1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.	1 Alleluia.Lodate, servi del Signore,lodate il nome del Signore.
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.	2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore,da ora e per sempre.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.	3 Dal sorgere del sole al suo tramontosia lodato il nome del Signore.
4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.	4 Su tutte le genti eccelso è il Signore,più alta dei cieli è la sua gloria.
5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:	5 Chi è come il Signore, nostro Dio,che siede nell’alto
6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?	6 e si china a guardaresui cieli e sulla terra?
7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::	7 Solleva dalla polvere il debole,dall’immondizia rialza il povero,
8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.	8 per farlo sedere tra i prìncipi,tra i prìncipi del suo popolo.
9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.	9 Fa abitare nella casa la sterile,come madre gioiosa di figli.Alleluia.
