερας και ον τροπον τα περιστυλα της αυλης της εξωτερας εστιχισμεναι αντιπροσωποι στοαι τρισσαι3 Opposite the twenty cubits of the interior court, and opposite the layer of pavement stones in the outer court, in that place, there was a portico joined to a triple portico.
και κατεναντι των εξεδρων περιπατος πηχων δεκα το πλατος επι πηχεις εκατον το μηκος και τα θυρωματα αυτων προς βορραν4 And before the storerooms, there was a walkway of ten cubits in width, looking toward the interior along a way of one cubit. And their doors were toward the north.
και οι περιπατοι οι υπερωοι ωσαυτως οτι εξειχετο το περιστυλον εξ αυτου εκ του υποκατωθεν περιστυλου και το διαστημα ουτως περιστυλον και διαστημα και ουτως στοαι5 In that place, there were storerooms in the upper part of the lower level. For they supported the porticos, which projected from them out of the lower level, and out of the middle of the building.
διοτι τριπλαι ησαν και στυλους ουκ ειχον καθως οι στυλοι των εξωτερων δια τουτο εξειχοντο των υποκατωθεν και των μεσων απο της γης6 For they were of three levels, and they did not have pillars, as they were like the pillars of the courts. Because of this, they projected from the lower levels and from the middle, fifty cubits from the ground.
και φως εξωθεν ον τροπον αι εξεδραι της αυλης της εξωτερας αι βλεπουσαι απεναντι των εξεδρων των προς βορραν μηκος πηχεων πεντηκοντα7 And the exterior enclosing wall, adjacent to the storerooms that were along the way of the exterior court in front of the storerooms, was fifty cubits long.
οτι το μηκος των εξεδρων των βλεπουσων εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν πηχων πεντηκοντα και αυται εισιν αντιπροσωποι ταυταις το παν πηχων εκατον8 For the length of the storerooms of the exterior court was fifty cubits, and the length before the face of the temple was one hundred cubits.
και αι θυραι των εξεδρων τουτων της εισοδου της προς ανατολας του εισπορευεσθαι δι' αυτων εκ της αυλης της εξωτερας9 And under these storerooms, there was an entrance from the east, for those who were entering into it from the outer court.
κατα το φως του εν αρχη περιπατου και τα προς νοτον κατα προσωπον του νοτου κατα προσωπον του απολοιπου και κατα προσωπον του διοριζοντος εξεδραι10 In the width of the enclosing wall of the court that was opposite the way of the east, at the face of the separate edifice, there were also storerooms, before the edifice.
και ο περιπατος κατα προσωπον αυτων κατα τα μετρα των εξεδρων των προς βορραν και κατα το μηκος αυτων και κατα το ευρος αυτων και κατα πασας τας εξοδους αυτων και κατα πασας τας επιστροφας αυτων και κατα τα φωτα αυτων και κατα τα θυρωματα αυτων11 And the way before their face was in accord with the form of the storerooms which were along the way of the north. As was their length, so also was their width. And the entire entrance, and the likenesses, and their doors
των εξεδρων των προς νοτον και κατα τα θυρωματα απ' αρχης του περιπατου ως επι φως διαστηματος καλαμου και κατ' ανατολας του εισπορευεσθαι δι' αυτων12 were in accord with the doors of the storerooms that were on the way looking toward the Renown. There was a door at the head of the way, and the way was before a separate vestibule, along the way entering toward the east.
και ειπεν προς με αι εξεδραι αι προς βορραν και αι εξεδραι αι προς νοτον αι ουσαι κατα προσωπον των διαστηματων αυται εισιν αι εξεδραι του αγιου εν αις φαγονται εκει οι ιερεις υιοι σαδδουκ οι εγγιζοντες προς κυριον τα αγια των αγιων και εκει θησουσιν τα αγια των αγιων και την θυσιαν και τα περι αμαρτιας και τα περι αγνοιας διοτι ο τοπος αγιος13 And he said to me: “The storerooms of the north, and the storerooms of the south, which are before the separate edifice, these are holy storerooms, in which the priests, who draw near to the Lord in the Holy of Holies, shall eat. There they shall station the Holy of Holies, and the offering for sin, and for trespasses. For it is a holy place.
ουκ εισελευσονται εκει παρεξ των ιερεων ουκ εξελευσονται εκ του αγιου εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν οπως δια παντος αγιοι ωσιν οι προσαγοντες και μη απτωνται του στολισμου αυτων εν οις λειτουργουσιν εν αυτοις διοτι αγια εστιν και ενδυσονται ιματια ετερα οταν απτωνται του λαου14 And when the priests will have entered, they shall not depart from the holy places into the outer court. And in that place, they shall set their vestments, in which they minister, for they are holy. And they shall be clothed with other vestments, and in this manner they shall go forth to the people.”
και συνετελεσθη η διαμετρησις του οικου εσωθεν και εξηγαγεν με καθ' οδον της πυλης της βλεπουσης προς ανατολας και διεμετρησεν το υποδειγμα του οικου κυκλοθεν εν διαταξει15 And when he had completed measuring the inner house, he led me out along the way of the gate that looked toward the way of the east. And he measured it on every side all around.
και εστη κατα νωτου της πυλης της βλεπουσης κατα ανατολας και διεμετρησεν πεντακοσιους εν τω καλαμω του μετρου16 Then he measured facing the east wind with the measuring reed: five hundred reeds with the measuring reed throughout the course.
και επεστρεψεν προς βορραν και διεμετρησεν το κατα προσωπον του βορρα πηχεις πεντακοσιους εν τω καλαμω του μετρου17 And he measured facing the wind of the north: five hundred reeds with the measuring reed throughout the course.
και επεστρεψεν προς θαλασσαν και διεμετρησεν το κατα προσωπον της θαλασσης πεντακοσιους εν τω καλαμω του μετρου18 And toward the south wind, he measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed throughout the course.
και επεστρεψεν προς νοτον και διεμετρησεν κατεναντι του νοτου πεντακοσιους εν τω καλαμω του μετρου19 And toward the west wind, he measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
τα τεσσαρα μερη του αυτου καλαμου και διεταξεν αυτον και περιβολον αυτων κυκλω πεντακοσιων προς ανατολας και πεντακοσιων πηχων ευρος του διαστελλειν ανα μεσον των αγιων και ανα μεσον του προτειχισματος του εν διαταξει του οικου20 By the four winds, he measured its wall, on every side throughout the course: five hundred cubits in length and five hundred cubits in width, dividing between the sanctuary and the place of the common people.
