1 'So, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against you,Gog, paramount prince of Meshech and Tubal.1 ܘܐܢܬ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠ ܓܘܓ ܘܐܡܪ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܝܟ ܓܘܓ ܡܕܒܪܢܐ ܘܪܝܫܐ ܕܡܫܟ ܘܕܬܘܒܝܠ
2 I shal turn you about, lead you on, and bring you from the farthest north against the mountains ofIsrael.2 ܘܐܫܝܢܟ ܘܐܟܢܫܟ ܘܐܣܩܟ ܡܢ ܫ̈ܦܘܠܝ ܓܪܒܝܐ ܘܐܝܬܝܟ ܠܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
3 I shal break the bow in your left hand and dash the arrows out of your right.3 ܘܐܦܕ ܩܫܬܟ ܡܢ ܣܡܠܟ ܘܓܐܪܟ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܟ
4 You will fal on the mountains of Israel, you, al your troops and the nations with you. I shall make youfood for every kind of bird of prey and wild animals.4 ܘܒܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܬܦܠ ܐܢܬ ܘܟܠܗ ܚܝܠܟ ܘܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ ܕܥܡܟ ܠܦܪܚܬܐ ܕܓܦܐ ܘܠܚܝܘܬܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܝܗܒ̇ܬܟ ܠܡܐܟܘܠܬܐ
5 You will fal in the wilds, for I have spoken -- declares the Lord Yahweh.5 ܘܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܕܒܪܐ ܬܦܠ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܐ ܡܠܠ̇ܬ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
6 I shal send down fire on Magog and on those living undisturbed in the islands, and they wil know thatI am Yahweh.6 ܘܐܫܕܪ ܢܘܪܐ ܥܠ ܡܓܘܓ ܘܥܠ ܝܬ̈ܒܝ ܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܕܒܫܠܝܐ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
7 I shal see that my holy name is acknowledged by my people Israel, and no longer al ow my holy nameto be profaned; and the nations wil know that I am Yahweh, holy in Israel.7 ܘܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܐܘܕܥ ܒܓܘ ܥܡܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܐܛܘܫ ܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
8 "All this is to happen, al this is to take place -- declares the Lord Yahweh. This is the day I predicted.8 ܗܐ ܡܛܐ ܠܡܐܬܐ ܝܘܡܐ ܕܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
9 "The inhabitants of the towns of Israel wil go out and set fire to and burn the weapons, the shields andbucklers, bows and arrows, javelins and spears. They wil burn these for seven years9 ܘܢܦܩܘܢ ܥܡܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܩܘܪ̈ܝܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܢܫܒܩܘܢ ܢܘܪܐ ܒܙܝܢܐ ܘܒܣܟܪ̈ܐ ܘܒܢܝ̈ܙܟܐ ܘܒܩܫ̈ܬܬܐ ܘܒܓܐܪ̈ܐ ܘܒܚ̈ܘܛܪܐ ܕܐ̈ܝܕܝܐ ܘܒܪ̈ܘܡܚܐ ܘܢܘܩܕܘܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܒܢܘܪܐ ܫܒܥ ܫ̈ܢܝܢ
10 and not fetch wood from the countryside or cut it in the forests, since they wil be burning theweapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and despoil those who despoiled them -- declares theLord Yahweh.10 ܘܠܐ ܢܣܬܢܩܘܢ ܥܠ ܩܝ̈ܣܐ ܕܚܩܠܐ ܘܕܥܒܐ ܐܠܐ ܡܢ ܙܝܢܗܘܢ ܢܘܩܕܘܢ ܒܢܘܪܐ ܘܢܫܒܘܢ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܫܒܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܒܙܘܢ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܙܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
11 "That day, I shall give Gog a famous spot in Israel for his grave, the val ey of the Obarim, east of theSea -- the val ey that halts the travel er -- and there Gog and his whole throng wil be buried, and it wil be cal edthe Val ey of Hamon-Gog.11 ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܐܬܠ ܬܡܢ ܕܘܟܬܐ ܠܓܘܓ ܠܩܒܪܐ ܒܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܢܚܠܐ ܪܒܐ ܕܒܡܕܢܚܝܗ ܕܝܡܐ. ܘܢܣܟܪܘܢܗ ܠܢܚܠܐ ܘܢܩܒܪܘܢܗ ܬܡܢ ܠܓܘܓ ܘܠܟܠܗ ܚܝܠܗ ܘܢܬܩܪܐ ܢܚܠܐ ܕܣܘܦܢܗ ܕܓܘܓ
12 The House of Israel will take seven months to bury them and cleanse the country.12 ܘܠܫܒܥܐ ܝܪ̈ܚܝܢ ܢܩܒܪܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܬܬܕܟܐ ܐܪܥܐ
13 Al the people of the country wil dig their graves, thus winning themselves renown, the day when Idisplay my glory -- declares the Lord Yahweh.13 ܘܢܩܒܪܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܫܡܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܡܫܬܒܚ ܐܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ
14 And men wil be detailed to the permanent duty of going through the country and burying those leftabove ground and cleansing it. They wil begin their search once the seven months are over,14 ܘܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܪ̈ܚܝܢ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܩܒ̇ܪܝܢ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܫܬܚܪܘ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܬܬܕܟܐ
15 and as they go through the country, if one of them sees any human bones, he wil set up a markerbeside them until the gravediggers have buried them in the val ey of Hamon-Gog15 ܘܟܠ ܕܥܒ̇ܪ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܚ̇ܙܐ ܓܪܡܐ ܕܒܪܢܫܐ ܢܨܘܐ ܥܠ ܓܒܗ ܨܘܝܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܬ̇ܝܢ ܫܩ̇ܠܝܢ ܠܗ ܗ̇ܢܘܢ ܕܩܒ̇ܪܝܢ ܒܢܚܠܐ ܕܓܘܓ
16 (and Hamonah is also the name of a town) and have cleansed the country."16 ܘܢܫܬܡܗ ܫܡܗ̇ ܕܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܥܫܝܢܬܐ ܘܢܕܟܘܢܗ̇ ܠܐܪܥܐ
