1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:	1 Então, respondendo Baldad Suita, disse:
2 Dominion and awesomeness are his who brings about harmony in his heavens.	2 O poder e o terror estão naquele que mantém a concórdia (e a harmonia) nos seus altos (céus).
3 Is there any numbering of his troops? Yet to which of them does not his light extend?	3 Porventura têm número as suas (celestiais) milicias? E sobre quem é que não se levanta a sua luz?
4 How can a man be just in God's sight, or how can any woman's child be innocent?	4 Porventura pode justificar-se o homem, comparado com Deus, ou aparecer puro o que nasceu da mulher?
5 Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clear in his sight.	5 Eis que a mesma lua não tem resplendor, e as mesmas estrelas não são puras na sua presença;
6 How much less man, who is but a maggot, the son of man, who is only a worm?	6 quanto menos o homem, que é podridão, e o filho do homem, que é um verme!
