BIBLIA	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 De David Alef. A ti, Yahveh, levanto mi alma,	1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
2 oh Dios mío. Bet. En ti confío, ¡no sea confundido, no triunfen de mí mis enemigos!	2 In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.
3 Guimel. No hay confusión para el que espera en ti, confusión sólo para el que traiciona sin motivo.	3 Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.
4 Dálet. Muéstrame tus caminos, Yahveh, enséñame tus sendas.	4 Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.
5 He. Guíame en tu verdad, enséñame, que tú eres el Dios de mi salvación. (Vau) En ti estoy esperando todo el día,	5 Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.
6 Zain. Acuérdate, Yahveh, de tu ternura, y de tu amor, que son de siempre.	6 Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world.
7 Jet. De los pecados de mi juventud no te acuerdes, pero según tu amor, acuérdate de mí. por tu bondad, Yahveh.	7 The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.
8 Tet. Bueno y recto es Yahveh; por eso muestra a los pecadores el camino;	8 The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.
9 Yod. conduce en la justicia a los humildes, y a los pobres enseña su sendero.	9 He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.
10 Kaf. Todas las sendas de Yahveh son amor y verdad para quien guarda su alianza y sus dictámenes.	10 All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
11 Lámed. Por tu nombre, oh Yahveh, perdona mi culpa, porque es grande.	11 For thy name's sake, O Lord, thou wilt pardon my sin: for it is great.
12 Mem. Si hay un hombre que tema a Yahveh, él le indica el camino a seguir;	12 Who is the man that feareth the Lord? He hath appointed him a law in the way he hath chosen.
13 Nun. su alma mora en la felicidad, y su estirpe poseerá la tierra.	13 His soul shall dwell in good things: and his seed shall inherit the land.
14 Sámek. El secreto de Yahveh es para quienes le temen, su alianza, para darles cordura.	14 The Lord is a firmament to them that fear him: and his covenant shall be made manifest to them.
15 Ain. Mis ojos están fijos en Yahveh, que él sacará mis pies del cepo.	15 My eyes are ever towards the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the snare.
16 Pe. Vuélvete a mí, tenme piedad, que estoy solo y desdichado.	16 Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.
17 Sade. Alivia los ahogos de mi corazón, hazme salir de mis angustias.	17 The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from my necessities.
18 (Qof.) Ve mi aflicción y mi penar, quita todos mis pecados.	18 See my abjection and my labour; and forgive me all my sins.
19 Res. Mira cuántos son mis enemigos, cuán violento el odio que me tienen.	19 Consider my enemies for they are multiplied, and have hated me with an unjust hatred.
20 Sin. Garda mi alma, líbrame, no quede confundido, cuando en ti me cobijo.	20 Keep thou my soul, and deliver me: I shall not be ashamed, for I have hoped in thee.
21 Tau. Inocencia y rectitud me amparen, que en ti espero, Yahveh.	21 The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I have waited on thee.
22 Redime, oh Dios, a Israel de todas sus angustias.	22 Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
