Psalms 127

1 When the lord brought back the captivity of Sion, we became like men comforted.	1 Cantico de' gradi. Beati tutti che temono il Signore, li quali vanno nelle vie sue.
2 Then was our mouth filled with gladness; and our tongue with joy. Then shall they say among the Gentiles: The Lord hath done great things for them.	2 Per che mangerai le fatiche delle tue mani; iu sei beato, e ti sarà bene.
3 The Lord hath done great things for us: we are become joyful.	3 La mogliere tua sarà come vite abbondante, nelli lati della casa tua. Gli figliuoli tuoi (sono) come piante novelle di olivari, intorno alla mensa tua.
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as a stream in the south.	4 Ecco che a tale modo sarà benedetto l' uomo che teme il Signore.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.	5 A te benedica il Signore di Sion; possi vedere li beni di Ierusalem in tutti li giorni della vita tua.
6 Going they went and wept, casting their seeds.	6 E possi vedere li figliuoli delli figliuoli tuoi, e la pace sopra Israel.
7 But coming they shall come with joyfulness, carrying their sheaves.
