Salmos 64

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Del maestro de coro. Salmo. De David.	1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Listen, God, to my voice as I plead, protect my life from fear ofthe enemy;
2 Escucha, oh Dios, la voz de mi gemido, del terror del enemigo guarda mi vida;	2 hide me from the league of the wicked, from the gang of evil-doers.
3 ocúltame a la pandilla de malvados, a la turba de los agentes de mal.	3 They sharpen their tongues like a sword, aim their arrows of poisonous abuse,
4 Los que afilan su lengua como espada, su flecha apuntan, palabra envenenada,	4 shoot at the innocent from cover, shoot suddenly, with nothing to fear.
5 para tirar a escondidas contra el íntegro, le tiran de improviso y nada temen.	5 They support each other in their evil designs, they discuss how to lay their snares. 'Who wil see us?'they say,
6 Se envalentonan en su acción malvada, calculan para tender lazos ocultos, dicen: «¿Quién lo observará	6 'or wil penetrate our secrets?' He wil do that, he who penetrates human nature to its depths, thedepths of the heart.
7 y escrutará nuestros secretos?» El los escruta, aquel que escruta lo íntimo del hombre, el corazón profundo.	7 God has shot them with his arrow, sudden were their wounds.
8 Una saeta ha tirado Dios, repentinas han sido sus heridas;	8 He brings them down because of their tongue, and al who see them shake their heads.
9 les ha hecho caer por causa de su lengua, menean la cabeza todos los que los ven.	9 Everyone wil be awestruck, proclaim what God has done, and understand why he has done it.
10 Todo hombre temerá. anunciará la obra de Dios y su acción comprenderá.	10 The upright wil rejoice in Yahweh, wil take refuge in him, and al the honest wil praise him.
11 El justo se alegrará en Yahveh, en él tendrá cobijo; y se gloriarán todos los de recto corazón.
