1 These are the generations of the sons of Noe: Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and unto them sons were born after the flood.	1 Questa è la discendenza dei figli di Noè: Sem, Cam e Iafet, ai quali nacquero dei figli, dopo il diluvio.
2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Thubal, and Mosoch, and Thiras.	2 I figli di Iafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Iavan, Tubal, Mesech e Tiras.
3 And the sons of Gomer: Ascenez and Riphath and Thogorma.	3 I figli di Gomer: Askenaz, Rifat e Togarma.
4 And the sons of Javan: Elisa and Tharsis, Cetthim, and Dodanim.	4 I figli di Iavan: Elisa, Tarsis, quelli di Cipro e quelli di Rodi.
5 By these were divided the islands of the Gentiles in their lands, every one according to his tongue and their families in their nations.	5 Da costoro si suddivisero le popolazioni delle isole delle genti. Questi furono i figli di Iafet nei loro territori, ciascuno secondo la sua lingua, secondo le loro famiglie, nelle loro diverse nazioni.
6 And the sons of Cham: Chus, and Mesram, and Phuth, and Chanaan.	6 I figli di Cam: Etiopia, Egitto, Put e Canaan.
7 And the sons of Chus: Saba and Hevila, and Sabatha, and Regma, and Sabatacha. The sons of Regma: Saba and Dadan.	7 I figli di Etiopia: Seba, Avila, Sabta, Raama e Sàbteca. I figli di Raama: Saba e Dedan.
8 Now Chus begot Nemrod: he began to be mighty on earth.	8 Ora Etiopia generò Nimrod: costui fu il primo a divenire potente nella regione.
9 And he was a stout hunter before the Lord. Hence came a proverb: Even as Nemrod the stout hunter before the Lord.	9 Egli era un valente cacciatore al cospetto del Signore, perciò si suol dire: "Come Nimrod, valente cacciatore al cospetto del Signore".
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Arach, and Achad, and Chalanne in the land of Sennaar.	10 Il nucleo del suo regno fu Babele, Uruch, Accad e Calne nella terra di Sennaar.
11 Out of that land came forth Assur, and built Ninive, and the streets of the city, and Chale.	11 Di lì uscì in Assur e costruì Ninive, le piazze della città, Calach
12 Resen also between Ninive and Chale: this is the great city.	12 e Resen, tra Ninive e Calach; quella è la grande città.

19 And the limits of Chanaan were from Sidon as one comes to Gerara even to Gaza, until thou enter Sodom and Gomorrha, and Adama, and Seboim even to Lesa.	19 Cosicché il confine dei Cananei fu da Sidone fino a Gerara e Gaza, poi fino a Sòdoma, Gomorra, Adma e Zeboim, fino a Lesa.
20 These are the children of Cham in their kindreds, and tongues, and generations, and lands, and nations.	20 Questi furono i figli di Cam secondo le loro famiglie e le loro lingue, nei loro territori e nelle loro diverse nazioni.
21 Of Sem also, the father of all children of Heber, the elder brother of Japheth, sons were born.	21 Anche a Sem, l'antenato di tutti i figli di Eber, fratello maggiore di Iafet, nacque una discendenza.
22 The sons of Sem: Elam and Assur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.	22 Figli di Sem: Elam, Assur, Arpacsàd, Lud, Aram.
23 The sons of Aram: Us and Hull, and Gether: and Mess.	23 Figli di Aram: Uz, Cul, Gheter e Mas.

28 And Ebal, and Abimael, Saba,	28 Obal, Abimaèl, Seba,
29 And Ophir, and Hevila, and Jobab.	29 Ofir, Avila e Iobab. Tutti questi furono figli di Ioktan.
30 And their dwelling was from Messa as we go on as far as Sephar, a mountain in the east.	30 La loro abitazione fu da Mesa fin verso Sefar, monte dell'oriente.
31 These are the children of Sem according to their kindreds and tongues, and countries in their nations.	31 Questi furono i figli di Sem secondo le loro famiglie e le loro lingue, nei loro territori, secondo le loro nazioni.
32 These are the families of Noe, according to their peoples and nations. By these were the nations divided on the earth after the flood.	32 Queste furono le famiglie dei figli di Noè, secondo la loro genealogia nelle loro nazioni. Da esse si dispersero le nazioni sulla terra, dopo il diluvio.
