1 εις το τελος υπερ της αντιλημψεως της εωθινης ψαλμος τω δαυιδ	1 Unto the end. For the tasks of early morning. A Psalm of David.
2 ο θεος ο θεος μου προσχες μοι ινα τι εγκατελιπες με μακραν απο της σωτηριας μου οι λογοι των παραπτωματων μου	2 O God, my God, look upon me. Why have you forsaken me? Far from my salvation are the words of my offenses.
3 ο θεος μου κεκραξομαι ημερας και ουκ εισακουση και νυκτος και ουκ εις ανοιαν εμοι	3 My God, I will cry out by day, and you will not heed, and by night, and it will not be foolishness for me.
4 συ δε εν αγιοις κατοικεις ο επαινος ισραηλ	4 But you dwell in holiness, O Praise of Israel.
5 επι σοι ηλπισαν οι πατερες ημων ηλπισαν και ερρυσω αυτους	5 In you, our fathers have hoped. They hoped, and you freed them.
6 προς σε εκεκραξαν και εσωθησαν επι σοι ηλπισαν και ου κατησχυνθησαν	6 They cried out to you, and they were saved. In you, they hoped and were not confounded.
7 εγω δε ειμι σκωληξ και ουκ ανθρωπος ονειδος ανθρωπου και εξουδενημα λαου	7 But I am a worm and not a man: a disgrace among men, and an outcast of the people.
8 παντες οι θεωρουντες με εξεμυκτηρισαν με ελαλησαν εν χειλεσιν εκινησαν κεφαλην	8 All those who saw me have derided me. They have spoken with the lips and shook the head.
9 ηλπισεν επι κυριον ρυσασθω αυτον σωσατω αυτον οτι θελει αυτον	9 He has hoped in the Lord, let him rescue him. Let him save him because he chooses him.
10 οτι συ ει ο εκσπασας με εκ γαστρος η ελπις μου απο μαστων της μητρος μου	10 For you are the one who has drawn me out of the womb, my hope from the breasts of my mother.
11 επι σε επερριφην εκ μητρας εκ κοιλιας μητρος μου θεος μου ει συ	11 I have been thrown upon you from the womb; from the womb of my mother, you are my God.
12 μη αποστης απ' εμου οτι θλιψις εγγυς οτι ουκ εστιν ο βοηθων	12 Do not depart from me. For tribulation is near, since there is no one who may help me.
13 περιεκυκλωσαν με μοσχοι πολλοι ταυροι πιονες περιεσχον με	13 Many calves have surrounded me; fat bulls have besieged me.
14 ηνοιξαν επ' εμε το στομα αυτων ως λεων ο αρπαζων και ωρυομενος	14 They have opened their mouths over me, just like a lion seizing and roaring.
15 ωσει υδωρ εξεχυθην και διεσκορπισθη παντα τα οστα μου εγενηθη η καρδια μου ωσει κηρος τηκομενος εν μεσω της κοιλιας μου	15 And so, I have been poured out like water, and all my bones have been scattered. My heart has become like wax, melting in the midst of my chest.
16 εξηρανθη ως οστρακον η ισχυς μου και η γλωσσα μου κεκολληται τω λαρυγγι μου και εις χουν θανατου κατηγαγες με	16 My strength has dried up like clay, and my tongue has adhered to my jaws. And you have pulled me down, into the dust of death.
17 οτι εκυκλωσαν με κυνες πολλοι συναγωγη πονηρευομενων περιεσχον με ωρυξαν χειρας μου και ποδας	17 For many dogs have surrounded me. The council of the malicious has besieged me. They have pierced my hands and feet.
18 εξηριθμησα παντα τα οστα μου αυτοι δε κατενοησαν και επειδον με	18 They have numbered all my bones. And they have examined me and stared at me.
19 διεμερισαντο τα ιματια μου εαυτοις και επι τον ιματισμον μου εβαλον κληρον	19 They divided my garments among them, and over my vestment, they cast lots.
20 συ δε κυριε μη μακρυνης την βοηθειαν μου εις την αντιλημψιν μου προσχες	20 But you, O Lord, do not take your help far from me; be attentive to my defense.
21 ρυσαι απο ρομφαιας την ψυχην μου και εκ χειρος κυνος την μονογενη μου	21 O God, rescue my soul from the spear, and my only one from the hand of the dog.
22 σωσον με εκ στοματος λεοντος και απο κερατων μονοκερωτων την ταπεινωσιν μου	22 Save me from the mouth of the lion, and my humility from the horns of single-horned beast.
23 διηγησομαι το ονομα σου τοις αδελφοις μου εν μεσω εκκλησιας υμνησω σε	23 I will declare your name to my brothers. In the midst of the Church, I will praise you.
24 οι φοβουμενοι κυριον αινεσατε αυτον απαν το σπερμα ιακωβ δοξασατε αυτον φοβηθητωσαν αυτον απαν το σπερμα ισραηλ	24 You who fear the Lord, praise him. All the offspring of Jacob, glorify him.
25 οτι ουκ εξουδενωσεν ουδε προσωχθισεν τη δεησει του πτωχου ουδε απεστρεψεν το προσωπον αυτου απ' εμου και εν τω κεκραγεναι με προς αυτον εισηκουσεν μου	25 May all the offspring of Israel fear him. For he has neither spurned nor despised the pleas of the poor. Neither has he turned his face away from me. And when I cried out to him, he heeded me.
26 παρα σου ο επαινος μου εν εκκλησια μεγαλη τας ευχας μου αποδωσω ενωπιον των φοβουμενων αυτον	26 My praise is with you, within a great church. I will pay my vows in the sight of those who fear him.
27 φαγονται πενητες και εμπλησθησονται και αινεσουσιν κυριον οι εκζητουντες αυτον ζησονται αι καρδιαι αυτων εις αιωνα αιωνος	27 The poor will eat and be satisfied, and those who yearn for the Lord will praise him. Their hearts will live forever and ever.
28 μνησθησονται και επιστραφησονται προς κυριον παντα τα περατα της γης και προσκυνησουσιν ενωπιον σου πασαι αι πατριαι των εθνων	28 All the ends of the earth will remember, and they will be converted to the Lord. And all the families of the Gentiles will adore in his sight.
29 οτι του κυριου η βασιλεια και αυτος δεσποζει των εθνων	29 For the kingdom belongs to the Lord, and he will have dominion over the Gentiles.
30 εφαγον και προσεκυνησαν παντες οι πιονες της γης ενωπιον αυτου προπεσουνται παντες οι καταβαινοντες εις την γην και η ψυχη μου αυτω ζη	30 All the fat of the earth have gnashed their teeth, and they have adored. In his sight, they will fall down, all those who descend to the ground.
31 και το σπερμα μου δουλευσει αυτω αναγγελησεται τω κυριω γενεα η ερχομενη	31 And my soul will live for him, and my offspring will serve him.
32 και αναγγελουσιν την δικαιοσυνην αυτου λαω τω τεχθησομενω οτι εποιησεν ο κυριος	32 There will be announced for the Lord a future generation, and the heavens will announce his justice to a people who will be born, whom the Lord has made.
