1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.	1 Le second lot qui sortit fut celui des enfants de Siméon, selon leurs familles; et pour leur héritage,
2 As heritage, they received:	2 qui se trouve au milieu de celui des enfants de Juda, ils eurent Bersabée, Sabèe, Molada,
3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,	3 Hasersual, Bala, Asem,
4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,	4 Eltholad, Béthul, Harma,
5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,	5 Sicéleg, Bethmarchaboth, Hasersusa,
6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.	6 Bethlébaoth, Saroben: treize villes avec leurs villages.
7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,	7 Aïn, Remmon, Athar, Asan: quatre villes avec leurs villages.
8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.	8 Tous les villages des environs de ces villes jusqu'à Baalath-Béer-Ramath du côté du midi. C'est là le partage des enfants de Siméon selon leurs familles;
9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.	9 il fut pris sur le territoire que possédaient les enfants de Juda, parce qu'il était trop grand pour eux. C'est pourquoi les enfants de Siméon prirent leur part au milieu de l'héritage de Juda.
10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;	10 Le troisième lot qui sortit fut celui des enfants de Zabulon, selon leurs familles. Leur frontière s'étendait jusqu'à Sarid,
11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.	11 montait de la mer et de Mérala, et venait jusqu'à Debbaseth, jusqu'au torrent qui est vers Jéconam.
12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.	12 Elle retournait de Sared vers l'orient aux confins de Céséleththabor, s'avançait vers Dabéreth, et montait vers Japhié.
13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.	13 De là elle passait jusqu'à l'orient de Gethhépher et Thacasin, s'étendait vers Remmon, Amthar et Noa,
14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;	14 tournait au septentrion vers Hanathon, se terminait à la vallée de Jephtahel,
15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.	15 à Catheth, Naalol, Séméron, Jédala, Bethléem: douze villes avec leurs villages.
16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.	16 C'est là l'héritage de la tribu des enfants de Zabulon selon leurs familles, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.	17 Le quatrième lot qui sortit fut celui d'Issachar selon ses familles;
18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,	18 et il comprenait Jezraël, Casaloth, Sunem,
19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,	19 Hapharaïm, Séon, Anaharath,
20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,	20 Rabboth, Césion, Abés,
21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.	21 Rameth, Engannim, Enhadda, Bethphésès,
22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.	22 et sa frontière venait jusqu'à Thabor, Séhésima et Bethsamès, et se terminait au Jourdain; et tout son territoire comprenait seize villes avec leurs villages.
23 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.	23 C'est là l'héritage des enfants d'Issachar, selon leurs familles, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.	24 Le cinquème lot qui sortit fut celui de la tribu des enfants d'Aser, selon leurs familles.
25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,	25 Leur frontière fut Halcath, Chali, Béten, Axaph,
26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.	26 Elmélech, Amaad, et Messal; et elle s'étendait jusqu'au Caarmel vers la mer, et jusqu'à Sihor et Labanath;
27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,	27 et elle retournait du côté de l'orient vers Bethdagon, passait jusqu'à Zabulon et à la vallée de Jephtaël vers l'aquilon, et jusqu'à Bethémec et Néhiel. Elle s'étendait à main gauche vers Cabul,
28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;	28 Abran, Rohob, Hamon, Cana, et jusqu'à la grande Sidon.
29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,	29 Elle retournait vers Horma jusqu'à la puissante ville de Tyr, et jusqu'à Hosa, et elle se terminait à la mer par le district d'Achziba;
30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.	30 et comprenait Amma, Aphec et Rohob; ce qui faisait en tout vingt-deux villes avec leurs villages.
31 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans; these towns and their vil ages.	31 C'est là l'héritage des enfants d'Aser, selon leurs familles, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.	32 Le sixième lot qui sortit fut celui des enfants de Nephthali, selon leurs familles.
33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.	33 Leur frontière s'étendait depuis Héleph, et Elon, par Saananim et Adami, nommée aussi Néceb, et par Jebnaël, jusqu'à Lécum, et se terminait au Jourdain;
34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.	34 elle retournait du côté de l'occident vers Azanotthabor. Elle allait de là vers Hucuca, passait vers Zabulon du côté du midi, vers Aser du côté de l'occident, et vers Juda du côté du Jourdain au soleil levant.
35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,	35 Ses villes, qui sont très fortes, étaient Assédim, Ser, Emath, Reccath, Cénéreth,
36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,	36 Edéma, Arama, Asor,
37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,	37 Cédès, Edraï, Enhasor,
38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.	38 Jéron, Magdalel, Horem, Bethanath, et Bethsamès, qui font en tout dix-neuf villes avec leurs villages.
39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.	39 C'est là l'héritage de la tribu des enfants de Nephthali, selon leurs familles, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.	40 Le septième lot qui sortit fut celui de la tribu des enfants de Dan selon leurs familles.
41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,	41 Le territoire de cette tribu contenait Sara, Esthaol, Hirsémès, c'est-à-dire la ville du Soleil,
42 Shaalbim, Aijalon, Silatha,	42 Sélébin, Aïalon, Jéthéla,
43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,	43 Elon, Themna, Acron,
44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon,	44 Elthécé, Gebbéthon, Balaath,
45 Baalath, Azor, Bene-Berak and Gath-Rimmon;	45 Jud, Bané, Barach, Gethremmon,
46 and, by the sea, Jerakon with the territory facing Jaffa.	46 Méjarcon, et Arécon, avec ses confins qui regardent Joppé;
47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.	47 et c'est là que se termine cet héritage. Mais les enfants de Dan, ayant marché contre Lésem, l'assiégèrent et la prirent; ils passèrent au fil de l'épée tout ce qui s'y rencontra, ils s'en rendirent maîtres et y habitèrent, l'appelant Lésem-Dan, du nom de Dan leur père.
48 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans: these towns and their vil ages.	48 C'est là l'héritage que posséda la tribu des enfants de Dan, selon leurs familles, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.
49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;	49 Josué ayant achevé de faire le partage du pays, en donnant à chaque tribu la part qui lui était échue par le sort, les enfants d'Israël donnèrent à Josué, fils de Nun, pour héritage au milieu d'eux,
50 at Yahweh's command, they gave him the town which he had asked for, Timnath-Serah in thehighlands of Ephraim; he rebuilt the town and settled there.	50 selon que le Seigneur l'avait ordonné, la ville qu'il leur demanda, qui fut Thamnath-Saraa sur la montagne d'Ephraïm, et il y bâtit une ville où il demeura.
51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.	51 Tels sont les héritages que partagèrent au sort le grand prêtre Eléazar, Josué, fils de Nun, et les princes des familles et des tribus des enfants d'Israël, à Silo, devant le Seigneur, à la porte du tabernacle du témoignage. C'est ainsi qu'ils partagèrent le pays.
