1 Cantico di Maalot. QUANDO il Signore ritrasse Sion di cattività, Egli ci pareva di sognare.	1 A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, then we thought we were dreaming.
2 Allora fu ripiena la nostra bocca di riso, E la nostra lingua di giubilo; Allora fu detto fra le nazioni: Il Signore ha fatte cose grandi inverso costoro.	2 Our mouths were filled with laughter; our tongues sang for joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD had done great things for them."
3 Il Signore ha fatte cose grandi inverso noi; Noi siamo stati ripieni di letizia	3 The LORD has done great things for us; Oh, how happy we were!
4 Signore, ritiraci di cattività; Il che sarà come correnti rivi in terra meridionale.	4 Restore again our fortunes, LORD, like the dry stream beds of the Negeb.
5 Quelli che seminano con lagrime, Mieteranno con canti.	5 Those who sow in tears will reap with cries of joy.
6 Ben vanno piangendo, mentre portano la semenza comprata a prezzo; Ma certo torneranno con canti, portando i lor fasci	6 Those who go forth weeping, carrying sacks of seed, Will return with cries of joy, carrying their bundled sheaves.
