1 Corinthians 16

1 Now concerning the collections which are made for the saints: just as I have arranged for the churches of Galatia, so should it also be done with you.	1 Delle collette, le quali si fanno intra santi, così ne fate voi, secondo che io ordinai nelle Chiese di Galazia,
2 On the first day of the week, the Sabbath, let each one of you take from himself, setting aside what will be well-pleasing to him, so that when I arrive, the collections will not have to be made then.	2 per ciascuno sabbato ciascuno di voi appo sè stesso riponga (e raguni) quello che a lui piace, acciò che non si facciano collette quando io verrò.
3 And when I am present, whomever you shall approve through letters, these I shall send to bear your gifts to Jerusalem.	3 E quando sarò presente con voi, coloro li quali voi vorrete, per portare in Ierusalem quello che voi vorrete mandare, sì mandaremo con mie lettere.
4 And if it is fitting for me to go too, they shall go with me.	4 E se sarà bisogno che io vada con loro, sì anderò.
5 Now I will visit you after I have passed through Macedonia. For I will pass through Macedonia.	5 Ma verrò a voi, quando passarò per Macedonia; perciò ch' io passarò per Macedonia.
6 And perhaps I will stay with you, and even spend the winter, so that you may lead me on my way, whenever I depart.	6 E forse per ventura con voi dimorerò, e averò a vernare, perchè voi mi meniate là dove io, debbo andare.
7 For I am not willing to see you now only in passing, since I hope that I may remain with you for some length of time, if the Lord permits.	7 Non vi voglio vedere ora in questo passaggio; chè ho speranza di dimorare con voi alquanto tempo, se il Signore il permetterà.
8 But I must remain at Ephesus, even until Pentecost.	8 Dimorerò in Efeso insino a Pentecoste.
9 For a door, great and unavoidable, has opened to me, as well as many adversaries.	9 Chè una porta grande sì m' è palese e aperta (di tribulazione); e avversarii son molti (apparecchiati).
10 Now if Timothy arrives, see to it that he may be among you without fear. For he is doing the work of the Lord, just as I also do.	10 E se Timoteo viene, studiate sì come egli stia (sicuro e) senza paura appo voi; chè egli adopera l'operazione di Dio, sì come io.
11 Therefore, let no one despise him. Instead, lead him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me. For I am awaiting him with the brothers.	11 Adunque niuno non l'abbia in dispetto; ma menatelo (sicuro e) in pace, che vegna a me; chè io l'aspetto con li fratelli.
12 But concerning our brother, Apollo, I am letting you know that I pleaded with him greatly to go to you with the brothers, and clearly it was not his will to go at this time. But he will arrive when there is a space of time for him.	12 Ma del fratello nostro Apollo sì vi faccio manifesto, che io il pregai molto che venisse a voi colli fratelli; ma certo non fu di sua volontà di venire ora, ma egli verrà quando gli verrà comodo e in acconcio.
13 Be vigilant. Stand with faith. Act manfully and be strengthened.	13 Vegliate, e state nella fede; lavorate di forza, e confortatevi (nel Signore).
14 Let all that is yours be immersed in charity.	14 E tutte le vostre cose siano in carità.
15 And I beg you, brothers: You know the house of Stephanus, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints.	15 Pregovi; voi cognoscete la casa di Stefana e di Fortunato e di Acaico, e come son li primi che credettero nella provincia di Acaia, e ordinarono sè medesimi nel servigio de' santi;
16 So you should be subject also to persons such as this, as well as to all who are cooperating and working with them.	16 che voi siate sudditi (e amatori) a quelli tali, e a tutti coloro che aiutano e lavorano (nell' opera di Dio).
17 Now I rejoice in the presence of Stephanus and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because what was lacking in you, they have supplied.	17 Io ebbi allegrezza della presenza di Stefana e di Fortunato e di Acaico; imperò ch' eglino compirono quello che venia meno a voi;
18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore, recognize persons such as this.	18 e recrearono il mio spirito e spirito e il vostro. Adunque conoscete (e amate) quelli tali.
19 The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you greatly in the Lord, with the church of their household, where I also am a guest.	19 Salutanvi le Chiese della provincia d' Asia; salutanvi ancora molto nel Signore Aquila e Priscilla colla loro famiglia, con la quale io albergo.
20 All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.	20 Salutanvi tutti li fratelli. Salutatevi insieme col santo basciamento.
21 This is a greeting from my own hand, Paul.	21 Salutamento mio è la mano di Paulo (cioè la scrittura).
22 If anyone does not love our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema! Maran Atha.	22 Se alcuno non ama il nostro Signore Iesù Cristo, sia scomunicato e condannato (insino a tanto che il Signore nel suo avvenimento, cioè del giudicio).
23 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.	23 La grazia del nostro Signore Iesù Cristo sia con voi.
