EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 ¡Aleluya! Alaben, servidores del Señor, alaben el nombre del Señor.	1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.
2 Bendito sea el nombre del Señor, desde ahora y para siempre.	2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.
3 Desde la salida del sol hasta su ocaso, sea alabado el nombre del Señor.	3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.
4 El Señor está sobre todas las naciones, su gloria se eleva sobre el cielo,	4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.
5 ¿Quién es como el Señor, nuestro Dios, que tiene su morada en las alturas,	5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:
6 y se inclina para contemplar el cielo y la tierra?	6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?
7 El levanta del polvo al desvalido, alza al pobre de su miseria,	7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::
8 para hacerlo sentar entre los nobles, entre los nobles y su pueblo;	8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.
9 él honra a la mujer estéril en su hogar, haciendo de ella una madre feliz.	9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.
