Gálatas 6

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN
1 Hermanos, si alguien es sorprendido en alguna falta, ustedes, los que están animados por el Espíritu, corríjanlo con dulzura. Piensa que también tú puedes ser tentado.	1 And, brothers, if a man has been overtaken by any offense, you who are spiritual should instruct someone like this with a spirit of leniency, considering that you yourselves might also be tempted.
2 Ayúdense mutuamente a llevar las cargas, y así cumplirán la Ley de Cristo.	2 Carry one another’s burdens, and so shall you fulfill the law of Christ.
3 Si alguien se imagina ser algo, se engaña, porque en realidad no es nada.	3 For if anyone considers himself to be something, though he may be nothing, he deceives himself.
4 Que cada uno examine su propia conducta, y así podrá encontrar en sí mismo y no en los demás, un motivo de satisfacción.	4 So let each one prove his own work. And in this way, he shall have glory in himself only, and not in another.
5 Porque cada uno tiene que llevar su propia carga.	5 For each one shall carry his own burden.
6 El que recibe la enseñanza de la Palabra, que haga participar de todos sus bienes al que lo instruye.	6 And let him who is being taught the Word discuss it with him who is teaching it to him, in every good way.
7 No se engañen: nadie se burla de Dios. Se recoge lo que se siembra:	7 Do not choose to wander astray. God is not to be ridiculed.
8 el que siembra para satisfacer su carne, de la carne recogerá sólo la corrupción; y el que siembra según el Espíritu, del Espíritu recogerá la Vida eterna.	8 For whatever a man will have sown, that also shall he reap. For whoever sows in his flesh, from the flesh he shall also reap corruption. But whoever sows in the Spirit, from the Spirit he shall reap eternal life.
9 No nos cansemos de hacer el bien, porque la cosecha llegará a su tiempo si no desfallecemos.	9 And so, let us not be deficient in doing good. For in due time, we shall reap without fail.
10 Por lo tanto, mientras estamos a tiempo hagamos el bien a todos, pero especialmente a nuestros hermanos en la fe.	10 Therefore, while we have time, we should do good works toward everyone, and most of all toward those who are of the household of the faith.
11 ¿Ven estas letras grandes? ¡Les estoy escribiendo con mi propia mano!	11 Consider what kind of letters I have written to you with my own hand.
12 Los que quieren imponerles la circuncisión sólo buscan quedar bien exteriormente, y evitar ser perseguidos a causa de la cruz de Cristo.	12 For as many of you as they desire to please in the flesh, they compel to be circumcised, but only so that they might not suffer the persecution of the cross of Christ.
13 Porque tampoco aquellos que se hacen circuncidar observan la Ley; sólo pretenden que ustedes se circunciden para gloriarse de eso.	13 And yet, neither do they themselves, who are circumcised, keep the law. Instead, they want you to be circumcised, so that they may glory in your flesh.
14 Yo sólo me gloriaré en la cruz de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, por quien el mundo está crucificado para mí, como yo lo estoy para el mundo.	14 But far be it from me to glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 Estar circuncidado o no estarlo, no tiene ninguna importancia: lo que importa es ser una nueva criatura.	15 For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision prevails in any way, but instead there is a new creature.
16 Que todos los que practican esta norma tengan paz y misericordia, lo mismo que el Israel de Dios.	16 And whoever follows this rule: may peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
17 Que nadie me moleste en adelante: yo llevo en mi cuerpo las cicatrices de Jesús.	17 Concerning other matters, let no one trouble me. For I carry the stigmata of the Lord Jesus in my body.
18 Hermanos, que la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo permanezca con ustedes. Amén.	18 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
