JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 En ce jour-là, Débora et Baraq, fils d'Abinoam, chantèrent, disant:	1 Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
2 Puisqu'en Israël des guerriers ont dénoué leur chevelure, puisque le peuple s'est offert librement,bénissez Yahvé!	2 Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
3 Ecoutez, rois! Prêtez l'oreille, princes! Moi, pour Yahvé, moi je chanterai. Je célébrerai Yahvé, Dieud'Israël.	3 Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
4 Yahvé, quand tu sortis de Séïr, quand tu t'avanças des campagnes d'Edom, la terre trembla, les cieuxse déversèrent, les nuées fondirent en eau.	4 LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water.
5 Les montagnes ruisselèrent devant Yahvé, celui du Sinaï, devant Yahvé, le Dieu d'Israël.	5 The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
6 Aux jours de Shamgar fils d'Anat, aux jours de Yaël, il n'y avait plus de caravanes; ceux qui s'enallaient par les chemins prenaient des sentiers détournés.	6 In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.
7 Les villages étaient morts en Israël, ils étaient morts, jusqu'à ton lever, ô Débora, jusqu'à ton lever,mère en Israël!	7 The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
8 On choisissait des dieux nouveaux, alors la guerre était aux portes; on ne voyait ni bouclier ni lancepour 40 milliers en Israël!	8 They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
9 Mon coeur va aux chefs d'Israël, avec les libres engagés du peuple! Bénissez Yahvé!	9 My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.
10 Vous qui montez des ânesses blanches, assis sur des tapis, et vous qui allez par les chemins, chantez,	10 Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
11 aux acclamations des pâtres, près des abreuvoirs. Là on célèbre les bienfaits de Yahvé, ses bienfaitspour ses villages d'Israël! (Alors le peuple de Yahvé est descendu aux portes.)	11 They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
12 Eveille-toi, éveille-toi, Débora! Eveille-toi, éveille-toi, clame un chant! Courage! Debout, Baraq! etprends ceux qui t'ont pris, fils d'Abinoam!	12 Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
13 Alors Israël est descendu aux portes, le peuple de Yahvé est descendu pour sa cause, en héros.	13 Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
14 Les princes d'Ephraïm sont dans la vallée. Derrière toi Benjamin est parmi les tiens. De Makir sontdescendus des chefs, de Zabulon, ceux qui portent le bâton de commandement.	14 Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
15 Les princes d'Issachar sont avec Débora, et Nephtali, avec Baraq, dans la vallée s'est lancé sur sestraces. Dans les clans de Ruben, on s'est concerté longuement.	15 And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
16 Pourquoi es-tu resté dans les enclos à l'écoute des sifflements, près des troupeaux? (Dans les clans deRuben, on s'est concerté longuement.)	16 Why abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks? For the divisions of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.
17 Galaad est resté au-delà du Jourdain, et Dan, pourquoi vit-il sur des vaisseaux? Asher est demeuré aubord de la mer, il habite tranquille dans ses ports.	17 Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.
18 Zabulon est un peuple qui a bravé la mort, ainsi que Nephtali, sur les hauteurs du pays.	18 Zebulun and Naphtali were a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field.
19 Les rois sont venus, ils ont combattu, alors ils ont combattu, les rois de Canaan, à Tanak, aux eaux deMegiddo, mais ils n'ont pas ramassé d'argent en butin.	19 The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
20 Du haut des cieux les étoiles ont combattu, de leurs chemins, elles ont combattu Sisera.	20 They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
21 Le torrent du Qishôn les a balayés, le torrent des temps anciens, le torrent du Qishôn! Marchehardiment, ô mon âme!	21 The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength.
22 Alors les sabots des chevaux ont martelé le sol: ils galopent, ils galopent, ses coursiers!	22 Then were the horsehoofs broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones.
23 Maudissez Méroz, dit l'Ange de Yahvé, maudissez, maudissez ses habitants: car ils ne sont pas venusà l'aide de Yahvé, à l'aide de Yahvé parmi les héros.	23 Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
24 Bénie entre les femmes soit Yaël (la femme de Héber le Qénite), entre les femmes qui habitent lestentes, bénie soit-elle!	24 Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
25 Il demandait de l'eau, elle a donné du lait, dans la coupe des nobles elle a offert de la crème.	25 He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.
26 Elle a tendu la main pour saisir le piquet, la droite pour saisir le marteau des travailleurs. Elle afrappé Sisera, elle lui a brisé la tête, elle lui a percé et fracassé la tempe.	26 She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.
27 Entre ses pieds il s'est écroulé, il est tombé, il s'est couché, à ses pieds il s'est écroulé, il est tombé.Où il s'est écroulé, là il est tombé, anéanti.	27 At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
28 Par la fenêtre elle se penche, elle guette, la mère de Sisera, à travers le grillage: "Pourquoi son chartarde-t-il à venir? Pourquoi sont-ils si lents, ses attelages?"	28 The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
29 La plus avisée de ses princesses lui répond, et elle se répète à elle-même:	29 Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
30 "Sans doute ils recueillent, ils partagent le butin: une jeune fille, deux jeunes filles par guerrier! unbutin d'étoffes de couleur brodées pour Sisera, une broderie, deux broderies pour mon cou!"	30 Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
31 Ainsi périssent tous tes ennemis, Yahvé! et ceux qui t'aiment, qu'ils soient comme le soleil quand ilse lève dans sa force! Et le pays fut en repos pendant 40 ans.	31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
