¹ Al eluia! Praise the name of Yahweh, you who serve Yahweh, praise him,	¹ Alleluia.Lodate il nome del Signore,lodatelo, servi del Signore,
² serving in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.	² voi che state nella casa del Signore,negli atri della casa del nostro Dio.
³ Praise Yahweh, for Yahweh is good, make music for his name -- it brings joy-	³ Lodate il Signore, perché il Signore è buono;cantate inni al suo nome, perché è amabile.
⁴ for Yahweh has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his own possession.	⁴ Il Signore si è scelto Giacobbe,Israele come sua proprietà.
⁵ For I know that Yahweh is great, our Lord is above al gods.	⁵ Sì, riconosco che il Signore è grande,il Signore nostro più di tutti gli dèi.
⁶ Yahweh does whatever he pleases in heaven, on earth, in the waters and al the depths.	⁶ Tutto ciò che vuoleil Signore lo compie in cielo e sulla terra,nei mari e in tutti gli abissi.
⁷ He summons up clouds from the borders of earth, sends rain with lightning-flashes, and brings thewind out of his storehouse.	⁷ Fa salire le nubi dall’estremità della terra,produce le folgori per la pioggia,dalle sue riserve libera il vento.
⁸ He struck the first-born in Egypt, man and beast alike,	⁸ Egli colpì i primogeniti d’Egitto,dagli uomini fino al bestiame.
⁹ he sent signs and wonders into the heart of Egypt, against Pharaoh and al his officials.	⁹ Mandò segni e prodigiin mezzo a te, Egitto,contro il faraone e tutti i suoi ministri.
¹⁰ He struck down many nations, he slaughtered mighty kings,	¹⁰ Colpì numerose nazionie uccise sovrani potenti:
¹¹ Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and al the kingdoms of Canaan.	¹¹ Sicon, re degli Amorrei,Og, re di Basan,e tutti i regni di Canaan.
¹² He gave their land as a birthright, a birthright to his people Israel.	¹² Diede in eredità la loro terra,in eredità a Israele suo popolo.
¹³ Yahweh, your name endures for ever, Yahweh, your memory is fresh from age to age.	¹³ Signore, il tuo nome è per sempre;Signore, il tuo ricordo di generazione in generazione.
¹⁴ For Yahweh vindicates his people, feels compassion for his servants.	¹⁴ Sì, il Signore fa giustizia al suo popoloe dei suoi servi ha compassione.
¹⁵ The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands.	¹⁵ Gli idoli delle nazioni sono argento e oro,opera delle mani dell’uomo.
¹⁶ These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,	¹⁶ Hanno bocca e non parlano,hanno occhi e non vedono,
¹⁷ have ears but hear nothing, and they have no breath in their mouths.	¹⁷ hanno orecchi e non odono;no, non c’è respiro nella loro bocca.
¹⁸ Their makers wil end up like them, everyone who relies on them.	¹⁸ Diventi come loro chi li fabbricae chiunque in essi confida.
¹⁹ House of Israel, bless Yahweh, House of Aaron, bless Yahweh,	¹⁹ Benedici il Signore, casa d’Israele;benedici il Signore, casa di Aronne;
²⁰ House of Levi, bless Yahweh, you who fear Yahweh, bless Yahweh.	²⁰ benedici il Signore, casa di Levi;voi che temete il Signore, benedite il Signore.
²¹ Blessed be Yahweh from Zion, he who dwel s in Jerusalem!	²¹ Da Sion, benedetto il Signore,che abita in Gerusalemme!Alleluia.