17 'Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Say to the birds of every kind and to al the wild animals:Muster, come, gather from everywhere around for the sacrifice I am making for you, a great sacrifice on themountains of Israel, so that you can eat flesh and drink blood.17 ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܟܠܗ̇ ܦܪܚܬܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܘܠܟܠܗ̇ ܚܝܘܬܐ ܕܕܒܪܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܐܬܟܢܫܘ ܘܬܘ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܕܘܟܐ ܠܕܒܚܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܕܕܒ̇ܚ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܒܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܬܐܟܠܘܢ ܒܣܪܐ ܘܬܫܬܘܢ ܕܡܐ
18 You wil eat the flesh of heroes, you wil drink the blood of the princes of the world. They are al ramsand lambs, goats and fat bul s of Bashan.18 ܒܣܪܐ ܕܓܢܒܪ̈ܐ ܬܐܟܠܘܢ ܘܕܡܐ ܕܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܬܫܬܘܢ ܕܕܟܪ̈ܐ ܘܕܡ̈ܦܛܡܐ ܘܕܬܝܫ̈ܐ ܘܕܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܕܐܪ̈ܘܢܐ ܕܒܝܫܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ
19 You wil glut yourselves on fat and drink yourselves drunk on blood at this sacrifice I am making foryou.19 ܘܬܐܟܠܘܢ ܒܣܪܐ ܘܬܣܒܥܘܢ ܘܬܫܬܘܢ ܕܡܐ ܘܬܪܘܘܢ ܡܢ ܕܒܚܬܐ ܕܕܒ̇ܚ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ
20 You wil glut yourselves at my table on horses and chargers, on heroes and every kind of warrior --declares the Lord Yahweh."20 ܘܬܣܒܥܘܢ ܡܢ ܦܬܘܪܝ ܒܣܪܐ ܕܪ̈ܟܫܐ ܘܕܪ̈ܟܒܝܗܘܢ ܘܕܓܢܒܪ̈ܐ ܘܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܩܪ̈ܒܬܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
21 'I shal display my glory to the nations, and al nations wil see my sentence when I inflict it and myhand when I strike them.21 ܘܐܥܒܕ ܫܘܒܚܝ ܒ̈ܥܡܡܐ ܘܢܚܙܘܢ ܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܝܢܐ ܕܥܒ̇ܕܬ ܘܐܝܕܝ ܕܣܡ̇ܬ ܒܗܘܢ
22 The House of Israel will know that I am Yahweh their God, from that day forward for ever.22 ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܠܗܠ
23 The nations too wil know that the House of Israel were exiled for their guilt; because they wereunfaithful to me, I hid my face from them and put them into the clutches of their enemies, so that they all fel bythe sword.23 ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܡܛܠ ܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ ܐܫܬܒܝܘ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܐܥܠܝܘ ܒܝ ܘܐܗܦܟ̇ܬ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܘܐܫܠܡ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܐܝܕܐ ܕܣ̈ܢܐܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܦܠܘ ܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܒܚܪܒܐ
24 I treated them as their loathsome acts of infidelity deserved and hid my face from them.24 ܘܐܝܟ ܛܢܦܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܐܝܟ ܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ ܦܪܥ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܐܗܦܟ̇ܬ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܡܢܗܘܢ
25 'So, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Now I shal bring Jacob's captives back and take pity on the wholeHouse of Israel and show myself jealous for my holy name.25 ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܡܟܝܠ ܡܦܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܫܒܝܬܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܡܪܚܡ ܐܢܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܗ ܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܛܐ̇ܢ ܐܢܐ ܡܛܠ ܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ
26 They will forget their disgrace and al the acts of infidelity which they committed against me whenthey were living safely in their own country, with no one to disturb them.26 ܘܢܩܒܠܘܢ ܟܘܠܗ̇ ܒܗܬܬܗܘܢ ܘܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ ܕܐܥܠܝܘ ܒܝ ܡܐ ܕܝܬܒܘ ܒܐܪܥܗܘܢ ܒܫܠܝܐ ܘܠܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܗܪܢܐ
27 When I bring them home from the peoples, when I gather them back from the countries of theirenemies, when I display my holiness in them for many nations to see,27 ܡܐ ܕܟܢܫ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܩܪܒ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܡ̈ܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܬܩܕܫ̇ܬ ܒܗܘܢ ܠܥܝܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ
28 they wil know that I am Yahweh their God who, having sent them into exile among the nations, havereunited them in their own country, not leaving a single one behind.28 ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܗܘܢ ܐܫܒܝ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܟܢܫ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܐܘܬܪ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܬܡܢ
29 I shal never hide my face from them again, since I shal pour out my spirit on the House of Israel --declares the Lord Yahweh." '29 ܘܠܐ ܐܗܦܟ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܐܫܘܕ ܪܘܚܝ ܥܠ ܟܘܠܗ ܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
