1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abiu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.	1 Los descendientes de Aarón también estaban distribuidos por clases. Los hijos de Aarón fueron Nadab, Abihú, Eleazar e Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abiu died before their father, and had no children: so Eleazar, and Ithamar did the office of the priesthood.	2 Nadab y Abihú murieron antes que su padre, sin tener hijos; y fueron Eleazar e Itamar los ejercieron las funciones sacerdotales.
3 And David distributed them, that is, Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.	3 David junto con Sadoc, de los hijos de Eleazar, y con Ajimélec, de los hijos de Itamar, los dividió en clases y los registró según sus funciones.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the principal men, than of the sons of Ithamar. And he divided them so, that there were of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen chief men by their families: and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.	4 Entre los hijos de Eleazar, había más varones que entre los hijos de Itamar, y por eso, al ser divididos, los jefes de familia fueron dieciséis entre los hijos de Eleazar, y ocho entre los hijos de Itamar.
5 And he divided both the families one with the other by lot: for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.	5 Unos y otros fueron divididos por sorteo, porque tanto entre los hijos de Eleazar como entre los hijos de Itamar había jefes consagrados y jefes al servicio de Dios.
6 And Semeias the son of Nathanael the scribe a Levite, wrote them down before the king and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the princes also of the priestly and Levitical families: one house, which was over the rest, of Eleazar: and another house, which had the rest under it, of Ithamar.	6 El escriba Semaías, hijo de Natanael, uno de los levitas, los inscribió en presencia del rey de los jefes, y en presencia del sacerdote Sadoc, de Ajimélec, hijo de Abiatar, y de los jefes de las familias sacerdotales y levíticas. Se echaba la suerte, una vez por Itamar y dos veces por Eleazar.
7 Now the first lot came forth to Joiarib, the second to Jedei,	7 La primera suerte cayó sobre Iehoiarib; la segunda sobre Iedaías;
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,	8 la tercera sobre Jarím; la cuarta sobre Seorím;
9 The fifth to Melchia, the sixth to Maiman,	9 la quinta sobre Malquías; la sexta sobre Miamím;
10 The seventh to Accos, the eighth to Abia,	10 la séptima sobre Hacós; la octava sobre Abías;
11 The ninth to Jesua, the tenth to Sechenia,	11 la novena sobre Iesúa; la décima sobre Secanías;
12 The eleventh to Eliasib, the twelfth to Jacim,	12 la undécima sobre Eliasib; la duodécima sobre Iaquím;
13 The thirteenth to Hoppha, the fourteenth to Isbaab,	13 la decimotercera sobre Jupá; la decimocuarta sobre Iesebab;
14 The fifteenth to Belga, the sixteenth to Emmer,	14 la decimoquinta sobre Bilgá; la decimosexta sobre Imer;
15 The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,	15 la decimoséptima sobre Jezir; la decimoctava sobre Hapisés;
16 The nineteenth to Pheteia, the twentieth to Hezechiel,	16 la decimonovena sobre Petajías; la vigésima sobre Ezequiel;
17 The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,	17 la vigésima primera sobre Iaquín; la vigésima segunda sobre Gamul;
18 The three and twentieth to Dalaiau, the four and twentieth to Maaziau.	18 la vigésima tercera sobre Delaías; la vigésima cuarta sobre Maazías.
19 These are their courses according to their ministries, to come into the house of the Lord, and according to their manner under the hand of Aaron their father: as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded.	19 Esta fue su distribución por turnos para entrar en la Casa del Señor, conforme al reglamento establecido por Aarón, su padre, como lo había ordenado el Señor, el Dios de Israel.
20 Now of the rest of the sons of Levi, there was of the sons of Amram, Subael: and of the sons of Subael, Jehedeia.	20 Los hijos de Leví que aún quedaban eran los siguientes: de los hijos de Amram, Subael; de los hijos de Subael, Iejdías;
21 Also of the sons of Rohobia the chief Jesias.	21 de Rejabías y sus hijos, el jefe era Isías;
22 And the son of Isaar Salemoth, and the son of Salemoth Jahath:	22 de los isharitas, Selomot, de los hijos de Selomot, Iájat;
23 And his son Jeriau the first, Amarias the second, Jahaziel the third, Jecmaan the fourth.	23 de los hijos de Hebrón, el jefe era Ierías, Amarías el segundo, Iajziel el tercero, y Iecamam el cuarto;
24 The son of Oziel, Micha: the son of Micha, Samir.	24 de los hijos de Uziel, Micá; de los hijos de Micá, Samir.
25 The brother of Micha, Jesia: and the son of Jesia, Zacharias.	25 Isaías era hermano de Micá, y el jefe de los hijos de Isías era Zacarías.
26 The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi: the son of Oziau: Benno.	26 De los hijos de Merarí: Majlí y Musí, además de los descendientes de su hijo Iaazías.
27 The son also of Merari: Oziau, and Seam, and Zacchur, and Hebri.	27 Hijos de Merarí por la línea de su hijo Iaazías: Sóham, Zacur e Ibrí.
28 And the son of Moholi: Eleazar, who had no sons.	28 Por parte de Majlí, Eleazar, que no tuvo hijos.
29 And the son of Cis, Jeramael.	29 Por parte de Quis, su hijo Ierajmel.
30 The sons of Musi: Moholi, Eder, and Jerimoth. These are the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.	30 Los hijos de Musí eran Majlí, Eder y Ierimot. Estos eran los hijos de Leví, agrupados por familias.
31 And they also cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Sadoc, and Ahimelech, and the princes of the priestly and Levitical families, both the elder and the younger. The lot divided all equally.	31 También ellos, igual que sus hermanos, los hijos de Aarón, participaron del sorteo en presencia del rey David, de Sadoc, de Ajimélec, y de los jefes de las familias sacerdotales y levíticas. En cada familia, el jefe fue tratado de la misma manera que su hermano menor.
