LXXNEW AMERICAN BIBLE
δια σιων ου σιωπησομαι και δια ιερουσαλημ ουκ ανησω εως αν εξελθη ως φως η δικαιοσυνη μου το δε σωτηριον μου ως λαμπας καυθησεται1 For Zion's sake I will not be silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet, Until her vindication shines forth like the dawn and her victory like a burning torch.
και οψονται εθνη την δικαιοσυνην σου και βασιλεις την δοξαν σου και καλεσει σε το ονομα σου το καινον ο ο κυριος ονομασει αυτο2 Nations shall behold your vindication, and all kings your glory; You shall be called by a new name pronounced by the mouth of the LORD.
και εση στεφανος καλλους εν χειρι κυριου και διαδημα βασιλειας εν χειρι θεου σου3 You shall be a glorious crown in the hand of the LORD, a royal diadem held by your God.
και ουκετι κληθηση καταλελειμμενη και η γη σου ου κληθησεται ερημος σοι γαρ κληθησεται θελημα εμον και τη γη σου οικουμενη4 No more shall men call you "Forsaken," or your land "Desolate," But you shall be called "My Delight," and your land "Espoused." For the LORD delights in you, and makes your land his spouse.
και ως συνοικων νεανισκος παρθενω ουτως κατοικησουσιν οι υιοι σου μετα σου και εσται ον τροπον ευφρανθησεται νυμφιος επι νυμφη ουτως ευφρανθησεται κυριος επι σοι5 As a young man marries a virgin, your Builder shall marry you; And as a bridegroom rejoices in his bride so shall your God rejoice in you.
και επι των τειχεων σου ιερουσαλημ κατεστησα φυλακας ολην την ημεραν και ολην την νυκτα οι δια τελους ου σιωπησονται μιμνησκομενοι κυριου6 Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, I have stationed watchmen; Never, by day or by night, shall they be silent. O you who are to remind the LORD, take no rest
ουκ εστιν γαρ υμιν ομοιος εαν διορθωση και ποιηση ιερουσαλημ αγαυριαμα επι της γης7 And give no rest to him, until he re-establishes Jerusalem And makes of it the pride of the earth.
ωμοσεν κυριος κατα της δεξιας αυτου και κατα της ισχυος του βραχιονος αυτου ει ετι δωσω τον σιτον σου και τα βρωματα σου τοις εχθροις σου και ει ετι πιονται υιοι αλλοτριοι τον οινον σου εφ' ω εμοχθησας8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: No more will I give your grain as food to your enemies; Nor shall foreigners drink your wine, for which you toiled.
αλλ' η οι συναγοντες φαγονται αυτα και αινεσουσιν κυριον και οι συναγοντες πιονται αυτα εν ταις επαυλεσιν ταις αγιαις μου9 But you who harvest the grain shall eat it, and you shall praise the LORD; You who gather the grapes shall drink the wine in the courts of my sanctuary.
πορευεσθε δια των πυλων μου και οδοποιησατε τω λαω μου και τους λιθους τους εκ της οδου διαρριψατε εξαρατε συσσημον εις τα εθνη10 Pass through, pass through the gates, prepare the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway, clear it of stones, raise up a standard over the nations.
ιδου γαρ κυριος εποιησεν ακουστον εως εσχατου της γης ειπατε τη θυγατρι σιων ιδου σοι ο σωτηρ παραγινεται εχων τον εαυτου μισθον και το εργον προ προσωπου αυτου11 See, the LORD proclaims to the ends of the earth: Say to daughter Zion, your savior comes! Here is his reward with him, his recompense before him.
και καλεσει αυτον λαον αγιον λελυτρωμενον υπο κυριου συ δε κληθηση επιζητουμενη πολις και ουκ εγκαταλελειμμενη12 They shall be called the holy people, the redeemed of the LORD, And you shall be called "Frequented," a city that is not forsaken.
