EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Yo te conjuro delante de Dios y de Cristo Jesús, que ha de juzgar a los vivos y a los muertos, y en nombre de su Manifestación y de su Reino:	1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 proclama la Palabra de Dios, insiste con ocasión o sin ella, arguye, reprende, exhorta, con paciencia incansable y con afán de enseñar.	2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 Porque llegará el tiempo en que los hombres no soportarán más la sana doctrina; por el contrario, llevados por sus inclinaciones, se procurarán una multitud de maestros	3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 que les halaguen los oídos, y se apartarán de la verdad para escuchar cosas fantasiosas.	4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 Tú, en cambio, vigila atentamente, soporta todas las pruebas, realiza tu tarea como predicador del Evangelio, cumple a la perfección tu ministerio.	5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6 Yo ya estoy a punto de ser derramado como una libación, y el momento de mi partida se aproxima:	6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 he peleado hasta el fin el buen combate, concluí mi carrera, conservé la fe.	7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Y ya está preparada para mí la corona de justicia, que el Señor, como justo Juez, me dará en ese Día, y no solamente a mí, sino a todos los que hay aguardado con amor su Manifestación.	8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
9 Ven a verme lo más pronto posible,	9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
10 porque Demas me ha abandonado por amor a este mundo. El se fue a Tesalónica, Crescente emprendió viaje a Galacia, y Tito, a Dalmacia.	10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
11 Solamente Lucas se ha quedado conmigo. Trae contigo a Marcos, porque me prestará buenos servicios.	11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
12 A Tíquico lo envié a Efeso.	12 And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
13 Cuando vengas, tráeme la capa que dejé en Tróade, en la casa de Carpo, y también los libros, sobre todo, los rollos de pergamino.	13 The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
14 Alejandro, el herrero, me ha hecho mucho daño: el Señor le pagará conforme a sus obras.	14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
15 Ten cuidado de él, porque se opuesto encarnizadamente a nuestra enseñanza.	15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
16 Cuando hice mi primera defensa, nadie me acompañó, sino que todos me abandonaron. ¡Ojalá que no les sea tenido en cuenta!	16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
17 Pero el Señor estuvo a mi lado, dándome fuerzas, para que el mensaje fuera proclamado por mi intermedio y llegara a oídos de todos los paganos. Así fui librado de la boca del león.	17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 El Señor me librará de todo mal y me preservará hasta que entre en su Reino celestial. ¡A él sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos! Amén.	18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
19 Saludos a Prisca y a Aquila, y a la familia de Onesíforo.	19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.
20 Erasto se quedó en Corinto, y a Trófimo lo dejé enfermo en Mileto. Apresúrate a venir antes del invierno.	20 Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
21 Te saludan Eubulo, Pudente, Lino, Claudia y todos los hermanos.	21 Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22 El Señor esté contigo. La gracia esté con ustedes.	22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
