1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.	1 Y cuando abrió el séptimo sello se hizo en el cielo silencio como de media hora.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.	2 Y vi a los siete ángeles que están de pie delante de Dios; y les dieron siete trompetas.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.	3 Y vino otro ángel y se puso de pie junto al altar con un incensario de oro, y le fueron dados muchos perfumes, para que los añadiese a las oraciones de todos los santos sobre el altar de oro que está delante del trono.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.	4 Y subió el humo de los perfumes con las oraciones de los santos de mano del ángel a la presencia de Dios.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.	5 El ángel tomó el incensario, lo llenó del fuego del altar y lo arrojó a la tierra: hubo truenos, voces, relámpagos y un terremoto.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.	6 Y los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas se prepararon para tocar.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.	7 Y el primero tocó la trompeta, y hubo granizo y fuego mezclados con sangre, y fueron arrojados a la tierra. Una tercera parte de la tierra se abrasó, una tercera parte de los árboles se abrasó y toda la hierba verde se abrasó.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;	8 Y el segundo ángel tocó la trompeta; algo así como una montaña enorme, ardiendo en fuego, fue arrojada al mar: y la tercera parte del mar se convirtió en sangre,
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.	9 la tercera parte de los seres que viven en el mar murió y la tercera parte de las naves fue destruida.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;	10 Y el tercer ángel tocó la trompeta; y cayó del cielo una estrella gigantesca, ardiendo como una antorcha, y cayó sobre la tercera parte de los ríos y sobre los manantiales de las aguas.
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.	11 El nombre de la estrella es Ajenjo: la tercera parte de las aguas se convirtió en ajenjo, y mucha gente murió por las aguas, porque se habían vuelto amargas.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.	12 Y el cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue herida una tercera parte del sol, una tercera parte de la luna y una tercera parte de las estrellas, de modo que se oscureció la tercera parte de ellos y el día perdió una tercera parte de su luz, y lo mismo la noche.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!	13 Miré: y oí un águila que volaba por mitad del cielo, y decía con gran voz: «¡Ay, ay, ay de los habitantes de la tierra por los toques de trompeta que faltan, por los tres ángeles que están a punto de tocar!».
