1 Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;	1 Se acercaron los cabezas de familia de los levitas al sacerdote Eleazar, a Josué, hijo de Nun, y a los cabezas de familia de las tribus de Israel,
2 And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.	2 cuando estaban en Silo, en tierra de Canaán, y les dijeron: «Yahveh ordenó por medio de Moisés que se nos dieran ciudades donde residir, con sus pastos para nuestro ganado».
3 And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.	3 Los israelitas, conforme a la orden de Yahveh, dieron a los levitas, de su heredad, las siguientes ciudades con sus pastos.
4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.	4 Se hizo el sorteo para los clanes quehatitas: y a los levitas hijos del sacerdote Aarón les tocaron trece ciudades de las tribus de Judá, Simeón, y Benjamín;
5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.	5 a los otros hijos de Quehat, por clanes, diez ciudades de las tribus de Efraím, de Dan y de la media tribu de Manasés.
6 And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.	6 A los hijos de Guerson, por clanes, les tocaron trece ciudades de las tribus de Isacar, Aser, Neftalí y de la media tribu de Manasés, en Basán.
7 The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.	7 A los hijos de Merarí, por clanes, les tocaron doce ciudades de las tribus de Rubén, Gad y Zabulón.
8 And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.	8 Los israelitas dieron a los levitas por suertes esas ciudades y sus pastos, como Yahveh había ordenado por boca de Moisés.
9 And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name,	9 De la tribu de Judá y de la tribu de Simeón les dieron las ciudades que se nombran a continuación;
10 Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.	10 esta fue la parte de los hijos de Aarón, pertenecientes al clan quehatita, de los hijos de Levi; porque la primera suerte fue para ellos.
11 And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.	11 Les dieron Quiryat Arbá (ciudad del padre de Anaq), o sea Hebrón, en la montaña de Judá, con los pastos circundantes.
12 But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.	12 Pero la campiña de esta ciudad con sus aldeas se la dieron en propiedad a Caleb, hijo de Yefunné.
13 Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,	13 A los hijos del sacerdote Aarón les dieron, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Hebrón con sus pastos, y además Libná y sus pastos,
14 And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs,	14 Yattir con sus pastos, Estemoa con sus pastos
15 And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,	15 Jolón con sus pastos, Debir con sus pastos,
16 And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.	16 Asan con sus pastos, Yutta con sus pastos, Bet Semes con sus pastos: nueve ciudades de esas dos tribus.
17 And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,	17 De la tribu de Benjamín, Gabaón y sus pastos, Gueba y sus pastos,
18 Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.	18 Anatot y sus pastos, Almón y sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.	19 Total de las ciudades de los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón: trece ciudades con sus pastos.
20 And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.	20 A los clanes de los hijos de Quehat, a los levitas restantes entre los hijos de Quehat, les tocaron en suerte ciudades de la tribu de Efraím.
21 For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,	21 Se les dio, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Siquem con sus pastos, en la montaña de Efraím, y además Guézer con sus pastos.
22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs; four cities.	22 Quibsáyim con sus pastos, Bet Jorón con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs,	23 De la tribu de Dan, Eltequé con sus pastos, Guibbetón con sus pastos,
24 Aijalon with her suburbs, Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; four cities.	24 Ayyalón con sus pastos, Gat Rimmón con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.
25 And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities.	25 De la media tribu de Manasés, Tanak con sus pastos y Yibleam con sus pastos: dos ciudades.
26 All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.	26 Total: diez ciudades con sus pastos para lo restantes clanes de los hijos de Quehat.
27 And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beesh-terah with her suburbs; two cities.	27 A los hijos de Guersón, de los clanes levíticos, les dieron: de la media tribu de Manasés, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Golán en Basán con sus pastos, y Astarot con sus pastos: dos ciudades.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs,	28 De la tribu de Isacar, Quisyón con sus pastos, Daberat con sus pastos
29 Jarmuth with her suburbs, En-gannim with her suburbs; four cities.	29 Yarmut con sus pastos, En Gannim con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs,	30 De la tribu de Aser, Misal con sus pastos, Abdón con sus pastos,
31 Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities.	31 Jelcat con sus pastos, Rejob con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth-dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.	32 De la tribu de Neftalí, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Quedes en Galilea con sus pastos, Jammot Dor con sus pastos, Raqcat con sus pastos: tres ciudades.
33 All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.	33 Total de ciudades de los guersonitas, por clanes: trece ciudades con sus pastos.
34 And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs,	34 A los clanes de los hijos de Merarí, al resto de los levitas: de la tribu de Zabulón: Yoqneam con sus pastos, Cartá con sus pastos,
35 Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities.	35 Rimmón con sus pastos, Nahalal con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades;
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs,	36 al otro lado del Jordán, de la tribu de Rubén, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Béser en el desierto, en el llano, con sus pastos, y además Yahás con sus pastos,
37 Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities.	37 Quedemot con sus pastos, Mefaat con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.
38 And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs,	38 De la tribu de Gad, como ciudad de asilo para los homicidas, Ramot en Galaad, y Majanáyim
39 Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all.	39 Jesbón con sus pastos, Yazer con sus pastos: cuatro ciudades.
40 So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.	40 Total de ciudades asignadas por suerte a los hijos de Merarí, por clanes, es decir, al resto de los clanes levíticos: doce ciudades.
41 All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.	41 Total de las ciudades de los levitas en medio de la propiedad de los israelitas: 48 ciudades con sus pastos.
42 These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.	42 Cada una de las ciudades comprendía la ciudad y los pastos circundantes. Así todas las ciudades mencionadas.
43 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.	43 Yahveh dio a los israelitas toda la tierra que había jurado dar a sus padres. La ocuparon y se establecieron en ella.
44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.	44 Yahveh les concedió paz en todos sus confines, tal como había jurado a sus padres, y ninguno de sus enemigos pudo hacerles frente. Yahveh entregó a todos sus enemigos en sus manos.
45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.	45 No falló una sola de todas las espléndidas promesas que Yahveh había hecho a la casa de Israel. Todo se cumplió.
