1 Unto the end, a psalm for David himself.	1 Kierownikowi chóru. Psalm. Dawidowy.
2 Blessed is he that understandeth concerning the needy and the poor : the Lord will deliver him in the evil day.	2 Szczęśliwy ten, kto myśli o biednym i o nędzarzu, w dniu nieszczęścia Pan go ocali.
3 The Lord preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth : and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies.	3 Pan go ustrzeże, zachowa przy życiu, uczyni szczęśliwym na ziemi i nie wyda go wściekłości jego wrogów.
4 The Lord help him on his bed of sorrow : thou hast turned all his couch in his sickness.	4 Pan go pokrzepi na łożu boleści: podczas choroby poprawi całe jego posłanie.
5 I said: O Lord, be thou merciful to me : heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee.	5 Mówię: O Panie, zmiłuj się nade mną; uzdrów mnie, bo zgrzeszyłem przeciw Tobie!
6 My enemies have spoken evils against me: when shall he die and his name perish?	6 Nieprzyjaciele moi mówią o mnie złośliwie: Kiedyż on umrze i zginie jego imię?
7 And if he came in to see me, he spoke vain things : his heart gathered together iniquity to itself. He went out and spoke to the same purpose.	7 A jeśli przychodzi któryś odwiedzić, mówi puste słowa, w sercu swym złość gromadzi, a skoro wyjdzie za drzwi, wypowiada ją.
8 All my enemies whispered together against me : they devised evils to me.	8 Szepcą przeciw mnie wszyscy, co mnie nienawidzą i obmyślają moją zgubę:
9 They determined against me an unjust word : shall he that sleepeth rise again no more?	9 Zaraza złośliwa nim zawładnęła i Już nie wstanie ten, co się położył.
10 For even the man of peace, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, hath greatly supplanted me.	10 Nawet mój przyjaciel, któremu ufałem i który chleb mój jadł, podniósł na mnie piętę.
11 But thou, O Lord, have mercy on me, and raise me up again : and I will requite them.	11 Ale Ty, Panie, zmiłuj się nade mną i dźwignij mnie, abym im odpłacił.
12 By this I know, that thou hast had a good will for me : because my enemy shall not rejoice over me.	12 Po tym poznam, żeś dla mnie łaskawy, że mój wróg nie odniesie nade mną triumfu.
13 But thou hast upheld me by reason of my innocence : and hast established me in thy sight for ever.	13 A Ty mnie podtrzymasz dzięki mej prawości i umieścisz na wieki przed Twoim obliczem.
14 Blessed by the Lord the God of Israel from eternity to eternity. So be it. So be it.	14 Błogosławiony Pan, Bóg Izraela, od wieku aż po wiek! Amen, amen.
