1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.	1 E di nuovo entrò nella sinagoga, e quivi era un uomo con una mano secca,
2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.	2 e stavano ad osservare se lo guariva di sabato, per accusarlo.
3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.	3 Ed egli disse all'uomo che aveva la mano secca: Vieni nel mezzo.
4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.	4 Poi disse loro: E' lecito fare del bene o del male, di sabato? salvare o togliere la vita? Ma quelli tacevano.
5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.	5 Allora guardatili tutti in giro con indignazione, contristato per la cecità del loro cuore, disse a quell'uomo: Stendi la mano. Egli la stese, e la mano tornò sana.
6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.	6 Ma i Farisei, appena usciti, tennero consiglio cogli Erodiani contro di lui sulla maniera di farlo morire.
7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,	7 Ma Gesù coi suoi discepoli si ritirò verso il mare; e lo seguì molta folla dalla Giudea, dalla Galilea,
8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.	8 da Gerusalemme, e dall'Idumea, e d'oltre il Giordano. Anche dalle vicinanze di Tiro e di Sidone, molta gente, avendo udito le cose che faceva, venne a lui.
9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.	9 Ed egli disse ai suoi discepoli che gli tenessero pronta una barchetta perchè la folla non io soffocasse.
10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.	10 Perchè avendone guariti molti, quanti avevan malori gli si precipitavano addosso per toccarlo.
11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.	11 E gli spiriti immondi, quando lo vedevano, gli si prostravano davanti gridando:
12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.	12 Tu sei Figlio di Dio. Ma egli con gravi minacce proibiva loro di manifestarlo.
13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.	13 E salito su un monte chiamò a sè quei che volle: ed essi andarono a lui.
14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,	14 E ne scelse dodici per averli con sè e mandarli a predicare.
15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:	15 E diede loro il potere di curare le infermità e cacciare i demoni. (Essi sono)
16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;	16 Simone, cui pose nome Pietro;
17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:	17 Giacomo di Zebedeo e Giovanni fratello di Giacomo, ai quali mise nome Boanerges, cioè figli del tuono;
18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,	18 poi Andrea, Filippo, Bartolomeo, Matteo, Tommaso, Giacomo d'Alfeo, Taddeo, Simone il Cananeo,
19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.	19 e Giuda Iscariote, che poi lo tradì.
20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.	20 E tornati a casa, di nuovo si radunò la folla, sicché non potevano neppure mangiare.
21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.	21 Or i suoi, avendolo saputo, uscirono per tenerlo a forza, perchè dicevano: E' fuor di senno.
22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.	22 E gli Scribi che eran venuti da Gerusalemme dicevano: Ha Belzebub e nel principe dei demoni scaccia i demoni.
23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?	23 Ma Gesù, chiamatili a sè, diceva loro in parabole: Come può Satana cacciar Satana?
24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.	24 E se un regno è diviso, ei non può durare.
25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.	25 E se una casa è divisa in parti contrarie, è casa che non dura.
26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.	26 Se quindi Satana insorge contro se stesso ed è discorde, non potrà reggere, ma dovrà finire.
27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.	27 E nessuno può entrare in casa del forte a rubargli i beni, se prima non lo lega, allora gli saccheggerà la casa.
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:	28 Vì dico in verità che saranno rimessi ai figli degli uomini tutti i peccati e qualunque bestemmia abbian proferita,
29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:	29 ma chi avrà bestemmiato contro lo Spirito Santo, non otterrà perdono in eterno, ma reo sarà d'eterno peccato.
30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.	30 E questo a loro, perchè dicevano: Ha lo spirito immondo.
31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.	31 E venne la madre e i fratelli di lui, che, fermatisi fuori, mandarono a chiamarlo.
32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.	32 E mentre gli sedeva intorno molta gente gli dicono: Ecco tua madre e i tuoi fratelli stan fuori e ti cercano.
33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?	33 Ma egli rispondendo loro, disse: Chi è mia madre? e chi sono i miei fratelli?
34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!	34 E guardando in giro chi gli sedeva attorno, disse: Ecco la madre mia e i miei fratelli.
35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.	35 Chi infatti farà la volontà di Dio, questi mi è fratello, sorella e madre.
