2 May God have mercy on us, and bless us: may he cause the light of his countenance to shine upon us, and may he have mercy on us.	2 Sia Dio benevolo verso di noi e ci benedica, faccia splendere il suo volto su di noi,
3 That we may know thy way upon earth: thy salvation in all nations.	3 affinché si conosca sulla terra la tua via, fra tutte le genti la tua salvezza.
4 Let people confess to thee, O God: let all people give praise to thee.	4 Ti lodino i popoli, o Dio, ti lodino i popoli tutti.
5 Let the nations be glad and rejoice: for thou judgest the people with justice, and directest the nations upon earth.	5 Esultino e gridino di gioia le nazioni, perché tu giudichi i popoli con equità e le nazioni della terra tu conduci.
6 Let the people, O God, confess to thee: let all the people give praise to thee:	6 Ti lodino i popoli, o Dio, ti lodino i popoli tutti.
7 the earth hath yielded her fruit. May God, our God bless us,	7 La terra ha dato il suo frutto: ci benedica Dio, il nostro Dio.
8 may God bless us: and all the ends of the earth fear him.	8 Ci benedica Dio, affinché lo temano tutti i confini della terra.
