1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.	1 - Alleluia! Lodate il Signore, chè bello è l'inneggiare; al nostro Dio si dia dolce e convenevol lode.
2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.	2 Riedifica il Signore Gerusalemme, i dispersi d'Israele raduna.
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.	3 Egli è che risana quei che hanno il cuore infranto, e fascia le lor piaghe,
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.	4 che conta il numero delle stelle, e a tutte dà un nome.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:	5 Grande è il Signore nostro e vasta la sua potenza, e della sapienza di lui non v'ha misura.
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:	6 Sostiene i miti il Signore, umilia gli empi sino a terra.
7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:	7 Cantate al Signore un canto di lode [e di ringraziamento], inneggiate al nostro Iddio sulla cetra.
8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:	8 Egli è che ricopre il cielo di nubie prepara alla terra la pioggia. Egli è che produce il fieno sui montie l'erba a servizio degli uomini,
9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.	9 che dà il loro cibo alle bestie e ai piccini del corvo che gridano a lui.
10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.	10 Non nella robustezza del destriero prova egli piacere, né degli stinchi dell'uomo si compiace;
	11 ma si compiace il Signore di quei che lo temono, e di quei che sperano nella sua misericordia.
