1 Nella fine salmo di David per l'ottavo dì.	1 Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave.
2 Signore, non mi riprendere nel tuo furore; e non mi castigare nella tua ira.	2 O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath.
3 Abbi misericordia di me, Signore, però ch' io sono infermo; sana me, Signore, però che conturbate sono l'ossa mie.	3 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled.
4 E l'anima mia è turbata molto; ma tu, Signore, sino a quando mi soccorrerai?	4 And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long?
5 Volgiti a me, Signore, e delibera l'anima mia; e fammi salvo per la tua misericordia.	5 Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy's sake.
6 Però che nella dannazione non è chi si ricorda di te; e nello inferno chi ti confesserà?	6 For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?
7 Io mi son afflitto nel mio pianto; e laverò ciascuna notte il mio letto; colle mie lacrime bagnerò quello.	7 I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears.
8 Turbato è l'occhio mio dal furore; invecchiato sono fra li miei nemici.	8 My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.
9 Partitevi da me, voi che adoperate iniquitade; però che il Signore hae esaudito la voce del mio pianto.	9 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.
10 Lo Signore hae esaudito il mio priego, e hae ricevuta la mia orazione.	10 The Lord hath heard my supplication: the Lord hath received my prayer.
11 Vergogninsi, e con veemenza siano conturbati tutti gl' inimici miei; convertansi, e vergogninsi molto velocemente.	11 Let all my enemies be ashamed, and be very much troubled: let them be turned back, and be ashamed very speedily.
